Discovering LexiVoxia: The Story of Boundless Creation

LexiVoxia (noun): having absolute freedom over the content and expression of one's writing.

By Amber BristowPublished 8 months ago 1 min read

Today, I stumbled upon a concept that will forever alter my perception of writing. For years, I've toiled under the heavy cloak of convention, tethered by the invisible chains of conformity. I was made to believe by countless individuals in the teaching system that my words had to fit within the lines, following rules as if they were etched in stone. But they were wrong.

I came across this new concept while trying to familiarise myself with rules set out by Oxford, Cambridge, and RSA Examinations. It lit up my screen in big, bold letters:

LexiVoxia (noun): having absolute freedom over the content and expression of one's writing.

As my eyes scanned its meaning, adrenaline coursed through my body. I was in awe of my new role as architect of the extraordinary, shaping realms untouched by the mundane.

In haste, I clicked CTRL+ALT+DELETE on my current project and stared in glee at the blank canvas in front of me. Without a second thought, I began my new piece, where I painted skies of lavender, seas of liquid silver, and cities that soared beyond the clouds. Within the limitless expanse of my pages, I found complete freedom.

I revelled in the sheer joy of sculpting alternate realities, where my imagination ran wild, unfettered and unleashed, and I knew then that I was truly free.

Now, my ink dances across pages, a rebellion in black and white, freed by a word that encapsulates so much meaning: LexiVoxia.

You almost had me. I too was rejoicing as that sounds like my style. Alas I could not find this elusive noun anywhere. I hope you lengthen this to a full time story, can you imagine what that might do to the writing world?
