When everyone is incentivized to create

Selfie sticks and cameras attached to GorillaPods littered the streets.

Every person held one. They spoke to their lenses with theatrical flair.

Drivers talked to dash cams while navigating this maze of oblivious pedestrians.

When accidents happened, nobody stopped. They converged like mice to trash. They filmed more.

Some even wore artificial intelligence headsets. Eyes covered. Recording everything AI told them about a place.

Uploading was easy to spot. Cafes and parks overflowed with people on devices like clogged gutters in a monsoon.

Consumption was obvious too. People walked in trances. Nobody spoke.

Everyone chased the creator's life.
