A Micro-fiction Sighting of a Dog-man
A miserable Michigan winter, snowy and bitter cold. Our car broke down around midnight, and we sat huddled, shivering in our jackets.
We started hearing something; sticks breaking and snow crunching. Something was approaching our car.
At first, our relief - a figure walking through the blowing snow. But soon we realized that this wasn't a man. It was Dog-man.
The face contorted into a menacing snarl, the creature began its assault: scratching, biting, bashing, thrashing - it tried it all.
When daybreak came, the creature fled - a passing truck scared it off.
The size of those massive tracks...
