Echos from the woody pond

9:00 P.M.

Awoken by a sudden sound, a sound so loud and startling, Tami couldn't figure out what just woke her out of a dead sleep. She rolled over and grabbed the clock from my bedside table. It read 9:00 A.M. As soon as her feet hit the cold wooden floor, there was another sound. This time it sounded as if it was coming from outside. Tami walks over to the bedroom window. It was hard to see anything out the window. The fog was so thick she could not see anything.

Tami turned toured her bedroom door. As soon as she turned around, she swears she had seen something out of the corner of her eye. Tami shrugged it off and continued to walk downstairs. When she reached the bottom of the steps, the front door was open and, the fall leaves were blowing all into the house.

Tami stopped and looked around to see if she could tell if there was someone in the house. But nothing was missing or moved. Tami walked closer to her door and leaned just enough to look outside. It was dark and, couldn't see anything. Tami reached over to flip the porch light on but, it was not working.

Tami stepped out onto her porch to see if she could see anyone. She heard a noise coming from inside the house. Tami turned around so fast she slipped on the leaves that surrounded her feet. When Tami arose to her feet and noticed her hands were bleeding. She ran to her kitchen to find something so clean and cover the cuts. She wrapped her hands with a towel and ran to the front door to shut it.

Right then, she knew someone was present on her land. Tami was home alone for the first time in months. All she could think was why? Why of all nights does this have to happen to me. Tami started looking for her phone. But it was not downstairs. Tami realized that her phone was in her bedroom.

Tami was scared, walking close to the front door knowing, that someone was trying to mess with her. So she decided to run past the front door and up the stairs to her bedroom. When Tami made it to her bedroom doorway, she stopped and took a quick look around the room. Then Tami ran to her bed and grabbed her phone. Scrolling through her contacts, Tami came across Jen's name. One of her closest friends decided to call Jen.

Jen answered the phone and, Tami could hardly catch her breath. She was breathing so hard into the phone that Jen thought Tami was playing a joke on her. Jen asked if everything was ok? Tami whispered into the phone, please, come over. I think there's someone in the house. I think they are trying to hurt me. Jen immediately said, "yes, I am on my way."

Just as Jen hung the phone, Tami heard another sound coming from outside. As Tami arose off her bed, she could see something out her window this time. The fog was just thin enough to see someone standing by the pond. The pond her parents had placed in her front yard when she had moved in last summer. Tami had to squint to see if she could see who it was but, the pond was too far away.

Tami stood at the window staring. The fog was so thick and made it hard to see anything. She saw lights coming up her driveway. It had to be Jen and, Tami wanted to meet Jen at the door. Tami ran down the stairs and, Jen was at the door by the time Tami made it to the door. Tami let Jen in the house and shut and locked the door quickly behind her. As soon as Jen entered the house, Tami asked if she had seen someone standing by the pond? Jen replied, "NO." Tami replied, "before I saw your headlights coming up my driveway, I saw someone standing by the pond and, I stood at my bedroom window trying to see through the fog."

Tami said soon as you pulled into the driveway, I come downstairs to meet you at the door. Then the figure was gone. I could not see it any longer. Jen and Tami went to the living room window to see if they could see someone. But the fog was still thick in spots.

Jen and Tami went back into the kitchen to Bandage up Tami's hands. Jen found some bandaids and placed them across Tamis cuts. Jen started asking Tami how her hands were all cut up? While they were in the kitchen, the lights started turning on and off. Jen and Tami started looking out all the windows again. Jen said, "there is someone outside." We have to call the police. Jen called the police and, the police said that it was going to take a half-hour for them to get there.

10:00 P.M.

There was a tap on the window. Both Jen and Tami turned around to face each other. They both grabbed hands and walked toured the front door. When they reached the door, Jen and Tami stopped and stood there. As Jen and Tami stood there, there was another tap but, the taping was on the front door. They were so close to the door that when the tapping started, it made them jump.

Tami walked to the door and opened it slowly. When the front door was completely open, they stepped out onto the porch.

They walked out onto the porch and continued to walk toured the pond. While Jen and Tami were walking, they could hear noises all around them. But it wasn't either one of their voices. It sounded like it was coming from the woods and on the other side of the pond.

Jen started walking toured the woods as Tami continued walking to the pond. Neither one of them noticed that they were no longer walking together. Jen made it to the edge of the woods. Jen stood there trying to see through all the brush and trees. The trees and brush were so thick that Jen could not see anything. Jen could only hear the voices. It was almost like the voices were calling out to her.

Jen starts to walk through the underbrush and trees. The further Jen walks into the forest. The louder the noises get. As Jen continues walking through all the underbrush, her feet start to get wet from the dew. The vines and twigs started to make Jen stumble. Before she knew it, Jen was on the ground in the middle of the forest.

When Jen had fallen to her knees and looked up, All Jen saw was a dark forest. Jen started to wonder how she had got there and where did Tami go? Jen stood up and started turning in circles, Trying to find Tami. But she was nowhere to be found.

11:00 P.M.

Tami was standing by the pond, waiting to see if she could see anything. There were no footprints around the pond. There were no signs that anyone but Jen and Tami were there. Tami continued walking around the pond with a confused look on her face. When Tami realized she had been walking in circles for at least an hour, she stopped.

Tami turned around to speak to Jen, but Jen was not there. A man was standing there dressed in an all-black outfit. He grabbed Tami by her throat so she could not scream. The man dressed in black punched Tami in the face and, her body fell limp. The man threw Tami over his shoulder and started walking to the house.

When they reached the house, he placed Tami in a kitchen chair and tied her up. He tapped her mouth shut so Tami could not scream. After he finished tying Tami up, he went back outside to look for Jen. The man in black had to have them both. So he could finish the plains without having to worry about being caught.

Tami had a couple of chairs that sat on her porch all year round and, the man went to sit and wait for Jen to come back to the house. As the man sat on the porch, he started to hear noises coming from inside the house. He went back inside and noticed that Tami had woken up. She was trying to get out of the restraints.

The man went into the house, sat in a chair in front of Tami, and just stared at her. The look in his eyes was a look of death. Tami started to cry. She just knew he was going to kill her. Then Tami noticed that Jen was not in the house with her. The man sat there with this evil look and said nothing to Tami.

12:00 A.M.

Jen was trying to follow her tracks back out the woods. It was hard to do that because of the wind and all the dead leaves in the forest. Jen made it far enough through the woods and was able to see the solar lights from around the house. Jen used those to find her way out of the forest. When she reached the edge of the forest, she fell to her knees.

When Jen stood to her feet, she looked over to the pond to see if Tami was still there. The pond was too far away and, Jen could not see anything. She started walking over to the pond. When Jen reached the pond, she had seen Tami's footprints going in circles around the pond.

Jen had followed the footprints. Until she reached the spot that Tami had been picked up and carried. Jen noticed that it looked like there were more than just Tami's footprints there. Jen realized that Tami was telling the truth. That there was someone else there with them.

Right then, Jen took off toured the house. She was not thinking at all. Jen had to rescue Tami! Jen didn't know if it was a man or a woman, but she ran to the house anyway. Nothing was stopping Jen from saving her best friend's life. When Jen reached the house, she stopped and started to creep up to the windows.

What Jen had seen when she looked through the window shocked her. Jen saw Tami tied to a chair in the kitchen. While what looked like a man sitting in a chair across from her. Now Jen had to find a way into the house without being noticed. Jen knew that it was going to be hard because Tami's house was old. All the doors and windows creaked when opened.

Jen walked around the house into the backyard. That's when Jen saw the storm cellar doors. She knew those doors led into the house from the basement. When Jen reached the doors, there was a lock on them. Right then, Jen thought it was a lost cause. To even try and open those doors but, she tried anyway.

When Jen grabbed the lock, it just fell off from around the door handle. Its only purpose was to make it look locked. Jen slid the lock off the doors and opened the cellar doors slowly. As the doors were fully ajar, Jen tip-toed into the basement. As Jen started down the stairs, it was getting darker the further she went down the stairs.

By the time Jen reached the bottom step and went to step off the last step, she kicked something. It made a loud noise. Jen could only hope that the man that was upstairs didn't hear it. She continued walking through the basement and reached the bottom of the steps that led up into the house.

Jen knew before she entered the house, she had to find something to defend herself. She had seen a flashlight hanging on the wall halfway up the stairs and, Jen grabbed it. She started looking around the basement to find anything that she could use as a weapon, Walking around the basement rummaging through everything. Jen had found a hammer. Jen grabbed the hammer and started for the steps again.

When she reached the basement steps for the second time, she started up them. When Jen reached the top, she stopped and stood at the door to see if she could hear anything. But it was silent! Jen could not hear anything. She tried to open that door, and it was secure too.

Now, what could Jen do? She was unable to get into the house that way. Jen would have to go back outside and find another way.

1:00 A.M.

Meanwhile, Tami was still tied up and could not speak with tape over her mouth. The man stood up and walked toured Tami and Tami started shaking her head back and forth, trying to get out of the restaurants. When the man reached Tami, he leaned slightly extended his hands out toured her. But, before he touched her, he said with his deep and creepy voice, "I am going to take the tape off your mouth and, if you scream, I will punish you."

Tami shook her head as to acknowledge she understood what he was saying. The man then removed the tape from Tami's mouth. The first thing out of Tami's mouth was......"WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME?" WHY ARE YOU AT MY HOUSE? The man sat there and said nothing. Tami continued to ask this man questions. The last thing Tami was able to ask him before he started getting mad was. CAN I ASK YOUR NAME?

That was the only question he answered for Tami. The man said, "my name is Jack," now stop asking me questions so I can think. Jack asked Tami, where is your friend? Tami replied, "what are you talking about?" I am the only one here. Jack said, "don't lie to me," I know there is someone else here." So tell me where she is.

Tami had no clue where Jen was. But Tami would never tell Jack the truth. Tami said," Jen is probably going to get help." The police will be here any moment now. Jack said," you live in the middle of nowhere." By the time help gets here, I will be long gone. Tami started to cry, Not knowing what he wanted or what Jack's intentions were.

When Tami started crying, Jack turned around and backhanded her. He told her to shut up and stop crying. When Jack turned back around, Tami began looking around. She was looking for something to help her get loose and cut the ties Jack had placed on her. While Tami was looking around, she noticed Jen walking past one of the windows.

Tami knew that Jen was going to help her get away from Jack. All Tami had to do was wait and see what Jen had planned. Right as Tami had seen Jen in the window, Jack had turned around toward the same window Tami had seen Jen walking past. Jen had just finished walking past the window by the time Jack had turned toward the window.

Jack had asked Tami again where her friend was? But Tami did not answer this time. Witch made Jack angry, and he grabbed Tami by the hair and started dragging her by her hair from window to window. Jack was trying to see if there were any signs of Tami's friend but, there was no sign of her anywhere. Jack dragged Tami back into the kitchen doorway and placed her where he could see her from any room on the first floor.

Then Jack had gone into the kitchen behind Tami, shut off all the lights, and sat on the floor by the cupboards. He told Tami if she made any noise that she would not live to see the sunrise. So Tami sat there in silance. Waiting for something to change, But there were no changes.

Jack stood up, grabbed the tape from the counter and, placed another piece across Tami's mouth, and then he walked around her and sat right behind her. But he only sat there for a few minutes, then stood up and walked out the back door onto the back porch.

2:00 A.M.

Jen was still waiting and watching from the outside of the house. Jen waited an hour before she saw a chance to get into the house undetected. When she saw the man going out the back door, she thought it was time to make her move. Jen leaped at the chance to get into the house.

Jen walked up to the front door and opened it slowly to make as little sound as possible. When the door was fully ajar, Jen walked into the house and was trying to crawl across the floor over to Tami. Just as Jen was about to Tami, the man walked through the back door. When he had looked up, he caught a glimpse of a head going around the corner.

Tami started making noises and shifting her body back and forth, trying to tip the chair on the side. While Tami was trying to get free, Jen was on the run from the man in black. While Jack chased Jen, Tami managed to tip the chair over and get the tape off her mouth.

Now Tami had to get out of the restraints Jack placed around her hands. It was going to be hard to do this alone. She started looking around for something close to the ground that may be able to cut through the rope.

She noticed there was something in the doorway of the living room. But it was so far away. Tami had to get over to whatever it was so she could save her friend Jen. Tami started scooting across the floor slowly. Inch by inch, Tami began to get closer. Then she heard a loud noise from upstairs. Tami started screaming for Jen. There was no response.

Tami started moving faster. When she had finally reached the doorway, Tami noticed that it was a pocket knife. It must have fallen out of Jack's pocket because she had never seen it before. Tami scooted the chair in a circle and picked up the pocket knife. With her hands tied, cutting the rope wrapped around her wrists was going to be complicated.

3:00 A.M.

While Tami continued sawing through the rope, Jen was hiding under the bed in the guest bedroom. Jack was looking for Jen in every room. He started in the first room he came across. While Jen was under the bed, she started looking around for her phone or even Tami's phone. Jen was going to try and call for help. But there was no phone around her.

Jack was getting closer and closer to the room where Jen was. It was time for Jen to move to another room. Jen wanted to be able to come up behind Jack. Jen emerged from under the bed and moved slowly into the next room connected to the guest room. What Jen didn't know was Jack had not made it to that room yet.

Jen was standing in the bathroom, and Jack opened the door. As soon as Jack opened the bathroom door, he saw Jen. Jack lunged at Jen. Jen still had the hammer in her hands, and she drew it back and hit Jack in the head. Jack started beading, and Jen ran out the bathroom and down the stairs.

Jen ran over to Tami and started helping her get out of her restraints. Jen asked Tami what does this guy want? Why is he here? Tami replied I don't know what he wants. All I know is his name. Jean said that's all he told you? Jen finished releasing Tami from the ropes.

Just as they finished, Jack was at the bottom of the steps. Jen and Tami froze in their place. Not knowing what to do, they both just stood there. Jack was not going to wait for Jen and Tami to make their next move. He started walking closer to them, and when Jack reached Tami and Jen, he grabbed both of them and choked them until they both were limp.

After Jen and Tami were on the floor, Jack tied them both together while they were on the floor. Jen and Tami were on the floor. Jack went back upstairs. Jack began looking in all the dressers and anywhere he could. Jack wanted to make it look like a robbery gone wrong.

4:00 A.M.

Jack was rummaging through everything. He came across a safe that was locked. Jack picked it up and took it downstairs. Jack sat the safe on the floor in front of Tami and told her to give him the code to open it. Tami would not give him the code. Jack told Tami that if she did not give him the code, he would kill Jen.

Jack was getting frustrated with Tami, and she was making him so mad that he was no longer going to be nice to them. Every time Jack didn't get the answer he wanted from Jen and Tami, he started beating them. He was hitting them so much that Jen and Tami were bleeding from their mouths and noses.

There was so much blood that Jen and Tami could hardly see anything. Their faces were starting to swell up around their eyes. Jack was taking his anger out on Jen and Tami. The ropes around their hands loosened. Jen and Tami started whispering to each other.

Jack started talking to himself and hitting himself in the head. He keeps repeating himself over and over. While Jack walked in circles talking to himself, Jen and Tami were finally free and waited for the perfect moment to strike back. Jack turned, facing the front door when Jen and Tami stood up and grabbed the kitchen chair and hit Jack across the back of his head.

Jack fell to the ground, and Jen and Tami stood over him, waiting to see if he would stand back up. Jen asked Tami where her phone was? Tami replied, "it's in my room on the table beside my bed." Jen took off back upstairs to get Tami's phone. During the time Jen was gone, Jack started to come too. Tami started yelling, "Jen, he is waking up, hurry!"

Tami didn't know what to do. Then she realized that her safe was in the kitchen. Tami ran over to her safe and entered the code. As soon as the door popped open, Tami grabbed the gun that was inside the safe. As soon as Tami's hand touched the cold metal handle, Jack was already to his feet.

Tami grabbed the gun and turned around. By the time she had turned around, Jack was right behind her. He grabbed her hands and tried taking the gun from her. Tami was not giving up without a fight. They ended up on the floor fighting for the weapon. While they were rolling around on the ground, the gun went off.

The second the gun went off, Jack and Tami, stop fighting and rolling around on the ground. Tami and Jack stand up, and with their adrenalin running high. Tami didn't realize that the bullet shot her. Jack managed to get the gun from Tami. Shot Tami as soon as the gun was in his hands. When Tami realized she was the one bleeding, she fell to the floor, holding her stomach.

Tami passed out as soon as she saw all the blood. Jack couldn't believe he shot someone. He has never killed anyone before. Jack started pacing back and forth, saying, "why, why did you make me do that? Jack knelt down to Tami and started crying. "I didn't mean to shoot you. I'm sorry, please wake up.

5:00 A.M.

Jen heard the shot from upstairs and started screaming. Jen was in Tami's room looking for her phone. It was not in the table that Tami said it would be on Jen, started to panic. Now, what was she going to do? Jen began looking around the whole room for the phone.

Just as Jen was about to go into the next room to look for the phone, she heard something vibrating. Jen turned around and saw the phone lighting up on the other side of the room. She ran over to the phone and picked it up. Just as Jen was about to answer the phone, it stopped ringing.

Jen grabbed the phone, but she did not know Tami's lock code. She started crying instantly. How is Jen going to make a call? If she can't open the phone? Jen knew that she was going to die too if she didn't figure something out soon.

Jen started trying every pattern she could think of that Tami might use for a code. She started with the house address, then went to Tami's birthday. None of those codes worked. Jen had one more idea. She tried her birthday, the phone unlocked and opened to the home screen.

Jen went to the call log. The last person Tami called was her, so Jen scrolled down to the second number. It was Tami's mom's number. She tapped the scream to choose that number. The phone started to ring then went to voicemail. Jen had to leave a message. If she didn't let someone know that she and Tami were in trouble, then they might not make it through the night.

Tami's mom's voicemail finally went beep, and Jen started leaving a message. She said, " this is Jen. Tami and I are in trouble. There is a guy in the house and is trying to kill us. I think he already killed Tami. Please can you call the police and send them here. As soon as those words exited Jen's mouth, Jack walked into the room.

Jen dropped the phone and started, scooting back toured the wall. The only thing Jen kept saying was, " please don't kill me. I'll do whatever you want." Jack said, stop talking." He walked over to Jen and grabbed her by the arm. Jen jerked away from him and tried to run out of the room. Jack tripped Jen, and she fell to the floor.

Jack walked over to Jen and grabbed her by the hair. He started dragging her down the hall. Jen slips the phone into her pocket while Jack drags Jen by her hair. Jack drug her down the hall and down the steps into the doorway of the living room.

Jack was surprised to see that Tami was no longer on the floor in the kitchen. There was a blood trail leading through the kitchen and out the other doorway out of the kitchen. Jack drug Jen along with him to see if he could find Tami. As Jack walked through the kitchen, fallowing the blood trail. He went to turn the corner, and Tami was standing there with a knife in her hands.

Jack turned the corner and, Tami stabbed him in the chest and told Jen to run. Jen took off running out the front door and down the stairs. Before Jen realized what had just happened, she had turned around and gone back into the house. She couldn't leave her best friend. They had to fight together.

6:00 A.M.

Tami stood over Jack's body after she had stabbed him in the chest. Tami wanted to make sure he was not going to get back up. Tami stood there for a few minutes and then turned to walk out her front door. As Tami was walking to Jen, Jen screamed, run! But before Tami couldn't even register what Jen had just said, Jack shot Tsmi three more times.

Jack was going to make sure he killed her this time. Jack, unable to stand, he army crawled across the floor over to Tami. Jen stood in the doorway in shock. She couldn't believe she watched her friend get shot and die.

Jack pointed the gun at Jen and said, don't move, or I will shoot you too. Jen watched as Tami lay on the floor, gasping for air through every breath she took. After a few minutes, Tami took her last breath, and Jen was scared. She thought Jack was going to kill her too.

Jack stood to his feet and grabbed Jen. He took her over to the chair he had Tami tied to and Tied Jen to the chair. Jack tied Jen's hands behind her back. After Jack finished subduing Jen, he went and sat down.

Jack said everything went wrong tonight. I was not here to kill anyone, and now I killed the only person I loved. Jen said, "how were you in love with Tami. you didn't even know her." Jack said," I have been watching Tami for years now. All I wanted to do was love her. But I can't do that now that I killed her."

While jack sat across from Jen, Jack kept talking to her and telling her how he"s felt about Tami. Jen started to slowly pull the phone out of her back pocket and tried to call 911. Jen could not see the buttons on the phone. Jen had to diel over and over again. Jen tried at least five times before she reached someone.

When Jen heard someone say hello, she turned the volume down and started talking to Jack. Jen asked Jack, why did you Kill Tami in the first place? Jack replied, " I was not trying to kill her. I didn't want her to get away. Jack told Jen, " you were not supposed to be here. It was supposed to be Tami and me alone. Why did you come over to her house so late anyway?"

Jen replied, " Tami called me to come over because she thought someone was in the house, and she was right. It was you this whole time." Jen started to bag for her life, Asking Jack to let her go and not hurt her. Jack said, " I didn't want to hurt anyone. Now that I have hurt Tami, I can't leave any witnesses."

Jen placed the phone back in her pocket and continued to talk to Jack. All Jen wanted him to do was let her go. The longer Jen and Jack sat there. The more Jen realized that Jack was never going to let her go. Jack stood up and walked over to Jen. He walked behind Jen and started to untie her. Jack told Jen to stand up and walk out the door and don't look back.

7:00 A.M.

When Jen stood up, the phone fell onto the floor in front of Jack. He looked down and saw the phone. Jen heard the phone hit the floor, and she started to sweat. Jack was just about to let her go, and Jen messed it up. She took off toward the door.

Jack stopped her before she could even touch the handle. When Jen turned around, Jack was pointing the gun at her. Jen almost peed herself when she saw the gun pointed at her. Jen said the first thing that came to mind. "I'm so sorry Jack," I thought you were going to kill me too, and I just wanted to make sure someone knew where I was. Please don't hurt me. I will leave and not say anything about you."

Jack said," it's too late for any excuses now." Now you tell me who you called? Jen said I don't know who I called. The phone was behind my back, and I could not see what I was dialing. I don't think I even reached anyone.

Jack picked the phone up and said hello, and with amazement, there was someone on the other end of the phone. Jack asked, who is this? But there was no reply. It was so silent you could hear crickets chirping. Jack hung the phone up and walked over to Jen. He told Jen, "I was going to let you go, but now I can't do that."

"I am going to have to kill you. Just can't let you leave now." Jack stood up and said, come over here. Jen stood there with a blank look on her face. Jack said," I will not repeat myself." Jen took two steps toward Jack, then turned around and took off running. Jen was not going to stop running until she was far enough away from the house.

Jack took off after Jen. When Jen reached the edge of the woods, she stopped and looked around. Jack was following her. He was almost right behind Jen, then Jack stepped into a hole in the ground and fell.

The sun was coming up, and Jen said," the night is over, and I am still running from this guy." I hope someone is coming to save me. Jen ran so far into the woods she could not see the house anymore. Jen turned around, looking to see if Jack was following her. Jack was nowhere in sight.

Jen stopped running and started walking back toured the house. Jen was about to the edge of the woods when she had stopped. She stood there and watched the house. Jen couldn't see Jack anywhere. But she didn't want to come out of the woods until she was sure Jack was nowhere to around the house.

8:00 A.M.

After Jack fell into the hole in the yard, he turned around and went back to the house. Jack went to clean up the house before anyone came to help the girls. Jack could only hope it was not the cops about to show up.

When Jack finished cleaning up all the blood, he heard someone pull into the driveway. Jack stopped and went to the front window to see who it was. It was the police. Jack started to scramble around the house. He didn't know what to do. Jack pulled the gun from his belt and yelled out the door. " Don't come any closer or, I'll shoot."

While the police sit outside, trying to figure out what to do next. Jack is inside the house, working on a way out of this situation. Jack began to plan his escape. He knew the only way out of all this, is to kill himself. That was the last thing Jack wanted to do. But he was not going to stay in prison for the rest of his life.

The police continued talking to Jack from outside, Not attempting to go into the house. They didn't know if anyone in the house was still alive or not. The police didn't even know if Jack even had anyone in the house with him. They were not going to take any chances.

Jack sat down at the table in the living room and started writing a letter. This letter was going to be the last thing he had ever written. So he wanted it to explain everything that happened tonight.

Jack was not going to leave anything out. Every little detail was going into this letter.

Jack began his letter, and then he heard something strange going on outside. Jack stood up and walked over to the back door, and looked out. He saw the police surrounding the house. Now there was defiantly no getting out of this house alive. Jack started yelling, don't come any closer to this house. I will shoot!

Jack went back to the table and began writing his letter again.

" DEAR TAMI,

I AM SORRY FOR EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENED TONIGHT. ALL I WANTED TO DO WAS CONFESS MY LOVE FOR YOU. I HAVE BEEN WATCHING YOU FOR MANY MONTHS NOW, AND I WANTED TO BE WITH YOU. I WANTED TO LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER. LIKE THEY DO IN THE MOVIES. I NEVER MEANT TO HURT YOU.

9:00 A.M.

Jen saw the police outside the house, and she started to come out of the woods. Jen started running toward the police screaming for help. When Jen was almost to the police, she started walking.

The police saw Jen and ran to her with a warm blanket. They walked her over to a police car and started asking her questions. Jen began to answer everything they asked. Then it began to be too much all at once. Jen told the police, my friend died in the house. I would have died tonight if I hadn't have gotten out of the house when I did.

Jen continued telling the police the things they wanted to know. While answering their question's she was asking her own. Jen finally started demanding things from the police. The only thing Jen wanted was the police to get Tami out of the house, away from that crazy man.

The night was over, and Jen was still dealing with this guy. Jen just wanted the night to be over. Jen was tired and wanted to go lay down. It had been a long night, But the night was not over yet. Jen had many hours to go. So she thought.

The police finished asking Jen questions. They began to get in their places to breach the house. Not knowing what Jack was going to do, the police took their time. Every few minutes, the police would start getting closer to breaching the house.

The police started talking over the loudspeaker to Jack. They were trying to get Jack to surrender, But Jack was not giving up so easily. Jack was not going to go out without a fight.

10:00 A.M.

Jack finished writing the letter to Tami now he had to write another letter. This letter was going to be a suicide letter. He grabbed another sheet of paper and another pen. Before he started to write the letter, he went to check all the windows. He wanted to make sure the police were not about to break down the door.

When Jack made it to the window, he saw the police about to be on the porch. Jack opened the window and said," if you take another step, I will kill myself! Jack then showed the police the gun, so they knew he was telling the truth. Jack closed the window and went back to writing his letter.

I'M SORRY,

I WANT TO TELL MY FAMILY THAT I LOVE THEM. I NEVER MEANT TO HURT ANYONE. I LOVE TAMI, AND I WANTED TO SPEND MY LIFE WITH HER. I WATCHED HER FOR MANY YEARS. JEN MESSED IT ALL UP WHEN SHE CAME TO THIS HOUSE. I WANT JEN TO KNOW THIS IS ALL HER FAULT. NONE OF THIS WOULD HAVE HAPPENED. IF SHE STAYED AWAY. BUT NO, JEN HAD TO COME AND MESS EVERYTHING UP. I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT TAMI. I AM GOING TO JOIN HER IN HEAVEN, AND WE WILL LIVE HAPPILY. I'M SORRY FOR HURTING TAMI. I WAS NOT THINKING ABOUT WHAT I WAS DOING UNTIL IT WAS ALREADY DONE AND OVER.

This letter took no longer than five minutes to write. When Jack finished, he placed his letter on the counter, walked over to Tami, and placed That letter in her lap. Jack kissed Tami on her head. While he was saying his goodbyes to Tami, he began to cry. One tear rolled off his cheek and fell onto Tami's face. He wiped it off and went back into the kitchen.

Jack started to cry even more, and then he pointed the gun he had in his mouth. His hands began to tremble. Jack closed his eyes puts pressure on the trigger. But Jack was unable to pull the trigger. Jack let go of the trigger and dropped the gun to his side. Tears were just rolling off his face. Sitting there, taking his time ending everything, Jack puts the gun in his mouth once again.

11:00 A.M.

The police step up onto the porch as quietly as they can be. Placing a thick closed pipe with handles against the door, and it bashes through the door. The door lands hard on the floor, and Jack jumps. It was unexpected, and when Jack jumped, the gun went off in Jack's hand and blew a hole in his head. There was brain matter everywhere.

The police enter the house and start checking every room one by one. The first team heads up the stairs the second team heads in to clear the downstairs. Both teams are on the hunt to find anyone else in the house. They don't want any surprises.

The second team clears the first floor and half the team head into the basement. Meanwhile, half of the second team stays on the first floor to check and see if Jack is alive or dead. As the police check Jack to see if he has a pulse, the first team screams down from upstairs, " ALL CLEAR."

The police started talking amongst each other, and the cop that checked Jack to see if he was alive said, "we have a faint pulse here." The cop yelled for the paramedics to come in and take care of Jack. The paramedics rushed into the house and began working on Jack. They placed his body on a gurney and hauled him out of the house and into the ambulance.

As they were exiting the house, there was a yell from in the basement. It was the other half of the team yelling that they found a body. Those cops also called the paramedics to come to check the body. They went down the stairs into the basement. When they reached the crime scene, the paramedic began checking to see if there was a pulse. There was no pulse!

The paramedic stood from his squatted position and looked at the police officers shook his head NO. The officer grabbed a white sheet and covered the body. They exited the basement of the house. They were talking amongst each other, and Jen over-herd them.

12:00 P.M.

Jen watched as the police went in and out of the house, listening to everything they said. Jen was not going to miss anything. She wanted to make sure that they knew everything and found everything. Jen was not going to let Jack get away with anything that happened tonight.

Jean watched as they brought Jack on a gurney and put him in the back of the ambulance. She couldn't believe that he was still alive. Jen ran over to Jack as the paramedics tried to rush and get Jack's body into the ambulance. Jen was making it hard for them to finish their jobs.

Jen stood there yelling," I HOPE YOU DIE, YOU DON'T DESERVE TO LIVE AFTER WHAT YOU PUT US THROUGH. I WILL NEVER FORGET WHAT YOU DID." Then she spat on him as they were securing the bed in the back of the ambulance. Jen thought it was unreal that he was still even a little bit alive. Jen hoped that he died in the house.

When Jen finished acting irate and belligerent toured Jack, she overheard the police saying they found another body in the house. Jen began to sob after hearing the police say there was " A BODY!" She knew it was Tami. Jen began to scream, " He killed her." Send him to jail!

Jen started to run toured the house. She wanted to see Tami, and nothing was going to stop her. Jen ran into the house looking for Tami. The police would not let Jen get any further than the front door. There was no way the police were letting Jen down into the basement where Tami's body was.

Jen stopped trying to get into the house all way, and she stood there waiting for them to bring her body out of the basement. The second ambulance pulled into the driveway, and Jen started to break down again. She fell to the ground and held her body like it was the end of the world.

When the paramedics were walking up to the house, they had a body bag in their hands. Jen knew that Tami was dead in that house with Jack. Jen would never speak or see Tami again. Jack took everything away from her. Jen would make sure she put Jack in jail for the rest of his life if he didn't die already.

When the paramedics walked past Jen with Tami's body, Jen began to cry again. This moment would never leave her memory. Jen followed the paramedics down the steps and to the ambulance. She watched as they placed her body in the back and closed the doors. Jen wanted to follow them where ever they were taking her.

The police finished asking Jen questions and told Jen she could leave now. Jen went and got into her car and just sat there. She didn't know where to go or what to do. Jen could only sit there and watch the police going in and out of the house. Jen sat there for hours doing nothing but watching. It was the only thing she could do.

1:00 P.M.

After Jen sat there for hours, she lifted her head and started her car. Jen pulls out of the driveway, heads to the hospital. Jen was going to get revenge. Jen was not going to let Jack get away with any of this.

Jen parked her car in the hospital parking lot. When Jen exits her car, she looks around to see if anyone saw her. There was not a person in sight. Jen goes into the hospital. When Jen enters the hospital, she walks straight to the front desk. Asked what room did they put the guy brought in an ambulance tonight. Jen said I believe his name is Jack.

The receptionist asked no questions and started looking up anyone by the name of Jack. The receptionist answers Jen's question with a room number, "112." Jen took off toured that room. She didn't know what she was going to do, but nothing was stopping her.

When Jen found the room, she stood there in the doorway and stared at Jack. Jen walked over to Jack's bed and grabbed a pillow from behind Jack's head, and placed it over his face, and began to smother him. Jack did nothing. He lay there heavily sedated, not knowing what was going on.

Jack was dying slowly, and he didn't know anything. When Jen finished, she took off out of the hospital. When she made it to her car, she stopped and stood there in a daze. She thought to herself, " what did I just do?" Now Jen had to run. If she didn't, then she would go to jail.

Jen got into her car and started it. Jen put the can into gear and pulled off. When Jen reached the end of the parking lot, Jen stopped. Where would she go with no money? Jen went home to shower and change her clothes. While Jen was picking an outfit, she grabbed her to-go bag and started to pack it with all her clothes.

When she finished packing, Jen grabbed her keys and drove to the bank. There was no way she was going to get far away if she had no money. After Jen withdrew all the money out of her account, she got back in her car.

Jen began heading out of town. When she was far enough away, Jen made one last call. This call would be to the police station. Jen had to make it look like she was still concerned about her friend. Jen asked the police what they were going to do to Jack? When the police station told Jen that Jack was dead, she acted surprised.

When Jen hung the phone up, she pushed harder on the gas peddle and drove right out of town. As soon as Jen saw the sign that said she was leaving the state, her stress level went down, and Jen sat back and was relaxed. Jen headed out of the country. Jen said to herself, I am going to be happy and never come back here.

2:00 P.M.

Jen moved to Mexico and started a new life. She got a new identity, new friends, and a new place to live. Jen began all over, and she loved every minute of it. Jen was living for her friend now, and that would never end.
