Mary Garcia had terminal cancer and was near the end of her 47-year-old life.

She stopped breathing at 3:30 on a Sunday afternoon.

Not only did her personal life flash before her eyes but all of life itself:

The Big Bang erupted in a vast explosion of space and time and matter.

The Big Birth seeded the first multi-cellular life on earth that evolved into fish and rodents and monkeys and apes.

The Big Belief endowed such apes with a symbol-using consciousness and the unique desire to connect with higher powers.

All of this was her full story.
