Hallofiend - a person who is addicted to Halloween.
Michael is an 11 year old boy known by those around him as the Hallofiend. The people in his life call him this with the belief that he is addicted to Halloween. Whenever the summer ends and Halloween season approaches, Michael just cannot contain himself. Michael himself was in extreme denial about himself until the morning of September 20th when his favorite stores in the area had not yet started putting up their Halloween decorations.
On the morning of September 20th Michael took a walk to the dollar store called Dollar Happy around the corner from his house. He went there with the intent of getting some snacks for the week, but when he arrived something else caught his attention. Around this time of year at Dollar Happy he would normally see giant Jack-o lantern and witch stickers stuck on the windows of the store, but when he got there that morning he didn’t see any. At first he was just a little confused, but when he walked inside and looked around didn’t see any other Halloween decorations and now he was anxiously upset.
At first Michael didn’t understand why he was so bothered, but then he left the store to go check all the other stores close by and saw they didn’t have any Halloween decorations up either and it was driving him crazy inside. The fact that this seriously disturbed him confirmed his family’s diagnosis, he was a Hallofiend.

Death is a black hole. Think about it. A black hole is the corpse of a star, something once warm and bright, now come to the end of its life cycle. But some will argue that the cycle of life does not end with death. That death is merely another path we must walk once our bodies expire and our souls ascend. In that moment, when the fuel in the star’s chemical tank hits empty and the shiny matte coat explodes into supernova, the mass left behind – the corpse – becomes a black hole. We understand that, around such a vast cadaver, dimensions work a little differently in death to the way we’re used to in life. For example, light cannot escape the pull of a black hole when it hits the point of no return. That’s where it gets its colour. Space itself is contorted by a black hole. That’s where it gets its funny shape. Even time. Time slows right down the closer you get to it. The closer you get to a black hole. The closer you get to death.
