I Tried To Open The Door
The Door That Wouldn't Open
I knocked and I knocked, and I knocked again. The door still wouldn't budge.
"Hello!, I screamed into the letterbox.
It was silent.
I peered inside the letterbox, and all I saw was a dark void.
I tried to push the door open.
"Go away, I'm washing my hair!" The door screamed at me, then it threw me to the ground, and now I am asleep.
"Doors don't have hair," I said to myself, waking in my bed.
Confused, I went back to sleep,
And behind the door, was a ghost of a young lady who was brushing her hair!

Sherry walked by the sea alone. It had been only been a month since her husband had passed away in hospital. He had been ill for almost three years with an illness that nobody could name. She listened to the gulls cawing, and she heard the waves singing; though every sound felt distant to her. She used to walk by the sea on this beach with her husband, but he had long gone and Sherry felt lonely and lost without him. Memories replayrd themselves in her mind over and over again.

Mateo’s heart raced as he felt his leg sink into the decaying roof, his grip tightening around his camera and a bottle of Coke. The soda splashed, momentarily distracting him from the sharp pain stabbing his thigh. He watched helplessly as the bottle rolled off the roof’s edge.
