Friends: A New Meaning

We often hear the phrase, 'boys and girls cannot be friends minus the love factor. If so, then Friends, the American sitcom would not have spanned 10 seasons.

So, considering this fact, and it's my personal belief as well, my story "Friends: A New Meaning," is based on this belief. So, yes, the main characters of Joan and Chris are two youngsters in their early 20s.

The story of the book

Joan, aka Jo, is a young journalist who's dream was to become a live reporter. But, becaus

e of her sister, she now works as a journalist at a daily newspaper. Christopher, aka Chris, on the other hand is an undercover FBI agent.

The story revolves around Jo and Chris as they navigate through their life. Jo is a young woman who lacks confidence and feels, she is the black sheep of the family. Chris on the other hand is an optimistic young man who loves his family and works as an undercover FBI agent.

The story begins with how Chris helps Jo get her lost confidence back and how he makes her realize being a being a newspaper journalist is as important as being a live reporter.

They also face an international drug dealer and together join forces to track him down and bring him to law, along the way meet their respective lovers.

Overall, no personal views, but from the reviews I got from reviewers, the book is a good read and the story motivates and inspires you as well. Personally, I think we all need Chris in our life. Since we can't have him in our life as he's a character in a book, by reading, we can follow his thoughts, and ideologies.
