Hellfire and Chilling Winds

The 5th. Disciple remained waiting at the cliff because it finally became clear this would be the place of the final battle. The 5th. Disciple looked to his left and he saw Wasomi and KASI flying towards the cliff. As soon as they landed, a great, chilling wind swooped in like a tornado. The two Diamonds began to shine very bright and an intense heat emitted from them. The 5th. Disciple, realizing it was time is getting ready, placed the Diamonds on the ground in front of him. He drew his staff and struck the Diamonds and instantly, Tevos appeared. He looked as if uhis very flesh was the armor itself and the Diamonds were infused back into his body. Wasomi and KASI drew their swords as Tevos said the words…”Here comes the Legion of the Dark”. A great fire column surrounded the entire mountain on which housed the cliff however the chilling winds could still be felt in the midst of the heat. Everyone had their weapons ready except for Tevos. “What shall you fight with,Tevos…..hand to hand combat will not prevail against the Legion”, said Wasomi. Tevos looked at him and his body glistened as if it was made of a unique material. The Diamonds flashed and a chain whip began to appear from each of the Diamonds. The 5th. Disciple said..”Let’s begin”…As they all charged forward the face the beast inside the fire ( who’s name was The Wretch), the chilling winds became stronger and Tevos stopped and said…”There is something else approaching…it’s a great evil…it reminds me of the feeling I had when we fought The Saprophyte”. “It’s the Wendigo” said the 5th. Disciple…”And it seems to have its sights set for you”. Tevos stood firm as his body changed into an armor which it never had before. Wasomi, KASI and the 5th. Disciple charged the Wretch as the Wendigo climbed up the side of the cliff to face Tevos. Once the Wendigo reached the top of the cliff, it stomped the ground which caused the cliff to split. The cliff-side with Tevos and the Wendigo was completely destroyed. As the Wendigo began to descend to the ground below, Tevos flew after it. As the Wendigo was free falling, Tevos the chain-whip drew fire around the bladed tips. He lashed the whip at the Wendigo’s right arm and it was maimed. Tevos readjusted in the midair and flew back towards the cliff where they were fighting The Wretch. As Tevos got closer, he could hear thunderous sounds which shook the cliff. When Tevos made it to the cliff, he saw Wasomi, KASI and The 5th. Disciple being ejected from the fire which housed The Wretch. Tevos could see that they were nearly consumed by the flames. “The power of the HellFire was too much…even for us”, said Wasomi. “The longer we stayed, the more the fire took its toll on us and The Wretch was able to overthrow us”. The warriors were spent as if they knew they were defeated and then KASI made a move. KASI began to levitate and surrounded himself in fire. Wasomi looked and followed by doing the same thing. Tevos stood confused and in wonder as to what was about to happen. “They are preparing to sacrifice themselves in order to negate the fire around the Wretch”, said The 5th. Disciple. KASI and Wasomi flew into the fire and a great explosion occurred which sent Tevos and The 5th. Disciple airborne. They recovered in the air where they realized the Wretch was gone. It seemed as the fight was done but the Wendigo climbed back upon the cliff. The Wendigo stood there waiting for Tevos and its maimed arm began to regenerate. Tevos knew he had to take on the Wendigo by himself. Tevos landed back on the cliff but as The 5th. Disciple flew in to assist Tevos, an invisible force pushed him back thus creating a one on one fight between Tevos and the Wendigo. The Wendigo released a great roar and Tevos charged him and that’s when a great noise happened behind The 5th. Disciple….It was the Wretch! It seemed the sacrifice made by Wasomi and KASI only delayed its existence but it did nullify the fires it was housing. The 5th. Disciple knew that this was his chance to destroy it and so the battle began. Tevos was having a difficult time with the Wendigo. Its great strength and regenerative ability was becoming too much for Tevos to overcome. The beast was standing firm as if it knew that Tevos would not survive but Tevos was not finished. Tevos summoned fires on his left shin and flew straight into the air. He descended at a speed so great that the Wendigo couldn’t dodge it. As the kick landed, the Wendigo was sent flying off the cliff. As Tevos recovered, a blinding fire appeared in front of him. After the fire burned out, a sword was left in its place. He retrieved the sword and he heard a voice say…”A final gift from your guardians”. He looked around and the Wendigo had returned but this time, the Wendigo charged him. Tevos stood firm with the sword in his hand. When the Wendigo got close, Tevos cast a flame over the sword and jumped into the Rift. Upon exiting the Rift, Tevos launched the sword into the Wendigo left shoulder blade which exited through its chest. The Wendigo fell to its knees roaring in pain. The Wendigo’s heart was pierced. Tevos took advantage and wrapped his chain whip around its neck. The chains were engulfed in fire as the Wendigo was decapitated by the power of the whip. As the Wendigo’s body collapsed in defeat, Tevos flew towards the 5th. Disciple to help him defeat the Wretch. Although the Wretch is a gigantic creature, the 5th. Disciple was still fighting. As Tevos flew in to battle, the Wretch emitted a shriek and it seemed a demon sprouted from its back which resembled the look of the Shadow Wraithe. Tevos was frozen in place because he thought he vanquished that demon. The Shadow Wraithe dove from the back of the Wretch ready to fight like it was prepared to win. Once it landed, Tevos still stood in awe at the sight of this thing. The Shadow Wraithe conjured a flame around its left forearm and right shin which is the opposite of how the flames first appeared upon Tevos. Tevos shook off his stagnation as his flames appeared on both forearms and shins. Tevos glanced over to see how the 5th. Disciple was holding up and he was flying around as he torn one of the ten horns away from the head of the Wretch. As he looked back at the Shadow Wraithe, it had began flying towards him without warning. After barely dodging a sneak attack, Tevos understood that the Shadow Wraithe was afraid of a straight up fight. As Tevos began fighting, he realized that he couldn’t use any of he weapons. It was like the fight he had at the Alamo but it was more restricted. When the Shadow Wraithe hit Tevos, he found out that Tevos body was turned into armor. Tevos knew he had the Shadow Wraithe beat. It began backing off but it immediately flew into the air and dove into the ground which caused a big cloud of darkness. After a moment, Tevos saw a huge creature manifest from the darkness. Before the darkness, Tevos could see that the 5th. Disciple had cut off 5 of the 10 horns of the Wretch. The Wretch seemed to be getting weaker, it seems that destroying the creature’s horns would render it mortal. Tevos brought his attention back to the darkness and the “creature of the dark” was about to attack. The creature’s body was hidden in the dark but its long nails and long tail along with its head was the only thing visible outside the darkness. The creature tried to stab Tevos with its tail but he jumped into the air. How, he was grabbed out of the air. The eyes of the creature were hollowed out but Tevos then noticed its eyes roll over and started looking at him. The creature bellowed, “ Now, you will become a victim of the dark”! Before he was pulled into the dark, the Diamonds launched the chains into the eyes of the creature, blinding it.. Tevos then summoned the flames on his forearms to create a flame strong enough the scorch the creature and make it release him. Upon release, Tevos took the chains and lashed them into the darkness and created a great fire that burned creature. It emitted a painful howl and sunk into the darkness. Tevos looked around to see how the 5th. Disciple was handling the Wretch and noticed that he had cut off the final horn from its head. The Wretch roared as the 5th. Disciple was besting him. The 5th. Disciple flew towards it with his staff to deliver a critical hit but the Wretch was not done. It created a ball of fire in its hands and slammed them together which sent the 5th. Disciple flying back. Tevos could see that the 5th. Disciple was in trouble. Tevos could hear a strange sound from into the dark as if the ground was opening up. Tevos tossed the sword to the 5th. Disciple. He received the sword and stabbed it into the ground which caused a beam of light. The Wretch was trapped inside as it screamed in pain. The 5th. Disciple stood up with his staff ready and through it into the beam. The staff broke but the blades on the staff separated which stabbed the Wretch in specific parts of its head where its horns were removed. Afterwards, the beam of light disintegrated the Wretch. The sword disappeared along with the beam of light and the 5th. Disciple’s staff was made whole. Tevos turned around and saw the body of the Shadow Wraithe lying on the ground then the ground open up and swallowed it. The ground then unearthed a creature that almost reminded Tevos of the Saprophyte but not as tall. This creature was made of earth and a strange wood known as “wormwood”. It was planted in place like a tree with a strange arm that was flimsy like a vine yet made of wood. It had what resembled a body from the waist up, hollow eyes and a normal looking arm. The wormwood attacked Tevos and it vinearm hit him across the chest. Tevos was actually bleeding from the strike. It seemed that Tevos’ body wasn’t impervious to its attack. It swung its arm again but Tevos dodged it and managed to get behind it but it was no use. The wormwood possessed a second face! There was a giant face on the wormwood’s back. It opened its mouth and vines wrapped around Tevos binding him. As Tevos begin to get pulled into the mouth of the wormwood, the 5th. Disciple flew into action. He threw his staff into the giant face and it exploded. The explosion freed Tevos but sent him flying across the ground. The wormwood turned around to attack the 5th. Disciple. It lashed its vine-arm at him but he caught it. As they were in a tug of war, Tevos recovered and caused the Diamonds to grant him his Armor of Light. Tevos flew in with retrieved the Spirit Reaper from his armor. He struck the vine-arm thus breaking it and the 5th. Disciple threw his staff into the base of the wormwood. It exploded and sent the torso airborne. The wormwood fell to the ground defeated but not before uttering some words to Tevos. “You may have bested your demons but you have destroyed he who houses your demon”… Tevos took his staff and impaled the creature and it burst into particles of wood and dust. Tevos looked around at the destruction of the cliff and the only part that remained was the area of the tree which he rests upon. He walked over to it and saw the sword he used earlier. He thought it was gone but not so. “Upon this tree, I take my rest to take up arms in my spiritual quest. This second chance of life is mine to attain though evil will rise with its eternal flame. I stood the test of perseverance valiantly to be victorious in this Battle of Supremacy”. Tevos sat down to rest and when he looked up, he saw the 5th. Disciple flying into the clouds. Tevos looked into the horizon and thought…..”With these powers,I made a worthy stance but I’m no hero….I’m just a man who was given a second chance”.
