-CUT TO: A change in direction and/or to a character in the same scene/area.

-CUT SCENE: A change in location and characters.

-SLUG LINE: Occurs at the start of every scene and typically contains three pieces of information: whether the scene is set inside (interior/INT.) or outside (exterior/EXT.), the specific location, and the time of day.

-PARENTHETICAL: Occurs when a character delivers dialogue in certain emotion. It should be located underneath the start of a character’s dialogue in parenthesis.

DWELLING MALEVOLENCE

Terror has been taking place in Fox City. A series of recent bizarre incidents have been reported due to what the locals are rumored to believe was caused by an outbreak. A profound special police force known as T.R.A.S.S. (Tactical Reconnaissance and Salvage Squadron) were immediately sent into action. A specific division of T.R.A.S.S. known as the Beta-Blue team was sent to a designated area in Fox City's forest, just outside the city limits, in call of several disturbances. Several hours after the team's touchdown in Fox City's forest, T.R.A.S.S. headquarters lost contact with the Beta-Blue team. A second unit was sent in to investigate the loss of communication with the B.B.T. The second unit was known as the Beta-Red team which consisted of five officers: Matt Grady, Alexa Cunningham, William Wright, Jason Creed, and squad leader Tobias Richardson. Little did they know a terrifying horror and mystery awaits them...

EXT. SKY--FOX CITY--NIGHT

The sky is pitch-black as Beta-Red team's helicopter scores the ground from above pre-entering Fox City. Through B.R.T.'s vision of sight, they notice a huge mound of smoke coming from a particular section of a creepy forest below. Beta-Red team's helicopter scours down for a closer view. To their understanding, it looks like Beta-Blue team's helicopter was beneath the smoke and from the disaster it looks like they made a crash landing.

EXT. FOREST--FOX CITY--NIGHT

Beta-Red team's helicopter lands just outside the forest and the unit decided to get out and investigate Beta-Blue team's crash site.

INT. FOREST--FOX CITY--NIGHT

Beta-Red team enters the dingy forest and scouts the crash site but there is no one to be found. They closely investigate the forest area around the crash but there was still no sign of any survivors from the Beta-Blue team. Creepy noises arose from the dark forest making Beta-Red team quite nervous on their search. Tobias, William, and Matt investigate further on in a different direction from Alexa and Jason. Then suddenly, Jason discovers a gun in the bushes.

JASON

(SHOCKINGLY)

Hey, hey, I found something...

Jason slowly pulls the gun out of the bushes to discover that there is a bloody bitten off hand still attached to it.

JASON (CONT'D)

(SHOUTING)

Oh shit, I don't believe this!

Jason rapidly tosses the gun with the bloody hand in total disgust and shock. Alexa quickly runs to Jason's aid.

ALEXA

(SURPRISINGLY)

What happened?

All at once, growling and snarling noises started to penetrate the ears of Alexa and Jason.

CUT TO:

While William and Tobias scout the area in close proximity with Matt, they notice a series of deadly howls coming from deep in the forest. Matt shouts for the safety of Alexa.

MATT

(SHOUTING)

Alexa! Where are you?

CUT TO:

ALEXA

(SHOUTING)

Matt, we're over here!

Abruptly out of the darkness, a vicious mutated-looking wolf jumps out and attacks Jason knocking him to the ground.

JASON

(SCREAMING)

Ahhhhhh!

ALEXA

(SHOUTING)

JASON!

While Jason struggles with the monstrous animal, Alexa quickly pulls out her 9mm R.A.C. (Ruger American Compact) pistol from her holster and unloads four consecutive rounds off into the terrifying beast. Jason quickly pushes the dead creature off of him while crawling backwards with his hands and feet.

JASON

(SCREAMING)

What the hell was that?

ALEXA

It looked like a wolf!

JASON

(SHOUTING)

That wasn't no fucking wolf I've ever seen! That was a goddamn grizzly bear!

Matt, William, and Tobias immediately run to Alexa and Jason's aid.

WILLIAM

What in God’s name happened?

Tobias kneels down to investigate the animal corpse. Tobias notices that the wolf creature looks everything but normal. The creature had huge paws with razor sharp claws, elongated teeth much larger than a normal wolf, a buffed torso and lesions all over its body.

TOBIAS

It looks like this wolf was infected with some type of disease.

JASON

(DISGUSTED)

Aw shit, I hope I'm not infected now because that damn thing was all over me.

ALEXA

We should try to find some more clues while we're still out here and before there's more trouble.

JASON

I mean the Blue team would have called in or something by now, right? How can they just disappear like that?

WILLIAM

Well, we're not going to find any clues just standing here.

In the heat of the moment, heavy wind started to blow, and the creepy noises continued to get worse. Without warning, everyone starts to hear fast pace panting in the high grass of what appears to sound like several run-away antelope.

MATT

(NERVOUS)

Do you guys hear that? Something's coming!

JASON

Aw shit, now what?

TOBIAS

(LOUDLY)

Everyone....run...NOW!

The team race forward alongside each other in the dark and misty forest. Looking back occasionally, they are eager to find out what is chasing them. In suspense, they find themselves trying to outrun more hungry-mutated wolves. The team is trying their best to move as fast as possible through the gloomy forest until one of the wolves get close.

JASON

(SHOUTING)

Holy shit! I got one on my ass!

One hungry wolf reel in close to Jason getting ready to attack. Just as the wolf hurls itself to pounce on Jason, Matt stops running in mid-stride then turns around and fires off three quick rounds from his 9mm Glock 17 as the wolf is in midair. The penetrated wolf drops dead face first to the ground.

WILLIAM

(SHOUTING)

Matt, keep running!

MATT

(SHOUTING)

I'm right behind you!

Continuing to run extremely fast as the deadly wolves are closing in, Alexa, Tobias, and Jason pull out their pistols and start to fire off shots behind them at the wolves in the distance as they're running.

JASON

(SHOUTING)

We got you covered Matt, let's move!

As the team is running and shooting, Alexa notices something ahead in the mist of the forest.

ALEXA

(SHOUTING)

I see something big up ahead!

WILLIAM

(SHOUTING)

It looks like a cabin! Hurry, everyone inside!

As everyone heads for the cabin, Jason trips and falls hard to the ground.

JASON

(SHOUTING IN PAIN)

FUCK! My leg!

Matt hears Jason cry and immediately stops to turn around while simultaneously without remorse firing off his entire clip of bullets from his 9mm Glock 17 at the infected wolves. Alexa, Tobias, and William were still running ahead not really noticing that Jason and Matt fell behind in the heat of the moment and the loud gunfire.

Then, Alexa looks back to finally notice Jason falling victim to the wolves and Matt trying to shoot them off. Alexa instantly stops running.

ALEXA

(SHOUTING DESPERATELY)

MATT!

MATT

(SHOUTING)

Just keep running towards that cabin!

Alexa continues to run falling short behind William and Tobias.

TOBIAS

(LOUDLY)

We're here, everyone inside quickly!

INT. CABIN--FOX CITY FOREST--NIGHT

Alexa, Tobias, and William make it inside the cabin.

ALEXA

(ANXIOUSLY)

I have to go back out there and get them! Matt is....

Tobias locks the front door to the cabin from the inside and forbids Alexa or William to go back outside in that terror. The team can promptly hear rain and thunder starting to occur outside.

TOBIAS

I am the squad commander. I can’t allow either of you to go back outside and put your lives at risk.

WILLIAM

But that's Jason and Matt we're talking about here!

TOBIAS

I'm sorry, I can't allow it. Hopefully, they can survive and find another way inside.

ALEXA

(DEMANDING)

I'm going back out to get them!

Alexa deliberately tries to disobey a direct order from Tobias and approaches the front door to go back outside. In an instant, Tobias draws his .40 Caliber Glock 22 and points it at Alexa right in her face and threatens her.

TOBIAS

I will not allow you to put our lives in jeopardy, so if you open that door, I will shoot you before those wolves could ever get the chance to attack you. Is that understood?

William quickly pulls Alexa back from the door as she stares down Tobias with a frustrated dirty look.

TOBIAS (CONT'D)

Now, we're here to do a job and that is to find and secure the Beta-Blue team and infiltrate Fox City with little to no injuries. It’s very dim in here but this cabin looks enormous. It might be best if we split up and look for the other team that way.

William looks at Tobias in puzzlement and Alexa looks viciously at him breathing heavily. Tobias swivels his head and notices several doors as the team stands at the main entrance of the cabin.

TOBIAS (CONT'D)

First things first, it appears to be several doors on this floor, so we'll start by securing this floor. Alexa, I want you to investigate that first room over there to the left.

William, I want you to check out that second door over there to the right. I'll stay here just in case Matt or Jason comes to this front door. I'll wait for you guys to report back to me.

WILLIAM

I'm sorry Tobias but I have to protect Alexa with everything I've got and there is no way that I will let her wander off investigating alone in a place as big as this. With your permission, I would like to go with her.

Tobias sighs with disappointment.

TOBIAS

Fine, go with her but don't be a hero. We don't know what to expect here. So, if you come across any danger you run like hell back here to the main entrance. I'll be here waiting.

WILLIAM

Understood!

William and Alexa start to approach the entrance of the door to the left.

TOBIAS

If you find any evidence leading to the disappearance of the Beta-Blue team, make sure you come get me first!

William and Alexa walk slowly to the room on the first floor to their left. William and Alexa already had their weapons out and quietly walk inside.

INT. FIRST FLOOR ROOM 1--CABIN--NIGHT

ALEXA

I really can't believe Tobias wouldn't let us go back outside and get them.

WILLIAM

Relax Alexa; don't let him get to you.

ALEXA

But you know as well as I do that, they might still be alive out there William!

WILLIAM

I know, but I definitely wouldn't disobey a person that has a gun in my face threatening to shoot me. You do have something to live for you know.

The room is filled with an eerie presence. The room resembles a dining hall with a large table in the center with endless chairs. The fireplace fills the room with warmth as the old grandfather clock ticks. There is a grand view from this area where you can look straight up to the second and third floors. Alexa and William quietly investigate the huge room further. William walks over to the fireplace and notices a pool of some kind of green liquid.

WILLIAM

What is this?

Alexa quickly comes to join William as he's kneeling down next to the puddle.

WILLIAM (CONT'D)

(SHOCKED)

It feels and looks like blood, but why is it green?

ALEXA

(SHOCKED)

Oh my God!

WILLIAM

Alexa, investigate this room a little closer for clues while I think a minute and take a sample of this green substance.

ALEXA

Got it!

Alexa puts her gun back in her holster and slowly investigates the room even further noticing a corner table with a pretty red vase, the freshly burning candles on the big center table, and the marvelous chandelier hanging up to the roof above the third floor. Alexa notices that there is another door, so while William continues to investigate the liquid on the floor, she decides to quietly proceed into the next room.

INT. FIRST FLOOR ROOM 2--CABIN--NIGHT

Alexa silently creeps through the entrance hearing nothing but complete silence noticing that there are more doors to explore. As she fully comes in the room, she notices that she is face to face against a wall in a dark narrow hallway connecting three other doors to her immediate right. To the left of her she notices a dim light coming from just around a corner. With not much space to maneuver, she quietly goes to investigate the light when all of a sudden, she hears a disturbing sound. She stops cautiously to pay close attention to the sound of disgusting vigorous chewing noises. Alexa pulls out her 9mm Ruger and calmly proceeds around the corner to find what looks like a man eating another specimen on the ground with blood everywhere. She then notices that the active specimen who's eating the other corpse is slightly deformed in its appearance. Its clothes were ripped and torn, the back of its head looked dingy, and pale covered in infection sores with protruding veins, and its bare feet had lesions and blisters on them. Alexa was a little terrified, but she addressed the man in an arresting manner. Alexa points her gun.

ALEXA

(FORCEFULLY)

Freeze! Don't move. Now, slowly get up, turn around and put your hands on your head.

The man casually stops eating, turns his head and looks directly at Alexa with a creepy scandalous snarl. At that moment, Alexa quickly realizes that this thing is not a normal man. Its pupils were dilated with bloody scars on its face, its ears were missing, and its teeth were seriously rotten and razor sharp. Alexa noticed that this thing resembled something like a reanimated living human corpse with wolf like characteristics. Something of an insidious human-like animal. The creature slowly gets up with countless snarling sounds and starts to walk leisurely towards Alexa with its arms out to grab her. Alexa is frozen stiff with her gun in her hand pointed at the creature, but she haltingly walks back avoiding contact. Without looking, she slowly opens the door to the room she came out of.

INT. FIRST FLOOR ROOM 1--CABIN--NIGHT

While the creature follows her progressively, she continues to gradually walk backwards through the room trying to get close to William. William immediately notices Alexa walking backwards in the room slowly.

WILLIAM

(SHOCKINGLY)

Alexa, what's the matter?

Alexa tries to reply stumbling over her words.

ALEXA

(TERRIFIED)

It's....it's a.....

Alexa then trips and falls to the ground with the creature in front of her just seconds away from grabbing her. William notices the creature walking in.

WILLIAM

(SURPRISINGLY)

What the hell?

While still on the ground, Alexa successfully crawls to William's feet. William points his .50 Caliber Dessert Eagle at the creature.

WILLIAM (CONT'D)

(SHOUTING)

One more step you lunatic and I'll shoot you dead!

The creature unconsciously ignores William and nonchalantly continues forward to grab them.

WILLIAM (CONT'D)

(SHOUTING)

Alright, here we go!

William fires his .50 Caliber once towards the creature’s foot blowing it completely off. The creature falls down to the ground. William fires another round to the shoulder knocking the creature back plunging the ground face first.

WILLIAM (CONT'D)

Damn, that was close!

With the creature on the ground assumed lifeless, William holsters his gun. Suddenly, the creature snarls and bit by bit tries to stand back up with one foot remaining.

ALEXA

(SCARED)

IT'S GETTING BACK UP!

WILLIAM

(SHOCKINGLY)

What the hell are you?

The creature continues to gradually pursue William and Alexa. William takes his gun back out then shoots his Desert Eagle once more in the creature's opposite shoulder but this time completely blowing its arm off. The creature stumbles back, pauses, and snarls angrily. The creature slowly continues forward. Finally, William points his gun directly at the monster's face, pulls the trigger, and completely shatters the creature's head. Blood and brain matter explode hitting the floor, walls and objects around. The creature's body falls flat to the ground without another movement.

ALEXA

(DISTURBED)

I don't believe what I just saw. You shot it twice and it still wasn't dead!

WILLIAM

Don't forget, I kept shooting until I finally blew its damn head off! What was that thing?

ALEXA

Nothing I have ever seen before. We have to hurry back and tell Tobias!

William and Alexa race through the door leading to the main entrance of the cabin where they left Tobias.

INT. FIRST FLOOR MAIN ENTRANCE--CABIN--NIGHT

WILLIAM

(CONFUSED)

Where did he go? Where's Tobias?

ALEXA

(CONFUSED)

I don't know.

William and Alexa try to use their communication radios but are getting nothing but static.

ALEXA (CONT’D)

(CONFUSED)

[USING COMM.RADIO]

Tobias come in……Tobias can you hear me? Damn no answer!

WILLIAM

(SHOUTING IN SEARCH)

TOBIAS...TOBIAS WHERE ARE YOU?

Alexa and William are now baffled at the disappearance of their squad leader Tobias curiously wondering where did he go? They both try to figure out a plan of action towards what they are going to do next.

CUT SCENE:

Somewhere else deep inside the cabin....

Janel Lockett of the T.R.A.S.S. Beta-Blue team is kneeling down to assist Xavier Kimble in his agony; another Beta-Blue team member. He is lying on the ground face up with a shotgun in his hand and bleeding continuously with a humongous bite mark across his entire torso.

JANEL

(SCARED)

For goodness sake Xavier! I can't believe the size if this wound!

XAVIER

(IN PAIN; GASPING FOR AIR)

I know.... that thing came out of nowhere....I... I tried to shoot it down but that giant....

Xavier is in great pain while he tries to explain the situation to Janel.

JANEL

Its ok Xavier, I'm here with you.

XAVIER

(IN PAIN; GASPING FOR AIR)

It....it bit me so fast....

JANEL

(IN SHOCK)

What was it, Xavier?

XAVIER

(IN PAIN; GASPING FOR AIR)

It was a....it was...a.....uuhhh

Xavier passes out.

JANEL

(SHOUTING IN AGONY)

XAVIER!!!

Xavier dies on the spot in Janel's arms. Janel is in total shock and distress while still clueless as to what was it that had bitten Xavier.

CUT SCENE:

EXT. PATIO TERRACE--CABIN--NIGHT

Matt and Jason evaded the massacre of the wolves. They escaped into a three-way shed through the iron gates of some kind of patio in the back of the huge 3-story cabin. Behind each room, one door in which they came through, another door leading to somewhere unknown, and one more door leading into the cabin. Jason kneels to the ground with minor injuries. Matt puts his pistol on the ground and kneels down to recover Jason from the bite marks on his leg leading to excessive bleeding. Matt takes out his first aid kit and assists Jason.

MATT

(BREATHING HEAVILY)

Jason, are you alright?

JASON

(IN PAIN)

Yeah....that fucking wolf dog bit me! I'll be fine.

MATT

Here let me help you. I can bandage this right up to stop the bleeding.

JASON

This is just a flesh wound.

Meanwhile, behind one of the doors in the shed, Matt could hear someone talking. There were two voices, and the sound was muffled and hard to recognize.

MATT

(CURIOUSLY SURPRISED)

Wait a minute Jason, shhhh; I can hear someone talking.

UNKNOWN PERSON

You need to finish off the rest of the Beta-Blue team, and then get rid of these newcomers secretly. Make it look like an accident and also, unleash Project-X3.

Matt listens closely to the door and then out of the blue he recognizes one of the voices.

MATT

(PUZZLED)

Could it be?

JASON

What is it, Matt?

MATT

(CURIOUSLY SHOCKED)

They’re gone now but whoever that was is trying to kill us all and make it look like an accident. They’re trying to make sure we don’t leave here alive!

JASON

Ok, well, we’ll just be sure to fuck them before they get the chance to fuck us!

MATT

(CONFUSED)

But…but.

JASON

What is it?

MATT

(CONFUSED)

That voice…? It sounded like Tobias!

CUT SCENE:

Alexa wants to separate and look for Tobias, but William doesn’t think that will be a good idea.

ALEXA

Maybe we should split up and look for Tobias. Even though I am a little nervous, I think we could cover more ground that way.

WILLIAM

I definitely think that is a bad idea. After that creature we just saw…I’m not letting you out of my sight! Let’s head upstairs to the second floor and check out those rooms.

William and Alexa head upstairs to the second floor in the main entrance.

INT. SECOND FLOOR MAIN ENTRANCE--CABIN--NIGHT

William and Alexa are still clueless on where to look first to find their lost leader. On the second floor in the main entrance, they notice three doors. The door on the right really stood out because it was painted like a ruby red maroon color. The other two doors on the left were normal wooden tan room doors as a cabin should have. So, Alexa and William decided to investigate the room with the odd color.

WILLIAM

Alexa let’s try that room over there.

ALEXA

It looks rather strange don’t you think?

WILLIAM

Yea, but like I said, you’re not getting out of my sight so the best way to make sure that you are safe is for you to stick by my side.

ALEXA

(HUMORUSLY)

Well Mr. Big Shot, I guess we better take a look together then.

Alexa gets her 9mm Ruger ready while William strengthens his grip on the .50 Caliber D.E. and they both little by little enter the weird red door room to the right.

INT. SECOND FLOOR ROOM 1--CABIN--NIGHT

They both inaudibly enter in the room onto what seems to be a high-rise platform of some sort. They are typically still inside the cabin but now they’re outside on a balcony with a striking view of the open forest. The sound of howling noises and sinister chirping fill the area with terror. With no windows, and nothing between them and the outskirts of the eerie woods except an unstable railing, they both respond with caution. Something doesn’t seem right with this picture and before they could walk a few steps further, William smells a terrible odor.

WILLIAM

(DISGUSTED)

Aw man, Alexa, do you smell that?

ALEXA

(DISGUSTED)

Yeah William, that smells awful! Wait…there’s something on the other side of the balcony!

William and Alexa unhurriedly pace themselves to the other end of the balcony to find a musky dead human body lying in the corner on the veranda.

ALEXA (CONT’D)

(SHOCKED)

Oh God!

William at a snail's pace walks over to the bloody dead corpse and returns his gun to his holster. He kneels down to investigate when he notices that the body looked like it had been melted on one side with something. Also, numerous of tiny holes had burst through the body from the inside spilling blood everywhere.

This was very bizarre. The corpse was so pierced and ruptured that William couldn’t identify the body. The only thing that William confirmed about the figure was that it was a male.

WILLIAM

I wonder if this person was a member of the Beta-Blue team.

ALEXA

(STARTLED)

I’m not sure William but we have to find Tobias and get the hell out of here! That’s two dead bodies that I’ve seen now William!

WILLIAM

This is definitely getting weird, and we must proceed with caution.

As William tends to get up, Alexa notices that the dead body has a large weapon in its hand.

ALEXA

William, what’s that in his hand? It looks like one of those portable antitank arsenal weapons but it’s smaller than normal.

WILLIAM

(HAPPILY SHOCKED)

I believe it’s a hand-grenade launcher! I’d like to call myself a gun expert and from the looks of it I can tell it’s unique. I would like to think it’s a Double-barrel Colt M203 made into a pistol frame. Let’s take it with us just in case we might find it useful. Let’s get out of here!

William takes the unique pistol off the corpse and straps it on himself then straight away gets ready to leave the upper circle area. Surprisingly, William slips on the bloody floor next to the dead body and falls into the railing. He knocked the fixture out of place leaving him tumbling slightly over the edge as he bumped Alexa knocking her pistol down.

ALEXA

(SHOCKINGLY SCARED)

WILLIAM!!

While William barely hangs on to the ledge without falling off, Alexa harshly grabs him to help him over. She’s struggling because William is a heavier solid type of guy.

ALEXA (CONT’D)

(SHOCKINGLY SCARED)

Just hold on William!

WILLIAM

(STRUGGLING)

I’m…trying to.

Through the mixture of the loud noises that they have caused, they have now alerted and startled a school of bats nearby. These bats were large, black and they had damp glinting yellow eyes with sores on their bodies. The bats teeth and claws were bigger than normal, and they looked deformed. The bats started making sounds and flying all around Alexa and William trying to attack.

WILLIAM (CONT’D)

(SHOUTING SHOCKINGLY)

Alexa watch out!

ALEXA

(SCARED)

I can’t pull you up William!

Struggling to pull William up with both hands, Alexa cries in agony. Alexa screams and the bats continue to forcefully attack.

ALEXA (CONT’D)

(TERRORIZED)

AHHHH!

Alexa retreats one of her helping hands from William to grab her 9mm Ruger. With more pressure applied to her arm and upper body because of William’s weight, Alexa tries to shoot the bats. Alexa starts firing off rounds into the sky at the bats. The bats scatter all around but still persistent in attacking.

WILLIAM

(DISTRESSED)

Pull me up Alexa so I can help you!

ALEXA

(SCARED)

I can’t!

Alexa is slowly slipping over the edge because William is too heavy, and she is only holding on to him with one hand. Beneath William’s fall is a small iron spiked gate plus an impacted fall that he might not survive. Without warning, someone kicks down the door to the balcony. The mystery person quickly fires eleven compulsive consecutive rounds in the air at the bats. This person must be a marksman because they shot down most of the bats and the rest fled away.

UNKNOWN PERSON

Let me help you guys!

The unknown savior helps Alexa to bring William up onto the ledge with no problem.

WILLIAM

(RELIEVED)

Thank you so much!

ALEXA

(PUZZLED)

Who are you?

UNKNOWN PERSON

My name is Elijah Jones, I was sent in by a covert branch of the FBI to be a scout for the Beta-Blue team. I take it that you two must be members of the second team.

ALEXA

Yes, we are. So, where is the rest of the Beta-Blue team?

ELIJAH

I’m not sure. There was so much confusion going on inside this house of horror that we all got separated from each other. Last I remember I was with B.B.T.’s leader Jose Fuentes exploring the back of the cabin until we lost each other. If I didn’t know any better, it seemed like Jose just ran off somewhere. I’ve never in my life seen a cabin this big. It’s almost like a mansion.

ALEXA

So, what happened after that?

ELIJAH

Well, I came back in the cabin to look for the others, but I found no one. All of a sudden, I heard shooting coming from this room, so I rushed in.

WILLIAM

Well, we appreciate you to the fullest. You’d better stick with us if you want any chance of getting out of here alive!

ELIJAH

Well, I have a map of this cabin if we need it.

ALEXA

(SHOCKED)

This cabin has a map?

WILLIAM

(IN LAUGHTER)

Well damn!

Elijah pulls out the map. William and Alexa research the map to find direction. Elijah explains the map.

ELIJAH

As you can see here, the main corridor has many levels to the inside and out but right here is where I’m headed. I believe this section is like a foxhole under passage.

William looks at the map in confusion and notices that it has an underground.

WILLIAM

(SURPRISED)

You mean to tell me that this place has an underground?

ELIJAH

From the look of things on this map I believe so. I will go on ahead to the foxhole area and you guys' next stop should be here.

Elijah points to a section of the map called the “Arboretum”.

ELIJAH (CONT’D)

This is labeled as the Arboretum and it’s just outside the back of the cabin pass the Patio Terrace point. I’ll give you the map and leave you with this radio as well, that way we should be able to stay in communication with one another.

ALEXA

Yeah, for some reason our radios don’t work, just nothing but static. But we’ll use this one you gave us. Thank you so much Elijah!

ELIJAH

No problem!

WILLIAM

I still think it’s a bad idea for you to go off by yourself, but I guess it will be alright since we can stay in touch with each other. Plus, technically we can cover more ground that way.

ELIJAH

Right! Ok, you guys stay safe, and I’ll see you soon.

WILLIAM

Ok, watch you six, oh and do you need more ammunition or another gun?

ELIJAH

My brand new .44 Magnum is all I need. We’re engaged to be married.

WILLIAM

(SLIGHTLY LAUGHING)

Alright then, stay safe.

ALEXA

Take care. See you soon!

Elijah departs from the platform area leaving Alexa and William alone with the map and radio.

ALEXA (CONT’D)

I guess we should go ahead and investigate the Arboretum.

WILLIAM

Alright, let’s go!

CUT SCENE:

Jason is all bandaged up and he is ready to move on. Matt is still a little puzzled at the voices he heard.

JASON

Come on Matt, let’s go find the team and get the fuck out of this damn place!

MATT

Alright, let’s go in this door leading into the cabin.

JASON

No, no, no, let’s go chase those motherfuckers who were talking about killing all of us!

MATT

I just have a bad feeling about this whole situation. We’d better not follow them. We’ll steer clear for now but in due time everything will come together.

JASON

I sure hope so.

Matt picks up his Glock 17 off the ground and Jason pulls out his 9mm Glock 18 with a scope and red laser beam mounted on top. Both of them proceed to go inside the cabin.

INT. FIRST FLOOR PATIO TERRACE SIDE ENTRANCE--CABIN--NIGHT

Matt and Jason walk into the cabin for the first time. They notice that the room they are in is very big and disturbing. The room is gloomy, smelly, and there is dust everywhere. There are two doors in this room including the entrance from whence they came in.

JASON

(SARCASTICALLY)

I bet this cabin is big as hell. We probably won’t find everyone until tomorrow fucking morning.

MATT

Relax, we will find the survivors as well as our team and get out of here alive!

All in one moment, Matt started to hear some muttering hissing sounds coming from inside the room.

MATT (CONT’D)

(SHOCKED)

Jason, do you hear that?

JASON

Oh, yeah!

Jason and Matt both cock their guns and continue forward. The room is very large with dusty furniture everywhere.

JASON (CONT’D)

Right there!

Jason notices three disfigured reanimated corpses standing around each other feeding off one another. These beings were also making very troubling sounds. They were all bloody, bitten up, and deformed looking. Matt and Jason point their guns at the living corpses and Jason tries to walk towards them.

MATT

(SHOUTING)

Jason stay back!

JASON

(SHOCKED)

What the fuck are those?

While pointing his pistol, Matt tries to assert reason with the creatures in an authority manner.

MATT

(COMMANDING)

You three gentlemen put your hands in the air nice and slow!

The beings notice Matt and Jason and start to lazily walk towards them with a look of thirst.

JASON

Look how ugly those fuckers look. Oh, shit and here they come!

Matt yells with force at the creatures.

MATT

(FORCEFULLY)

I SAID STOP OR I’LL SHOOT!

JASON

Fuck that!

The monsters completely ignored Matt’s direct order then Jason opens fire. Jason without delay starts to shoot them down then Matt follows with gunfire. They shot at least nine rounds a piece. After the confusion and about twenty bullets later, the creatures fall dead to the ground with blood pouring onto the floor. Matt and Jason reload.

JASON (CONT’D)

Can you tell me what the fuck was that?

MATT

I’m not sure, but I know one thing is for certain, those things definitely weren’t human.

JASON

Well no shit! I emptied my whole clip at those bastards. Forget this man, screw Tobias and everybody else. I’m about to take my ass home!

MATT

Now you know we can’t leave our unit behind by any means. Come on, you know that.

JASON

Well, whatever, all I know is I shot one of the damn things five times and it kept walking. Now where I come from, if you shoot somebody once in the head, they’ll stop in their tracks! So, explain this situation to me.

MATT

I can’t.

JASON

Exactly!

Matt kneels down to inspect the demented corpses while Jason looked around the room.

While Matt is investigating the bodies, Jason looks up to the ceiling’s far left corner of the room and notices a gigantic hole. Jason wonders what could have made a hole that big.

JASON (CONT’D)

Hey man, let’s get out of here, find the others and be on our way home. This some creepy shit!

As Jason is looking and talking to Matt from across the room, Matt slowly looks back at Jason to confirm when all of a sudden, a humungous life size tick tries to attack Jason’s back.

MATT

(STARTLED)

JASON WATCH OUT!

Jason turns around and notices the massive, mutated tick just seconds away from attacking him. Jason is frozen in shock, and he screams to the top of his lungs like a woman’s screech.

JASON

(SCARED)

AHHHH!

Matt immediately points his 9mm Glock 17 at the huge tick in sequenced bullet time and unloads his entire clip. While still firing off rounds, Matt simultaneously stands up and walks closer to Jason. Matt runs out of ammo and there is endless smoke residue coming from his pistol. The tick is completely laid out flat on the ground, oozing with green and purple plasma. Jason is still frozen solid even after the tick is finished.

JASON

(HILARIOUSLY SCARED)

I…am…getting…thee…fuck out of here right now!

Jason scurries to the other door; opposite of their entrance, and quickly walks out.

MATT

(SHOUTING IN PANIC)

Jason wait!

Jason travels off alone leaving Matt behind.

CUT SCENE:

Janel is still a little distressed as to the death of one of her fellow teammates, but she tries to continue. Still in the same room with Xavier, Janel slowly tries to go inside the other door where Xavier came out of to investigate what gave him that massive bite mark. Just when she was about to open the door, Jelani Banks (Beta-Blue team’s pilot) walks in behind her from another door.

JELANI

Janel wait!

JANEL

Jelani! Oh, goodness I thought I would never see you again.

JELANI

Well, I’m just as lost as everyone else in this enormous cabin. After our helicopter went down and we all got separated, I went searching.

JANEL

Well, you’re the pilot and I thought I wasn’t going to make it out of here alive because there are some twisted things going on inside this cabin.

JELANI

Tell me about it, I had a couple of run-ins with some human-like creatures of some sort, but they weren’t human.

JANEL

You must be talking about those man-wolf corpses that Xavier and I saw earlier.

JELANI

Man-wolf?

JANEL

Yeah, that’s what they look like.

As Janel and Jelani finish their conversation, Jelani looks down and notices Xavier dead body on the floor.

JELANI

(SYMPOTHIZING)

Aw shit, look at Xavier.

JANEL

(IN SORROW)

Yeah, I know. We split up and when I found him, he was alive but lying on the ground in immense pain and immobilized from his wound. Then shortly after, he died in my arms.

Jelani kneels down to Xavier’s body and mourns for a couple of minutes. Then, he grabs Xavier’s pump action shotgun and picks up the shells while nervously loading them in the gun.

Unexpectedly, Jelani and Janel hear a loud piercing screech coming from the room where Xavier was. The sound was very horrifying, and it sent chills through Janel’s entire body.

JANEL

(PANIC)

What the hell was that?

JELANI

I don’t know but I’ll tell you what…

Jelani cocks the shotgun.

JELANI (CONT’D)

We are not going to let Xavier die in vain. Let’s go inside that room and find out what bit him.

JANEL

(SCARED)

I have a bad feeling about this but, ok.

With Jelani at the hands of a pump action double-barrel shotgun and Janel weaponless, they proceed cautiously into the suspicious room. This is where Xavier came out of, and a petrifying dilemma awaits them.

SNEAK PEAK*****

INT. SECOND FLOOR WOOD ROOM--CABIN--NIGHT

As Janel and Jelani enter in the room, the first thing they notice is how the area is designed. The space is sort of big with wooden poles placed throughout the floor in sections as pillars. There is a strange smell in the air and the floor is moist. There are barrels in the corner and several holes in the walls. The room resembles a barn-like décor also raised by an enormous ceiling. So far, there is no emanating danger in sight.

JELANI

(CAUTIOUS)

Oh my, it is very damp in here and being in here makes me think of a swamp for some reason. Stay alert Janel and stay close to me.

JANEL

Got it!

As they search slowly around the room for clues, they only find disappointment in the revealing of Xavier’s attacker. Janel separates slightly from Jelani just to continue searching the room. After about five minutes, they still are clueless with no immediate answers. Then out of the blue, they hear a loud bash followed by an ear-piercing screech only to reveal a 27-foot, gigantic, brownish green walking bat monster. This creature drops from the ceiling with an enormous presence. It looks as though this creature was created by genetically fusing a vampire bat and a wolf. It had vicious wings with sharp claws on its hands and feet. Its fangs were prickly and long, body full of slime and it had very ugly demented facial features.

JANEL (CONT’D)

(SHOUTING IN PANIC)

JELANI!!!

The gargantuan wolf-bat continues to screech as Janel and Jelani observe in panic. In one quick moment, the monster opens its mouth and strikes down on top of Jelani with full force completely putting Jelani’s entire upper body in its mouth. This attack only left Janel with a view of Jelani’s legs. The creature picks up Jelani’s body in the air and swallows him whole.

JANEL

(SCARED SHOUTING)

NOOOOO!!!

In Janel’s distress, she quickly notices the shotgun that Jelani dropped when the massive vampire bat grabbed him. While the fiend is still in digestive mode, Janel dashes swiftly to the ground and rolls over by the creature grabbing the shotgun. She stands up and aims the shotgun point blank at its head and she fires. The shotgun’s kick was so powerful that is pushed Janel back into one of the barrels. The monster cries in anguish as the buck shots were fired directly in its stomach instead of its head with blood splattering everywhere. The huge vampire bat falls back but is still very much alive and ready to attack. It rises up in total rage with a hole in its body dripping blood. Janel tries to raise the shotgun and get another shot off but the monster slashes at her legs knocking Janel back into the wall. Janel drops the shotgun from the impact. With no minutes to spare, the vicious monstrosity dives in for a killer attack when instantly William bursts through the door and fires off rounds consecutively from his Desert Eagle until he needs to reload. The vampire bat falls slightly and is dazed from William’s shots.
