“Repudiate,” Cassie whispered—plugging her nose and slipping under the fountain tunnel nearest the edge of Grimmswarry's School of Rebounding Magic’s illustrious campus—before repeating the word again— “repudiate.”

“Why on god’s green Earth do you keep saying that?” Silas moaned.

“I haven’t the slightest clue, woke up from a dream with it on my mind…”

“Well, maybe you were trying to memorize a charm or something.”

They landed, hovering under pooling waterfalls that seemed to pour right-side up.

“This place is wicked, I’ve never seen this sort of magic before,” Silas declared as they crept closer towards the rolling amber waves.
