~ A Night and a Day!~

Sleep, Sleep, Sleep,

He did…

The first night past

And then the first day

Came and went,

So night befell again.

But wake from his sweet slumber

The pretty prince did,

For he must tell his tale

And decide which way he’s going to go?

When he climbed out of bed

The first thing that ran through his mind,

Was why on earth was the place where he stood

Still in the dark?

“Surely the sun, the light of day has come?”

He looked about to see what he could

And there were curtains drawn closed,

And a great ah ha, with a sigh of relief

In thinking he understood,

Why of course they must be opened

And all shall then be well!

So fumbly he found his way

Once there his hands were quick,

To grab a firm hold

Sure what was to come,

Satisfied with himself

He pulled them back,

Strong…

Oh but what happened next

He could not have foreseen.

Because there it was

All the evidence,

As plain as one could see

No light, No light, No light at all,

There was none

Just shadows of a night,

Lingered all about

And sadly there at a distance,

Just beyond his arms reach

Standing strong and steady,

Was a brick wall

For a view.

How long it has been there,

One could only guess?

“Oh me oh my…

What am I to do?

Even if I were to climb through

There is no space for me to move,

And in all this darkness

Its certain to blind the way,

For me!”

Discouraged and at a loss

He pulls away,

Wondering what he could get done?

For clearly having slept to long,

Puzzled for sure

As never before has he ever needed to.

With the curtains drawn back

And all of night settled in,

His eyes began to see better

Enough to know there was a door,

He could walk through.

So in that direction he drew

One leg at a time,

Until he walked through it…

What he found was a site of relief,

A nice new clean set of wonderful

Clothes on top of the closed toilet seat.

There everything he could desire to need

Was all in Perfect Place,

So he could become refreshed

And a-new.

Oh, not a minute did he waste

Excited to be able to become fully,

Refreshed!

As he began to find a nice space

To put what he’s removing,

A fullness of himself

He could see.

For he had found the mirror

What greatness there he could see,

Such good looks, charm,

Perfect health, strong body

And great height,

Hair, eyes, nose, lips

Smile and face!

What satisfying grace

Instantly taking under,

His own charm.

Surely it’s true

That not 1 maiden,

Should lack desire

All should be faint,

With heat and screams

Of one they love,

So famous to them.

They shall fan themselves out

As this divine Prince,

Passes by them

Gracing them,

With his Presence!

Though his thoughts

May have never past,

From his lips

As he stood there,

Looking at himself…

He was fantasizing

Them within.

The mirror knows all

Nothing from it can be hid,

And in the place where he stood

It began to reveal its magic…

All that it could offer him

Yes a person’s deepest desires,

Burning within

The mirror lets it show!

In one corner, then another and another

Images began to flash,

Faces of fine beauty

Girls everywhere.

Glorious and fine

Laughing with charm,

In time with his jokes

Flashing him smoothly,

With their desire

Pick me, Pick me,

They say with all their display!

So many, a fine choice

The prince knew not,

What he should do?

He quickly withdrew

From the mirror,

And shook his head out

To be clear of this,

Fantastical moment

For fantasy is all,

It still was.

Not feeling so well

He reckoned with where he was,

Maybe after his shower

He’ll feel better,

Then he can think clear

On what to make of all this?

Where is he and how long will he be there?

What is this test (if it was one)

That he must pass through,

In order to return to the old familiar life

And routines, Up till now,

He’d been accustomed too!

Change can be good, when it’s understood,

But where he is now is unfamiliar…

Strange faces, strange places,

Confusing thoughts on everything!

His only hope, is that someone comes soon,

For as he jumped into the shower

You could not mistake it,

The rumble and the race of TIME.

A stomach in need of food

So his greatness,

Can live on and on and on!

* * * * *

Now the hosts already knew

The deed they were to do,

So the mirror said true

There is much more to still do,

Far beyond this man’s measure

Of any daydreams, he so desired.

So the magic went to work

Not a moment to waste,

In the mission to complete

And the change that must take place!

Just like that, came the knock at the door

No answer came,

So the keys began to shuffle

Unlocking it.

The stranger comes in

A masquerade of a scene,

For the face that now displayed

Just like the night before,

Something to not be understood?

The stranger laid the tray on the bed

With a note left, that said…

“I’ll be back later, it will be then

I show you around. Please eat and be merry,

Get settled in, for there’s much new and exciting

To share about the future, if you dare be bold,

And delight in what’s to unfold!”

Then quickly this stranger

A new phenomenon,

Amongst the Princes midst

Left as quickly as he came.

It’s been awhile since they’ve had any guests

But none so great a challenge, as this one to overcome,

What great delight

In boasting of their powers,

Of the offering, to life

In a world of night,

Where nothing is off limits

That you can conceive,

If you only give in

To what,

They are offering!?

* * * * *

Time Past

And the Prince appeared,

To his great delight

He can see,

The service to him

Such a showy display,

Of a tray so grand

So great the food that’s there,

On which he could delight.

For this moment

Things are good,

He digs in, not a morsel

Will he waste,

The taste of it all

So divine,

As he reads the note

And it is understood,

More will be explained

When the time is good!

Next…

~Princess Heart!~

On the other hand

What a display of art,

Of such a glorious heart!

As she wakens from her dreams

A new day has dawned,

What an enchanting site

The sun shining through Rays,

Upon her that make her glow.

As she lies there

Peacefully with a smile,

In a Fantastical Bed

A place just for her body,

And head

So Spacious and Grand,

Oh, and of course…

We musn’t forget

It’s completely handcrafted too!

So surely it’s quite understandable

Why some days,

She stays in it till 10!

Even if her day is full

She makes the world wait,

As rest is surely important

For someone with such a divine,

Appointment in life, like hers.

To someday soon

Help rule over the Kingdom,

With her King

As the Greatest Queen,

She’s already mastered

Learning how to be,

Over the years of life now past her.

Sitting up now

She slides her feet into slippers,

And stretches up her arms

And yawns and giggles,

Over how wonderful life is

When light and warmth,

From heaven is there with her.

She shares in its Optimism and hope

As each day comes and goes with it,

She knows she’ll get through

For soon,

Her Perfect Prince…

Will share in it too!

To be continued of course…! 🙂
