In transit, TSL and Julisia laid back in the Goulding. Julisia took the time to go over figures. Her face looked concerned and full something akin to curiosity, even wonder.

“We’re hemorrhaging on merch,” she said with concern. “We’re paying more for t-shirts and shot glasses than we’re taking in, now.”

“Okay, do away with what’s not selling,” TSLreplied.

“It’s more than that. Ticket sales have dipped slightly. We’ve been focused on snitching, that’s okay and is great pay, but we’re at a crossroads. We’re either in the music business or the informant business,” Julisia explained.

TSL commanded the seat to sit up straight.

“Babe, we can do both. I’ll shoot a video, put it up on the Internet and that’ll gain traction when it goes viral.”

“Let’s make sure that we can continue both. You do everything in your power to bring the men and women to your shows. You’ll be able to manage your own dates along with—” her phone rang. She spoke into her hands free. Her face looked severe. She sighed.

“We’ve got to answer a call.”

“What part of the city?”

“It’s outside. It’s down in Dover.”

“Dover? Let the police down there handle all of that.”

“It’s for $200,000. Each.”

TSL sighed, too.

“Alright. Let’s do it.”

Once they positioned themselves outside about a thousand yards from the site where an operation of guns had their serial numbers scratched off of the weapons.

TSL locked in on the various coordinates and notified the police. He then took off his tactical gear and left the car.

“Where are you going?” Julisia shouted over the wind in broad daylight.

“I’ve got to hit the head.” TSL took the time to go to the nearest gas station.

“Oh my God, it’s Top!” A young supporter shouted. She couldn’t have been more than twenty-years-old. She grabbed her phone and made duck lips with an ussie of herself and the hip hop performer.

“Thank you so much. You’re my favorite rapper for years.”

“I thank you.” Just then, Julisia walked through the door. She understood the situation.

“Julisia the Womanager! You’re the best promoter for Top Shelf. I know you handle your business.” TSL and Julisia exchanged glances.

“I don’t want to hold you up any longer. You two have work to do, I know! So glad to be in your presence!” Asla exclaimed again and hugged Julisia. She looked at TSL over Alsa’s shoulder. Her brow furrowed. The embrace broke. Alsa continued to the checkout line.

On the walk back, the couple remained silent. They didn’t speak until they reached the car.

“Another close call,” Julisia said.

“Yes, we must continue our low profile when out in the public. When we encounter various people in the streets, we have to be wary of playing our position.”

“Absolutely,” she breathed.

They then resumed their investigation. Suddenly, they saw a line of cars headed their way.

“Armand, we’ve got business elsewhere. Try to lose these cars,” TSL commanded.

The vehicle sped off and into the back streets where they eluded the cars.

“They must’ve been confused. Excellent driving Armand,” Julisia mentioned.

TSL and Julisia monitored the police vehicles surrounding the property.

“If we have any other problems, we can keep them at a distance. We’ve done our part. Now we can get the hell outta here and focus on securing the bag,” Julisia said.

“I already saw that it hit my account,” TSL said as he laid back in the luxury vehicle. Julisia’s phone vibrated. She lifted her phone to indicate the deposit. They both smiled at each other and kissed.
