The smoke cloud rolled as his breath expelled from his lungs. His breath felt like welcomed wisps of life. the taste of blood in his mouth. Must've been that first hit. Hadn't seen that one coming he thought, can't be the last time but, at least for him.
That last fight in his eyes. A shudder went up his spine. So many time he saw that; the glare of death in another's eyes. Being in this work it happens often. What a brutality in the mind of those who must.
He clung to life in a manner he knew caused the onlooker's view to misconstrue his real hearts desire. Youth had stripped it from him because of the path he chose to walk. An agent of the corporate order.
That corporate order was a job he wanted to work and he knew from the start he would find his hearts desire. He knew that perfection in what he did, or thought required the mind to be clear. It also required the heart to be clear. No other way seemed to work but to expel the clogs in his thoughts. Most taught meditation. That was the clear choice for his purpose. It didn't do what they taught though. He tried many months and years meditating only to find the clogs in his thoughts to remain.
There had to be a way to clear them. His first thought was force them to break. He felt the words of his father sting. "You're hard headed."
He knew it was viewed as an ineffective way to be clear in the mind. He didn't care for that view. To force the clogs of his thoughts through meant there had to be resistance and to break that is his heart's desire.
He kept it flowing, punch and elbow after kick. Each opponent fell. creating a new opportunity. He'd take each as a path to the next. Blocking each advance of his enemy. Taking out one by one; his fight would be over soon. Just two left.
A glint of shiny chrome steel flashed. It was time to meet death with courage and wild abandon. He reach to his blade and whipped it toward the flash of metal. Thunk! target hit , the gun fell as the hand loosened it's grip.
Last enemy now, keep going. Pain didn't stop his advance. Kick, punch, elbow whirring as he threw them. He felt the throat of his opponent collapse. It's done.
Alpha Lobo one. Threat neutralized. What next he thought. Alex never waited for the response of another when hs job was to be done. He only knew go forward in the momentum. Go on with the job in clarity and precision. He led a team of security personell. It went with his passion. To liberate the mental clogs so that his body would remain in it best health. He knew that it also took mental clarity in his own comprehension of understanding how to keep the flow of Qi. His knowledge of these things felt internally the right way to be; it resonated with him in every facet of his life thus far.
Life just seemed to be in many ways to Alex's belief that it was like a walk. Starting young it is the first conquest set out by our parents. We often overcome walking before anything else. To his mind mastering the body meant his thoughts had to be as one, and balance was from the flow between them.
Meditating was the feel of the Qi; a watching of the life force around and through the consciousness. He only saw a clogging and felt if he just watched it was to clog the flow of this Qi. So, he joined the corporate job security team.
