They say the meaning of life is up in the stars, surrounded by the blackness of space. But in my six month orbiting the planet I wasn't so sure anymore.

It shines as bright as the sun. It’s radiant blue and green colours with a pinch of white suspended into nothing.

Today we descend. Holding tight to our straps as we are violently pulled in. The yanked of the parachute announces our return. The splash in the water confirms it.

We open the hatch and take the first breath. In that moment we knew the answer was here all along.
