Amidst the bustling streets of Lagos, a young man named Tunde was born into a poor family. Despite the odds, Tunde was determined to break free from the shackles of poverty. With an unrelenting spirit, he pursued his dreams, trying his hands at various ventures. He sold goods on the streets, worked as a laborer, and even attempted to start his own business. Tunde's hope and resilience were unwavering, but success seemed to elude him. Each failure chipped away at his confidence, leaving him broken and disillusioned. His once vibrant spirit was now a flicker of its former self. Just when Tunde thought things couldn't get worse, disaster struck. A fire ravaged his family's home, leaving them with nothing. The misfortune was the final blow, and Tunde felt like he'd hit rock bottom. As he wandered through the charred remains of his home, Tunde stumbled upon a small, unscathed Bible. A verse caught his eye: "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11) In that moment, Tunde realized that his worth wasn't defined by his failures. He began to rebuild, not just his life, but his faith. And slowly, he discovered that sometimes, it's in the darkest moments that we find the strength to rise again.
