Documents flew in a flurry. Digital in nature, Julisia and TSL scrolled through the pages and finally got to the page for their payout.

“I know that we’re doing the right thing,” Julisia said.

“With this, we can save up until the profit is secured.”

They walked out of the precinct into the Lightray.

“We’re not going about this the right way,” Julisia asserted.

Top Shelf sighed. “What is it now?”

“First of all, we’re just going after low to mid level assholes. We need to take down the bigger fish,” she said.

“In good time, my sweet. Crawl, walk, run, fly….”

“We’re flying in this Goudling right now.”

“Yes, but if we do more than we’re capable of right now, we’ll crash.”

Julisia looked at the curtains to the luxury automobile.

TSL grabbed her chin.

“We’re going to make music and money for these families. We just need to have patience. We can’t give away our position.”

Julisia kissed neck.

When they arrived at the apartment. They stormed up the stairs.

“Why can’t you see that we’re doing small potatoes? We’re supposed to be taking down gang bosses. We have to go at the kingpins, they can sell all the drugs they want. I don’t want the runners and the couriers. I don’t want the guys toting the steel running around in sneakers,” she remarked.

“And we can do that. We just have to be cautious. I mean, you know me, I’m all about moral ambition, but this is not it. We have a whole seedy underground because of the current laws. We have to push for the legislators to get the laws overturned.”

“Until then, we need to play the role of the aggressor. We have to come out in full readiness in order to defeat these low lifes.”

Top Shelf looked at her with a critical eye. He wondered what her true intentions were. He wondered if she was really aware of what she was saying and if she meant every word.

“We can do that,” TSL said, “But we have to keep the lowest of profiles if we’re going to do it right. We can’t just drop a dime like it’s the 1930’s. We’ve got to use our satellite imagery and other tactical tools.”

“We need a plan,” she countered.

TSL pulled out his smartphone and showed Julisia his plan for what he expected.

“In a decade, I’ll be a billionaire. I will have set up this informant cartel.”

“A cartel?” She asked cuttingly.

“Yes. Except in place of submachine guns and rocket launchers and machetes, we’re going to be armed with our mobile devices. We’re going to be packing our cameras and sending information to the authorities.”

The plan seemed impressive. It plotted out in intricate detail the way the snitches would do business.

“This is a good thing,” she declared. Her voice lifted a bit at the end, indicating she had thoroughly enjoyed Top Shelf’s ability to be so candid and upfront.

“Once we start in the First State we can either keep it here or stretch it across the nation and the globe. That’s our goal. We are supposed to be among the best to ever do it. Maybe we will be the greatest,” TSL wondered.

“I would dump funds into this venture. It’s something we have to keep noticing and taking note of if we are to survive and thrive in these Wilmington streets.”

“Yes, we must master our craft. I’ll continue rapping. You work the books. When we do shows, we can always scout out what riff raff may show up at the concert.”

Julisia looked at TSL. She peered at him with a certain look. It seemed like she was lasering in on his soul.
