A therapy session takes a dark turn…
The therapist's gentle voice filled the room. "Tell me about the dream," he said.
She hesitated, unsure of whether to reveal the dark thoughts that had been haunting her. "I killed someone," she whispered, eyes fixed on the floor.
The therapist leaned in, a small smile playing at the corner of his mouth. "I had the same dream last night," he said.
Her heart skipped a beat. The therapist's voice had always been a comfort, but now it sent a chill down her spine. Was he toying with her, or was he more like her than she had ever realized?
