Jaime was anxious, and flipped quickly to ask the question that was burning in her mind:
“Do you still love me?” she asked.
*SIGH* “Of course I still love you,” Dylan replied, flipping over in turn and giving Jaime a reassuring peck on the cheek. Jaime beamed, and snuggled in once again to go to sleep.
“I don’t know how many times a day I need to say it for you to believe me,” Dylan continued. “I mean –”
*SMACK* “OW! What was that for?”
“For being rude.”
“Rude?! I was just –”
“Shush now, no more talking. I’m trying to sleep.”
