"Why is everyone crowding the exits?"
Chloe peered over Alex's shoulder as they inched down the aisle.
"They're waiting for the post-credit scene," Alex said. He wasn't hurrying though. Like most of the lingering movie-goers his eyes were on the screen.
"Come on," Chloe urged. "I really need to use the bathroom."
"But it's a Marvel movie!" Alex protested. That just earned him another poke.
"We can watch it on Youtube."
Alex sighed, but turned around and led her out. He wasn't sure if he was ready to watch the scene anyway.

Oh man, my husband is one to always wait for those post-credit scenes as well. 😅 Alex was a good man for giving that up to take her to the bathroom 🥹❤️
No!!!! You can't leave before the final scene! You won't know what to talk about with the rest of your friends. What's a burst bladder compared to social anxiety??????
I seriously don't get these mid credit amd post credit scenes. I mean, why force people to sit through it? Why can't it just be shown pre credit? 🙄🙄🙄 I'm a very impatient person and I hate waiting 😅
I like the name you used, Alex! Also, great writing!
Oh, you don't leave during the credits. Such blasphemy... Thank you for this!
I am literally both of these characters. I always want to GO but I want to STAY and ugh. You get restless haha
Gotta' love those scenes. Great job, and a nice tribute, Loryne!
