Have you ever Met a Creature in Disguise?

"Oh my Goodness! It is scurrying swiftly across the floor, moving it's abdominous body in a hurried fashion. From one spot to another, its sliding past the rocks in just a matter of time. It has a parrot green and limy, leathery texture to its skin, pattern of criss cross lines printed across it's body. The beady eyes not having a single glint of mercy are looking remorselessly for it's prey. That sure is some Clever being of its kind, Man!"

"Oh look at its long slider tongue, it's reddish hue giving the feeling of Blood thirsty longing. The tongue has the length that never seems to end. Oh that Innocent Cricket is gonna loose its life to the stomach of this Creature. And here it goes getting stuck to its tongue, getting rolled down its gut."

Edward and Jimbo, the commentators of the show excitingly critique the Chameleon performing in front of a huge audience. A show, where unique chameleons from around the world displayed their qualities and also showcased the talents of their owners who trained them.

"What species is it? Any guesses Edward?"

"I think this one's a Tiger Chameleon, let's ask it's owner."

"Ladies and Gentlemen, let's welcome on the stage, Alex, the Mighty Trainer and Owner of the Chameleon in front of our eyes."

Alex, an average heighted boy with a skinny figure stepped onto the stage, looking slightly nervous.

"Hey kid! What's up? Would you like to share your feelings with us?"

"Hi! I'm really glad to be here. It was always my dream to be a part of, "The Mighty Chameleons Show and well, Taurus is a Panther Chameleon."

"That is Great! Taurus is really a good pet. Ain't it talented just like it's owner Jimbo!"

"Definitely one of the perfectly trained pets!"

"Thank you!" Alex said smiling nervously.

"Oh look at Taurus changing colour to the camouflaged appearance of the branch it's resting upon. It's taking on the Dark brownish hue to its body."

"This is Marvelous Alex! What a Creation of God! Hey it's going towards the play ball stunt."

"It's eyes are swiveling around like a pinball. It's looking its prey in the eye from both different directions! It's jerky rhythm of walk is so fun to watch. It's changing colour adapting to the background colours."

"Ah, here it flings the ball with its tail! It goes back to get the ball and it's playing with itself."

"That's how one should be. Enjoy one's own Company, one'll never get bored."

Alex was smiling, watching Taurus move through the Terrarium enclosing all kinds of plants and trees best suited to the reptile.

The sun rose up. The rays making their way through Alex's window reaching his eyes. He woke up to a sudden start from the ringing of the phone right next to his pillow.

"Hello. This is Alex." He spoke as soon as he picked up the call still blinking and rubbing his eyes.

"Sir, we are calling from the Mighty Chameleons Show! You applied for the Program and you have been selected. The  Details have been mailed to you. Congratulations! Looking forward to Meet you and your Pet!" The person on the other side of phone said.

"Thank you so much! This is so exciting!" He replied controlling his stimulus to jump off the bed.

His half closed eyes, opened up like a fling. He jumped out of his bed and ran down the stairs in excitement to inform his Mom of the event.

"Mom where are you? This is so exciting!" He cried from above the stairs while taking two steps at a time.

"Oh Alex, what happened, you're already up!" His Mom called out from the kitchen downstairs.

"Good morning Mom! I got selected for the Mighty Chameleons Show! This is so exciting!" He exclaimed out.

"Wow! That's a Great News. Congratulations!" His Mom said excitingly.

"I can't believe this!" He exclaimed jumping up and down and went off to check on Taurus, which was resting in its Terrarium.

It took him an year to train Taurus. Always wanting his pet to be the Star of the Mighty Chameleons Show. Being a fan of the Show since his childhood, seeing reptiles and different creatures becoming the spotlight had aroused a desire in him to become famous just like the Millionaires prior to him, and that's what we call a Dream come true.

Never give up on your dreams and stay looking North. That's how you're going to succeed my friend.
