In Vaine

This story is about super heroes specifically superheroes that struggle with the hard truths of reality and that is you can't save everyone but of course this is not the only lesson we,ll learn we learned many things things that I for one wish I could forget but let's take a step back to simpler times (damn this about to be a long story)

first things first

My name is John I am a regular everyday kid with fire powers I know so Normal and boring but the thing that makes all this worse is my last name cold COLD like why it couldn't just be John blaze or something but that doesn't matter

what really matters is I am in a super powered world where 50% of the earth is covered with people with powers and 50% of people with no powers and I still have to go to school I could become a hero and help people.

but thats to much work for not that much pay atleast for heros that are not known but being a villain ain't much fun either they normally get beat by heros especially in the city I live In which is day city I know so clever guess what city has more crime rate than this one NIGHT CITY

who comes up with these names we also have other areas that are far from where i live but I have never visited them ever like the V.E.P it stands for villain elimination prison I know spooky but I really don't know what be happening in that place

it's all a mystery for on the outside world and theres this other place that I am going to talk about later but for now that the basic premise of the world I live in is it a good world nope but is it one I would still like to live in also nope but I do and I can't switch that atleast for now but besides that

I gotta get ready for school cuase Im late I know old fashion actually let me look cool real quick (jumps out his window) I know I know now i use my fire powers to fly so cool right? Right?

No ok... I go to this school that teaches all the boring stuff in regular school but I get to be teached about how to control my powers even though I am already amazing (almost hits a bird) I guess a little more practice ain't so bad oh and the school I go to is called the super powered academy it's one of the best schools in the world it isn't the best that would be utimate powered academy which is some other place that nobody cares about right now

Enough staling today's my first day I don't want to be in a bad relationship with the teachers by being late so let me hurry up (10 minutes later) ok so this school has so many people in it and mainly people with powers but I also did forget to mention a couple teeny tiny thing it's not just powers I mean there are multiple ways for people with no powers to fight people with powers like

GEARS basically let's say you have gloves and you have to fight a super powered person and you have no powers and that glove has a gear that gives them like lightning effect on them you will be able to fight back obviously powers are better than gears but there are many people that have shown that gears are not to be underestimate like there's this one guy called.

The punisher he is a full on cyborg of gear and he is known as the strongest person on Earth but he went missing like 20 years ago and no body know where he went but yea he had 0 powers and he is known as the strongest it's amazing and there is this other thing I forgot to mention earlier is this drug called adrenaline and

basically there are multiple types of this drug and it's kinda cheating a little bit let's say you have no powers and you use adrenaline 1 you would get powers permanently and let's say you use adrenaline 2 you would get temporary powers and it's different every time you use the drug and adrenaline number 3 is the one that people don't use often but it is useful it's basically you don't get powers but you do at the same time basically

your strength defense and speed get a major boost permanently but you don't get any unique powers it pairs really well with gears and that's the main way for people also if you already used adrenaline once you can't use it again you would die unless it's temporary adrenaline you can use that one for how ever much you can

depending on how much tolerance you have (johns teacher) ok that explained class please turn to page number 5 yea that was not me speaking that was my teacher I was not gonna explain all that

(teacher) ok so class today is the first day of school so we will not be doing anything major but we will be doing a couple test on your powers and see what you can do and of course people with gears you are excused from joining if you want to but every one else please step outside to the right of me outside there is the

training grounds it's a giant forest now but one of our teachers (me) will create areas to test your powers but for now please make your way out side any way you can

(i used my fire poweres to fly out the window) but thats how I do things this one guy in my class had super speed so he was already there this other guy turned his leg into this dinosaur leg and stepped out the class this one girl literally just floated down and this one guy to Jumped out and dropped so fast and just landed on his feet I was confused but besides that there were other classes out side along side ours there were like 8 more it was cool seeing all the other classes together they had more cooler powers but you will see them later on

(teacher) ok class there will be 3 major areas in this training ground the city the arena and obviously the forest there will be vehicles scattered around for the people with no movement in there powers and there will be doctors and medical cases all over there are many rules that we have to go over but the main one is no killing and no leaving permanent damage on your fellow class mates it is going to be a team fight to test how good you all are with team work and coordination the team with the most people at the end of the 50 minutes wins
