Note: this is for L.C. Schäfer's One Dollar Challenge - Quote Me Baby (Goldblum Edition). Maybe I am being a little too literal with this, but it is my first entry and I am very exhausted after the end of a semester and the beginning of new contracts:

I agreed with him at the time, but I could not say a thing. I was financing the damn project myself, and if I admitted that Mother Nature did not care for all the precautions we took, the entire park would have been shut down. In all likelihood, I would have been in jail without the slightest chance of parole or a reprieve from the courts. Instead, it seems as though I have been forgiven and the project is now in other hands. I guess that's how it is.

I guess it will go on.

It must be our nature.
