I am a Sword

A pen-forged microfiction.

By Dennis SchramerPublished 3 years ago • Updated 3 years ago • 1 min read

Forged in the heart of a roaring fire, I was born with a purpose. I am the blade that sings with each swing, the guardian of valor. In battles, my cold steel shatters darkness and defends the righteous. My hilt, a steadfast grip for unwavering hands, carries the weight of honor and duty. I've danced through centuries, whispering tales of conquest and sacrifice. Blood-stained, yet unbroken, I am a witness to the fall of kingdoms and rise of heroes. So perhaps, I am not just a sword; I am a legacy, etched in steel, bound by destiny.
