I could write of castles falling or the ruins of a heart

I could write of flowered meadows or houses made of cards

But I cannot make you feel the things that stir my soul to sing

Offering of a piece of me, is all that I can bring

Paper-lace and lavender, snowflakes and whipper-wills

Shooting stars and moonbeams highlight dew drops on windowsills

Cotton sheets and teddy bear’s, the softest kiss goodnight

The warm embrace of morning as the sunlight meets your eyes

Are merely words used to describe some of the moments I imagine

A haunted house in wooded lands, or a knight fighting a dragon

A truly deep connection comes when we meet here in the pages

Exploring our imaginations, finding the key to open cages

So, take a chance and come along, let’s see where dreams can lead us to

It’ll be a grand adventure if I can go along with you

Imagine all the places our experiences create

If we try to change the world, when we open up the gate

Where make believe takes over and we escape reality

Blending imagination and some creativity

The illusions are spectacular and the views are never dull

The pathway is awaiting and destination, beautiful
