Her fangs found the tender hollow of his neck.

planes carved the sky with their steel hunger,

compared to the brilliance thrumming in his mind.

The city breathed dreams,

pulsed with fevered ambition,

danced on the edge of madness—

but even that electricity paled

before the eternity he offered.

He had always belonged to Hollywood,

but now he belonged to her.

Her lips curled in rapture

as his blood bloomed warm across her tongue.
