It was a late night on the Westside of Chicago. Police sirens howling in the distance, prostitutes and the neighborhood dope fiends trying to find their way. The kids ran the streets as they hung out on the corners, right next to the street lights that made the calmest nights look grim. Alex and her friend Jolly roamed until they finally reached the Green Line Train station. Alex pulled her hoody overhead as she looked side to side, watching her surroundings. Jolly went over and put his arm around her.

"What's good with you? Why you look so scary?" Jolly asked.

"Aint nobody scary. I'm just watching out. It's too many clucks and goofy's out here."

"Mann, you aint got to worry about shit, we out here. Plus, I'm the man on these streets."

"Whatever boy."

The two entered the station to purchase their ticket. Alex paused for a moment as she scoped out their surroundings; the train station's environment was unsettling as always. But on this night, things felt off. Roaches crept back into the holes, dying light bulbs and the smell of piss and malt liquor. The words and numbers spray-painted on the walls gave off a demonic and cult-like vibe. Alex then noticed the homeless man coming from around the corner.

"Loose squares! Loose squares!" Yelled the homeless man.

The Homeless man wore a long trench coat and rocked a Chicago Bulls scully as he wobbled back and forward to maintain his balance. Jolly looked around and noticed no security and nobody working customer service. He saw this as an opportunity to hop the turn style. Alex kept her eye on the homeless man.

"Come on, we out this bitch."

"What? Wait. What you on Jolly?"

"Fuck you mean? We bout to hop over this bitch and get on the train; we aint gotta pay."

"I don't know bout this, Jolly; let's take a Uber. I got you."

"Here you go with that scary shit man, what? You scared of buddy over there? You act like you aint never seen a homeless person before. He aint gone do shit."

"Jolly that aint it; I'm high, tired, and I aint rocking with this. Shit just looking suspect as hell. Let's just catch this Uber."

"Mann this why I can't smoke with yo ass, you be tweaking. Well, check this out."

Jolly jumped over the turn style and turned around. Alex grew frustrated, so she took a deep breath and placed her hands on the turn style; and finally hoped up as Jolly assisted her.

"See, now was that so bad? The train gonna be here in ten minutes."

"When you gonna get yo whip fixed Jolly? Or maybe I just need to stack up and by my own whip."

"Hey! We aint doing that tonight; we chillen. We gonna get on this train and ride. Scary!"

"Yeah ight, I'll be scary. But this will be the last time we do this, yo silly ass don't be watching the news."

"Because the news be on bullshit Alex."

"Nah! Not all of it. Random black people be coming up missing, military weapons be showing up in alleyways, and"

"Oh my God! You believe in that conspiracy theory bullshit? Yo ass need to stay off the internet. Mafucas know where to get guns and shit! Mufucas run away and get kidnapped all the time Alex. What Am I suppose to do?"

"Ight Jolly. Drop it."

After exchanging a few words and blowing off steam, Jolly and Alex waited on the platform for the next train headed to Ashland and 63rd. The two were quiet for a second to avoid any more debates. Alex looked around with her arms folded as she noticed the homeless making his way on the platform.

"Loose squares! Loose squares! Rocks and blows!" Yelled the homeless man.

The winds started to blow as the garbage ran past the tracks; the homeless man stopped and began to lean back and forward, staring directly into Alex's jolly direction. Alex immediately turned away and cuddled under Jolly as the train made its way towards their stop.

Suddenly, a mysterious mist came from underneath the tracks and began to circulate around the area.

"What the fuck is this fog?" Alex asked.

As the mist grew thicker. Alex started to get light-headed and dizzy; she then gazed out the corner of her eye and saw the homeless man fall out. She then looked to her right into Jolly's face; she noticed Jolly's eyes getting low like hers.

"Jolly, Jolly baby, you ok. I don't, I don't."

The light from the incoming train became brighter as it got closer, but it was too late. Alex fell to the floor and finally blacked out.

***

Moments later. Alex woke up dizzy. Alex realized she was sitting on a train, slowly pulling into a stop; she had her mouth duct taped, and her feet cuffed to the poles of her seat. Alex started to panic, moaning and groaning, trying her best to yank the cuffs off. She then noticed that there were other passengers just like her. They had no personal items, no ticket, nor did they remember how they ended up on a random train.

Suddenly, the doors to the train opened as six individuals dressed in all black suits and red porcelain masks. They followed behind another individual who carried a clipboard and was dressed in surgical attire. When more passengers woke up and found themselves restrained in cuffs, they started to fight and moan to break free. The individual with the clipboard approached one of the passengers and began to take notes.

Once he was done recording his information, he looked to one of the mask guards and shook his head no. The masked guard then walked over and shot the passenger in the head. Everyone began to cry out for help. Alex wanted to vomit while the lady next to her began to piss her pants. The six individuals continued with their agenda as they shot and killed four more passengers that the man with the clipboard didn't like.

If things couldn't get any worse, coming through the double doors with a smile on his face, was Jolly. Alex was in shock and confused. She then started to breathe uncontrollably. Jolly approached her and ripped the tape from her mouth.

"Damn shorty my bad, that conspiracy shit you were talking about earlier. Well, some of that shit is true. And I play a small part in it."

Alex continued to cry silently, even though she was free to speak. There was nothing she could say or do, for she knew that this was the end.

"Yeah shorty. I get with little bitches like you or become cool with some random dude and make him believe we are the best of homies. And when the time is right, I bring yall asses here. Organs go for a lot on the black market, and they pay out is way better than hustling on the street. And by the way, I do gotta whip; two of dem bitches."

The homeless man Alex had saw earlier was in the seat behind her. He struggled to speak while Jolly was talking. Jolly stared at him for a second until he finally walked over and took the tape off his mouth.

"You stupid bitch! Get me the hell out of here!" Yelled the homeless man.

"Don't worry, your pain and suffering will be over soon. You aint gotta worry about sleeping on the streets again."

The homeless man spits in Jolly's face.

"Kiss my black ass!"

Jolly raised his pistol at the homeless man's head, and before he could pull the trigger. The man with the clipboard stopped him.

"No! No, no. I want this one, Jolly."

"What? This smelly piece of shit?"

"Why yes. he smells and looks like scum, but his eyes, teeth, bone structure, and dark skin tone is profitable. I want to run a test, now uncuff him and bring him to the lab."

The guards uncuffed and stood the homeless man up to his feet.

"Man, what the fuck yall do to me? I can't feel my legs!"

The man with the clipboard got closer, he smiled as he watched everyone around tremble in fear.

"Your legs are fine; the nerve gas you and everyone inhaled caused temporary paralysis. My name Is Doctor Brown, and you and the rest of the people on board are a part of something big. Ultimately, you're serving your country most amazingly. And for that, we say thank you ."

"Tell yo mama to kiss my ass! Bitch!"

"Sorry, but mother passed years ago. Take him away, and one more thing, everybody. This your final stop; welcome to the Windy City Bloodline." said Dr. Brown.

The masked men dragged the homeless guy off the train and strapped him to an operating bed. Jolly looked at Alex one last time and shrugged his arms before he followed behind Doctor Brown. Alex then got comfortable in her seat; because the only thing she could do was cry and wait.

***

As the masked men pushed the homeless man through the underground lair, the environment looked like a real-life hell. Sharp tools that can only be used on cars dipped in blood. Paintings of a beast bleeding over Chicago and its children. You can hear people begging for their lives and the sounds of razor-sharp objects brushing against their flesh as they scream in agony.

"Where the fuck yall ass taking me!" Asked the homeless man.

The masked men finally stopped; they dropped off the patient and sat him under a single light. After Leaving the room, Dr. Brown approached the homeless man with a scalpel in hand. As he got closer, the homeless man began to laugh hysterically.

"I'm glad you find pain and death amusing, but that's the spirit." Said Doctor Brown.

As the homeless man continued to laugh, the lights in the facility began to flicker on and off.

"Dammit, what is this?" Said Dr. Brown.

All the lights in the underground lair had shut off; you could hear gunfire and screams . Doctor Brown was curious about what was going on; he then walked closer to the door. The gunfire outside continued to sound, and the screams turned into cry-outs for help.

Doctor Brown was nervous when the noise finally stopped; the light continued to flicker on and off in his office, but when the homeless man stopped laughing. The lights in the lair shined bright, and Doctor Brown had an unexpected guest standing right behind him.

"Ahhhh!!!" The Doctor screamed. As the mysterious person stabbed him the stomach with a pipe.

The individual was a young lady dressed in all-black fitted attire, perfect for an assassin. It was stitched with gold tribal markings; she was lovely with her glossy full lips and long lemonade braids that went down her back. She had beautiful slanted eyes and dilated dark brown pupils that showed a lost look of innocence. Once she was finished bleeding the Doctor to death, she dropped him to the floor and released the homeless man.

"Kobi are you ok." asked the assassin.

"Shit, I'm good. Damn Asap! It's about goddamn time! I thought yo ass would be here sooner! I can't feel my legs and arms. I need a hit!"

"I got you." Asap responded.

Asap quickly injected Kobi with adrenaline. Kobi then sat up, took a deep breath, and was instantly ready for action. Asap then took off her bag and handed Kobi his gun, laptop, and earpiece. Once Kobi was strapped up, he turned on his earpiece to get direction from his boss, Rat Cliff.

"Yo Rat Cliff, I'm online can you hear me? This Kobi, I'm here with Asap, over."

"Good job Kobi. Your objective is to retrieve evidence from the lair and free the surviving hostages. Asap should guide you."

"Copy that. Alright, Asap, you heard the bossman, let's get it!."

As more security guards ran towards the commotion. Asap led the way as she released these golf ball-sized EMPs that caused the guard's guns to be useless. When Asap could get close, she unleashed a deadly hand combination that took out every opponent.

***

Kobi had entered one of the main rooms; he then proceeded to one of the laptops sitting on a desk.

"Damn, Asap, yo ass left a mess."

Kobi stepped over the deceased bodies that Asap left behind. Kobi pushed one of the dead bodies off the desk; he hooked up his computer to the Bloodline servers and began downloading everything he needed.

***

In the next room. Asap continued her deadly assault on the reinforcements as the guards tried their best to close her in. Asap flipped and spun over tables while landing kicks that caused some of her enemies to fall back; she then tumbled back and forward to counter any blow the guards struggled to land.

***

Meanwhile, Alex and the passengers were afraid as they listened to the mayhem from outside. Jolly came running back inside the train, covered in blood.

"Oh shit! Oh Shit! Gotta get the fuck up out of here!."

Jolly had his gun to his side; he then ran over and sat by Alex, huffing, and puffing. Fearful of what he couldn't see or control. Jolly pointed his pistol toward Alex.

"Ok, shut up and be cool, and that goes for everybody on this train."

The passengers remained silent and terrified, but no one looked more afraid than Jolly.

***

Asap had just finished clearing the room; she then got on the radio and contacted Kobi.

"All clear in here Kobi, over."

"Hear you Asap; I'm almost finished downloading the file; meet me on the train to release the passengers. Then we can blow this bitch, over."

After receiving her next instruction. Asap started her way towards the train, but she was stopped in her tracks once she noticed a vast tv monitor speaking. An older white man appeared on screen dressed as if he were the pope; he called out to Asap.

"Asap! Asap! Is that you? or should I call you Ishma Green? Hi, my name is Father John. I see you know Eddie Flinch, a gifted scientist who hasn't lost his touch."

Asap had lost track of the mission, for she was fully engaged with the guy on the tv monitor.

"Yes. Eddie Flinch, who goes by the name Rat Cliff, is your boss, I believe, and your real name is Ishma Green. I remember you, ha-ha. Nine years ago, you went to a hotel party in Oak Brook; in the middle of this engagement, I had one of my worker's drug you. Later you wandered off from your friends and journeyed around the hotel, where you finally collapsed in the kitchen. When my worker came to retrieve your body, it was too late. My worker foolishly gave you too much liquid candy, and you died from an overdose. He tossed your body in the freezer, where a housekeeper later found you." Said Father John.

***

Kobi made his way towards the train once his download was complete. When he got on board, he saw that Jolly had a pistol pointed at Alex's head.

"What the fuck! Homeless man? You the cause of this? You the police or some shit!?" Jolly asked.

Kobi saw that Jolly was afraid, so he aimed his automatic and shot above Jolly and Alex's heads. Jolly released Alex. Once Alex was out the way. Kobi shot Jolly in the leg.

"Oh shit, man! Ok! Ok!" Jolly yelled.

Now that Jolly was out the way. Kobi pulled out his laptop to scan the train and the underground facility to find their way out.

"Ah yo Rat Cliff come in."

"Yes Kobi, I read you."

"I got all the needed info, and I'm with the hostages. I just need to get the train running back on track, but the computer is showing me multiple pathways through the tunnel."

"Ok, Kobi, this is what you need to do. From my end, I can see that–."

"Hello! Rat Cliff! Rat Cliff, do you read me?."

Kobi lost signal as the train's light started to flicker red and green, and the doors slammed shut.

"What the fuck? I didn't do that." Said Kobi.

***

Meanwhile. Father John explained the Catholic church and Elite's purpose for the Windy City Bloodline; he also informed her more of her past life as Ishma Green.

"Ishma, you may see me as a monster, but I'm honest. I have not lied to you at any time during this conversation. Me and my organization only do what we can to continue to keep life's cycle moving. We removed certain individuals from the face of the Earth for their organs and give to those who deserve a second chance, but when it comes to Rat Cliff. He is the real monster, stealing your body from the morgue. Reviving you in the perfect body. Look at you. Brown goldish flesh made of strong fibers. Forty percent human bone combined with a seventy percent cybernetic exoskeleton. Your mind and spirit are brought back to life by science that only one evil genius can explain; I fell for you, Ishma ."

"Lies!"

"You keep telling yourself that, Ishma, but right now, the train that sits outside on that track is headed back to Chicago. It should reach downtown within 13 minutes; once it enters a certain point of the tracks. The train will trigger an explosion and kill the hostages and anybody within a 2-mile radius. We can't have the public know about our operation. Huh-what a waist. You are such a work of art, that damn Rat Cliff. He managed to create the world's first real-life Frankenstein. Ishma Green. Aka. Asap."

Once Father John was done speaking, the tv monitor exploded along with the rest of the office.

***

Kobi had to think fast once the train started moving, without Rat Cliff to give him direction and Asap at his side. Kobi stood to his feet with his laptop in hand, looking around for an exit.

***

Asap walked into the fires in deep thought; she didn't realize the underground was falling apart around her. She enjoyed working with Rat Cliff and Kobi; she never thought they would lie to her about anything. As the lair came crumbling down. Asap's earpiece started to ring as she heard Kobi screaming her name.

***

Kobi started to get worried as the train began to pick up speed. The train was seven carts long with no conductor, and from the other train carts. More masked guards were headed in Kobi's direction with weapons in hand.

"Oh fuck! Asap where you at?" Said Kobi.

Once the masked guards came onto the cart. Kobi stood with his finger on the trigger, but the gun jammed.

" Get the fuck outta here!" Said Kobi.

Once the guards saw the advantage, they rushed Kobi all at once. Before the guards could get closer. Asap came crashing through the back of the train and immediately started to engage in combat.

The guards swung their swords and tried their best, but at this point. Asap was focused. She tightened her stance, then proceeded to break arms and faces with every jab. She flipped, kicked, and maneuvered around the train poles to gain the upper hand.

The train was moving at 120 miles an hour; sparks flew on the tracks as wires started snapping. The train was eight minutes away from entering the Chicago land area and exploded on entry.

Asap continued to slash at the guards' throats with a set of daggers she pulled from her side; she was making it rain blood as she showed no mercy for the enemy. When she was done killing off the rest. Kobi approached her with his laptop, trying to figure out what they should do next.

"Damn! Thanks! Listen! My laptop is showing that when this train crosses the main track–"

"It will explode, I know Kobi. Why did you and Rat Cliff lie to me?" Asap Asked.

"Wait, what, fuck is you talking about Asap? We gotta."

"My name is Ishma. Ishma Green. I died long ago, and Rat Cliff made me again. Is that true?"

Kobi saw sorrow read upon Asap's face; he saw her eye's water in confusion. Kobi wanted to tell her, but he had to keep his guard up. So Kobi gently placed both hands upon Asap's shoulders.

"Listen Asap. Me and Rat Cliff love you to death, and yes. You are Ishma Green, and I promise to tell you everything. But right now, we gotta figure out how to stop this fast-ass train. Or me, and thousands of people are going to die. And there will be no story to tell, so please, Ishma. Help me stop this train."

Located up above, the streets were rumbling like an earthquake. Nobody knew what was happening because the Windy City Bloodline was making its way fast. After hearing Kobi out and letting the tears fall from her eyes.

Asap climbed out the window and crawled on top of the speeding train while maintaining balance. Once she reached the edge. Asap flipped in front, landed on the tracks, and dug her hands in front of the train.

The impact caused Kobi and some of the hostages to lung forward. Asap's feet were breaking up the tracks and building dust as she pushed forward, surrounded by heavy sparks that burned her flesh. The speeding train was starting to slow down as the people up above felt the mayhem coming their way.

Just as the once speeding train went out into the open. Asap brought it to a complete stop. The current from Asap's body disarmed the bomb on the tracks.

Asap quickly ripped the doors of the hinges to check on the hostages and Kobi. The people at the Chicago red line took pictures with their phones and started to crowd around as the smoke cleared. Kobi grabbed Asap's arm.

"We gotta go out the back way; we can't let the people see us."

Jolly finally crawled from under the chair to seek medical attention; Once Jolly crawled around looking for his pistol, he heard someone whistle.

"Hey Jolly over here."

When Jolly turned around. Alex shot him in the face. When the Chicago police finally opened the doors, the image of the train was too sickening. The hostages were saved, but Asap left behind a giant bloodbath.

***

Meanwhile. Kobi and Asap made their way into a dark alley far away from the commotion and stopped.

"So. Are you ready to tell–"

"Asap power down." Said Kobi

Asap froze in motion; she stared straight and was unresponsive. Kobi then called Rat Cliff.

"Hello. Kobi?"

"Yeah Rat Cliff it's me, mission complete. But we gotta problem."

"What is it?"

"Father John gotta hold to Asap and told her everything, and in the middle of the mission, she wanted to know about her past. It was crazy Rat Cliff, but it was as if she remembered being Ishma."

"Ok Kobi, you need to reset your password, and reprogram her. We still need to find Father John and bring down the Elite. And to do so, we need Asap. I know it pains you to have her this way, but I promise. When our mission is complete, we will walk Asap back into who she used to be. It will take some time. Are you good?"

Kobi wiped the tears from his eyes.

"Yeah, I'm good, man; I just miss my little sister. "

"I know you do, Kobi; you and her make a good team. Do what you must; our next visit may be to the Vatican. And we need to come up with a master plan."

"Ight, on the way."

After Kobi hung up the phone, he summoned Asap to reset. Asap blinked twice and looked around. While Asap was waking up. Kobi noticed the flesh trying to heal on Asap's legs. So he reached into his bag and grabbed an extra pair of pants.

"Kobi Kobi, let's go. We must infiltrate the Window City Bloodline." Said Asap.

"Slow down, slow down, we did already. Here, put these pants on and clean yourself off."

"Wait, what? When? I don't."

"Remember. That's because you stopped the train and all the bad guys; you bumped your head."

"Oh, well, did we win?"

"Hell yeah, we saved the hostages and stopped a speeding train from killing many people. Let's get out of here. Rat Cliff got some more work for us."

"Ok, cool. Hey Kobi."

"What up Asap."

"I love you man."

"I love you too— sis."

"Hey, Kobi. I'm hungry. Can we get something to eat?"

"Bet! what you trying to smash?"

"Some Harold's would be fire; we can grab some wings."

"That sounds like a plan."

"Oh, oh, with lemon pepper."

"Hell yeah. But you know I like garlic pepper on my shit."

"And extra mild sauce."

"Anything you want Asap, it's lit."

Kobi felt guilty lying to her. Half woman half machine. Deep down inside Kobi's little sister Ishma was in there somewhere. The two had a long journey ahead of them. But for now, their reign on corruption must continue. Asap, Kobi, and Rat Cliff are a team, for they are. THE POWER OF THREE.
