"Just a liiitle more," Sam said excitedly, his voice as high as a 10-year-old choir boy. Brushing his hands together, he announced proudly, "there, it's all done." Jim and Toby jumped off of the sofa and hurried to the table.
Jim looked over the table and said, pizza still hanging from his mouth, "do you have any idea how this is gonna change our lives, if it works?"
"Of course, it's gonna work," snapped Sam, protective of his newly operating invention.
"Hey," whispered Toby, "let's try it out." They all stared at one another for a minute. "OKAY," they all agreed together.
Sam poked a few buttons setting a date and time, and the next thing they knew, they were back at the pizza joint, like they had been, a few hours earlier.
"Now the real test," Sam grinned, as he entered - 09/12/1997, "here we go," he announced.
Before they knew it, they were standing, side by side with the infamous Allen Pace, in lovely, Los Angeles California.
Catching Dunbar off guard, they grabbed the 18.9 million dollars he was in the process of stealing, and time traveled back to 2023, leaving Dunbar standing empty handed, for the police.
