The drug dealer begged me to catch him

I took a few quick steps to get behind Lao Wang. Around me were Song Chunlei, Liu Jingsheng, and others. Clearing my throat, I started cursing, "What the hell! These drug dealers must have sinned in their past lives and are now doing wicked things in this life! They're a bunch of freeloaders who eat but don't contribute anything. If I catch those drug dealers, I'll personally cut open their bellies, pull out their intestines, and strangle them with it around their necks. Damn it! And that's not all, I'll cut off their heads too, just like the human head tower next to Zhang Yunwei... I'll build a human head tower..."

"Shen La! Do you think it's fun to scare me?" Zhang Yunwei stood in front of the human head tower, about to reluctantly go around the tower to see if there were any clues. But just as he took the first step, he heard phrases like intestines, beheading, and human head tower. At that moment, his legs went weak, and he withdrew the half step he had taken. He shouted loudly at me.

"Shen La, are you going crazy? Do you think you can curse them out? You might alert them again..." Lao Wang's words were cut short as a gunshot echoed from the end of the hall, followed by a loud crash. A wall collapsed, and seven or eight people emerged from the debris, covered in dirt and disheveled.

"Ghosts! There are ghosts! There are ghosts!" The person leading the charge was Fatty, who was involved in organized crime. Just behind him was the person we had been searching for, Mott. Behind them, a jumble of henchmen followed. My first thought was, did I really curse them into this situation?

"Stay where you are, you're surrounded! Whoever moves, gets shot!" We raised our guns, prepared to fire. Unexpectedly, the drug dealers cooperated oddly. Mott dropped his gun and walked over, raising his hands, and in fluent Mandarin, said, "Arrest me. Just get me out of here, and I'll cooperate in any way!" As he spoke, he glanced back at the hole from which they had emerged. His henchmen had also been disarmed, handcuffed, and were sitting on the ground.

Fatty paced around, found Lao Wang with the highest rank, and said, "I am..." Lao Wang cut him off, "I know who you are, and thank you for your hard work." Fatty didn't appreciate his words and almost shouted, "Don't be polite, hurry up and leave this place. There are ghosts here!"

Fatty's expression changed abruptly, and he pointed trembling fingers toward the exit of the hall. Lao Wang turned his head and saw that the wall that had previously descended had returned to its original position.

Fatty realized the situation and rushed to Mott's side, grabbing his collar and asking, "Is there another way out?"

"We can't get out. We're all going to die here," Mott's face turned ashen as he slumped on the ground.

Although we didn't know what had happened earlier, we could sense the gravity of the situation. I ran to the wall and tried the same method as before. It didn't work. That face just wouldn't appear. It seemed I needed to find another way out.

"What happened in there? Why are four people missing?" Lao Wang counted the number of people. Only seven of them had run out. "It's all this damn guy's fault! Why couldn't he have hidden the drugs somewhere else? He had to hide them in this cursed place!" Fatty pointed at Mott and cursed before explaining the whole story.

Years ago, Mott had wanted to find a suitable cave along the China-Myanmar border to use as a drug storage facility. However, he couldn't find the right location—either the caves were too conspicuous, too far away, or too small to hold enough stock.

Five years ago, thanks to a fortuitous encounter, Mott saved a Miao person who had accidentally fallen off a cliff. As a token of gratitude, the Miao person brought Mott here. Mott was initially terrified upon entering the cave but soon became fascinated by it. This cave was the perfect place to stash drugs. The cave behind the waterfall had remained undiscovered for centuries. Even if someone stumbled upon it, they would be terrified by the headless corpses along the way. And even if someone dared to enter, they wouldn't be able to access the grand hall without the correct method. After being taught the method to enter the hall, the Miao person warned Mott never to disturb the human head tower and corpses in the hall, as it would attract vengeful spirits.

Having found this treasure trove, Mott began stockpiling drugs frantically, preparing for a big deal to retire in luxury. But after five years of storage without issue, his luck turned sour when they started selling. Following the Miao person's advice, Mott hadn't dared to disturb the hall's corpses, even those in the secret chamber used for drug storage.
