Thousands of years for what?

By David FerreiraPublished 3 years ago • 3 min read

Once upon a time, in a world brimming with magic and adventure, there existed a renowned swordsman named Kaiden. He possessed unparalleled skill with a blade, able to effortlessly carve through his enemies like a whirlwind. One fateful day, Kaiden found himself mysteriously transported to a realm known as the Tutorial, a dimension specifically designed to train aspiring adventurers.

Confused and disoriented, Kaiden discovered that time moved differently within the Tutorial. What seemed like a brief moment to him was actually equivalent to a single day in the outside world. As he attempted to find an exit, Kaiden soon realized that escaping this peculiar realm would not be as simple as it seemed.

Days turned into weeks, weeks into months, and months into years as Kaiden struggled to overcome the various trials and challenges the Tutorial presented. Every time he thought he had finally found an exit, another obstacle would appear, preventing his escape. Undeterred, Kaiden resolved to make the most of his time, honing his already formidable swordsmanship skills and learning the intricacies of magic and other combat styles.

With each passing day, Kaiden grew stronger, mastering techniques that were previously unknown to him. He absorbed the knowledge of countless books and ancient scrolls scattered throughout the Tutorial. The inhabitants of this realm, who initially viewed him as a newcomer, marveled at his dedication and determination. Kaiden became a legend among them, an unyielding swordsman who persevered against the odds.

As the years turned into decades and the decades into centuries, Kaiden's skills transcended mortal limitations. He had become an indomitable force, a paragon of martial prowess within the confines of the Tutorial. Tales of his exploits spread far and wide, reaching the ears of warriors and mages outside the realm, who eagerly awaited his eventual emergence.

Finally, after ten thousand long years, Kaiden discovered a hidden passage within the Tutorial, leading him to the outside world once more. Stepping out into the sunlight, he marveled at the changes that had taken place in his absence. Kingdoms had risen and fallen, new civilizations had flourished, and countless warriors had come and gone.

Word of his escape quickly spread, and soon Kaiden found himself thrust into a world that had heard only whispers of his legend. Armies and champions sought him out, eager to challenge the fabled swordsman who had spent a millennium perfecting his craft. Kingdoms offered riches, titles, and power, hoping to secure his allegiance.

However, Kaiden remained humble and focused, unwilling to let his newfound fame distract him from his true purpose. He traveled from land to land, engaging in battles with honor and integrity. With each clash of his blade, he proved that his legendary status was well-deserved. His unparalleled skill and the immeasurable knowledge he had gained in the Tutorial made him nigh unbeatable.

As the years passed, Kaiden's name became synonymous with greatness. Legends were told of his battles, songs composed in his honor, and statues erected in his likeness. He became the symbol of martial excellence, inspiring generations of warriors to strive for greatness.

In the twilight of his life, Kaiden retired to a secluded mountaintop, where he passed on his knowledge to a select few disciples. These disciples would go on to become some of the world's greatest swordsmen in their own right, carrying on Kaiden's legacy and ensuring that his teachings would never be forgotten.

And so, the tale of the swordsman who endured the Tutorial for ten thousand years reached its conclusion. Kaiden had transformed from a lost warrior into a legendary figure, the embodiment of the indomitable human spirit. His name would be forever etched
