When TSL stood on stage, he commanded the audience with a bravuro that was unmatched. He looked out over the sea of people and saw their individual faces. He enjoyed the mixture of responses his work gave the crowd.

The roar kept going until he went backstage and the lights came back on again. Sweat made hair cling to foreheads and there was a definite odor of marijuana hanging in the air. A din of conversation hung over the crowd.

Julisia met up with her boyfriend backstage.

“That was…I mean you killed it.”

“I put in work,” TSL replied. He sounded somewhat sad. Like he had energy left but didn’t want to expend any more of it.

“We have advance sales of $1.5 million. That’s going to combine with this spring’s concert series, we’ll be able to give ourselves enough breathing room to keep us going when we see that whole situation resolved.”

“Resolved? We just started.”

“I know but you’ve got to think like we nailed it on that try.”

“I didn’t try anything. I just went out there and did it.”

“That’s right, babe.”

As they gathered their belongings and their team had secured the rooms in which they stayed, they moved to their car with speed.

“I know that we have the spring and summer coming up and the tour of the state, but I really want to knock out these cases. Sate seems like a first rate son of a bitch. He has to get off my streets,” TSL acknowledged. An edge existed in his voice.

“You don’t have to worry about him. The force is ready to roll on him any moment. But we have to provide more data on him. It won’t be easy but we can do it.”

“I know.”

Julisia made herself speak with a greater sense of confidence. “We’re the ones responsible for ensuring that he is put down like a dirty, rabid dog. If we’re going to do anything it's to nab him before another woman is snatched off the streets. It’s to stop another woman from being forced into virtual slavery all because of the selfless actions of a scared little boy.”

TSL looked at his diamond encrusted watch. He continued to train his attention on the digital diamond watch. Julisia broke his concentration.

“Top, we have to have a way of doing this. It has to be within the bounds of the law but just pushing the boundaries. We have to keep in mind that we’re doing this for the cops but that we’re not cops.”

“You think I don’t know that?”

“I’m only saying that we have to think like ourselves and the cops at the same time, especially on this issue.”

“If we keep doing like we’ve been doing, we’ll be alright.” He looked at Julisia in the face and back to the road. They rode in the Dorough Truck worth $250,000. When they finally arrived at the house, they pulled together all of their digital ware and honed in on the main idea of seeing the parameters of the project.

They focused their attention on the women first. They counted them out with precision.

Then, they found themselves looking at the different levels to Sate’s operation.

“Babe,” Julisia said, “Keep a keen eye on the amount of traffic. The trucks, the vans, any vehicle that has the idea for making something worthwhile in this case.

“Roger.”

The both of them used their computers and satellites to keep their eyes in the sky miles above the Earth. They locked in on the amount of people still not ready to be able to see what Sate was doing.
