Hazrat Tajuddin baba was born in kamthi. Hazrat's father's name could not be traced. But one of his uncles, Abdul Rahman, has taken care of Hazrat Tajuddin baba. So Hazrat's linage is traced back to Hazrat imam Hussain alahi salam.

Hazrat attended madrasa at the kamthi district of Nagpur and learned the holy Quran and hadith. Hazrat has divine knowledge from his childhood. Hazrat was one of the Qutb in that era.

Hazrat got spiritual knowledge from Hazrat Abdullah shah Hussaini shuttari Quadri in his childhood.

Hazrat has done a job in the Nagpur army for some time. Most of the nights Hazrat used to spend with a highly developed spiritual soul known as Hazrat Baud Saheb was undergoing spiritual practices. Hazrat Baud Saheb is recognized as one of the spiritual masters of Tajuddin Baba.

Miracles also started taking place around Hazrat. He would suddenly tell people about their past and inform them about future problems.

Miracles are the process of functioning of the Masters. Since more often, they work through the complex and mental mediums than in gross which ordinary mortals cannot function, they are termed as miracles. The forces creating miracles are subtle energies of nature not yet discovered.

Hazrat left this universe in the month of august we could not find the correct date and time.

Hazrat shrine is at Nagpur, where lakh of people gather weekly and seek blessing from Hazrat.

By 1925, when Baba was about 65 years old, Baba's health had deteriorated significantly. Maharaja Raghoji Rao provided the services of the best doctors of Nagpur to treat Baba but to no avail.

On 17 August 1925, Baba left the physical form, but He will always remain in the hearts of all His devotees.

His glory spread like wildfire, and thousands and thousands of Shakardars came to the palace to descend upon the court. As the word means, Taj was the crown of divinity for a stream of disciples from all walks of life and all schools of theological religions.

In his famous book "God Speaks," Meher Baba referred to the state of a Perfect Master, that a Sadguru or Qutb is the highest, and that one cannot realize oneself without the grace of a Sadguru.

A fund of Rs 50 crore has been approved for the development work of Tajuddin Baba Dargah, located at Bada Tajbag in Nagpur. State Finance Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar gave this information. Mungantiwar said that this amount had been sanctioned to complete the work started as per the approved format for the development of the dargah.

A review meeting was held at the state guest house Sahyadri on Thursday. Mungantiwar said that a draft of Rs 132.49 crore has already been approved for the development and beautification of the dargah. Out of this, funds of Rs.82.39 crore have been disbursed. Out of this, Rs 67.58 crore has been spent on development works. A fund of Rs 17.71 crore has been made available. Rs 50 crore was needed for the rest of the results taken up under the draft. It was approved in the meeting. Works like a compound wall, development of roads in the dargah, rehabilitation of shops in the dargah premises in the shopping complex, provision of toilets, and waste management are to be done.

On the occasion of the 157th birth anniversary of Saint Tajuddin Baba, programs were organized at various places in the city along with a large Taj Bagh.

The procession was taken out from the large Taj Bagh area on Umerad Marg this morning. Retired Judge Gunwant Kubde, Administrator of the Trust, Jarbir Taji and Talib Taji of Tajabad Darbar, Executive Members of the Trust Ashwin Betharia, Amanullah Khan, Rajendra Bharti, Shahzada Khan, Rahul Mangle, Ghulam Mustafa were present on the occasion. The procession consisted of bands, drums, and horses. Also, Baba Taj's Qawwali started on DJ. Sakkardara Check, Sirsapeth, Friday, Jumma Darwaza, Bhaldarpura, Ganjakhet-Itwari, Shaheed Check, Chitaroli, Lakdi Pool, Chitnavispura, Old Friday. There, the trust laid a sheet on Baba's tomb. Qawwali was held at night. Thousands of devotees from Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana and Chhattisgarh came to Nagpur for the festival. Many devotees cut cakes to celebrate the birth anniversary. A devotee had brought a 300 kg cake. Spectacles were distributed to 700 needy people on the occasion of Baba's birthday. District Judge Shailesh Deshpande, Justice. Sunil Hake, Justice. Raghuvanshi, Justice. Padwal and Administrator Gunwant Kubde were present.
