“Do you think I could’ve made it, if I hadn’t slipped?”

“No.”

“I thought I had a decent lead on you, and you don’t look like you’re in the best shape. Are you sure?”

“Yep, I’m sure.”

“There was the fence that separates the neighborhood only a few feet away, though. If I’d have gotten over it, I would’ve made it.”

“You wouldn’t have made it.”

“You’re very confident, for a fat man. I’m not sure you would’ve been –”

“I’ll repeat myself, because you don’t seem to have heard me the first time. You have the right to remain silent.”
