I listen as rain pitter-patters upon the tin roof.
The inside of my tiny home is thankfully rainproof.
I sit wrapped in a cozy quilt, where I write daily prose.
My pen briefly stalls, but then the story flows.
Curled up by my feet, sleeps my old dog, named Ruth.
