Gengeekius or Gennerdius

Neerda was recalling her years growing up, of always feeling awkward and out of place as a child. She had been shy, lonely, insecure and somehow felt like the odd duck in the pond. Many of us can identify with her, Jeng thought to himself as he listened to her speak of her feelings, which reminded him of his own childhood.

A pact will be forever forged here, Gyek spoke up, she too was a member of the genius club of outcasts. We shall spread the word :

Geeks and nerds will no longer be described as eccentric or non-mainstream people. In current use, the word typically connotes an expert or enthusiast obsessed with hobbies or intellectual pursuits. Left in the past will be the generally pejorative meaning of a peculiar person, especially one who is perceived to be overly intellectual, unfashionable, boring, or socially awkward.

It's the 21st century, geeks and nerds have reclaimed their genius as special members of their own fandoms, as a new and positive time of the geek/nerd uprising has taken root and will continue in strength and numbers. These terms now demand reverence, lack of malice, and to be used as a source of pride. Now referring simply to "someone who is interested in a subject (usually intellectual or complex) for its own sake".

"Should we coin names for our new selective club". Neerda asked, feeling renewed and liberated.

"How about GENGEEKIAN OR GENNERDIAN".

All three engaged in a heated geek/nerd positive rebranding debate.
