While Coco was sleeping, her six brothers' snuck into her room. As soon as she awoke, she saw sixteen balloons floating on her ceiling. Sixteen stuffed animals covered Coco's bed.
Her brothers' had designed her a sweet sixteen t-shirt which they attached sixteen five-dollar bills to it using a large safety pin. The t-shirt was hanging on her door with a pair of new jeans. The Nike shoes she had asked her mother to buy for her birthday were on the floor. Coco was so happy she could not wait to go to school.
After putting on her clothes, Coco went into the bathroom to wash her face, brush her teeth, and put her make-up on. When she looked in the mirror, she screamed so loud that her whole family came in to see if she was alright. Coco's brothers had painted all over her face while she was sleeping. Since the family was all in her bathroom, one of her brothers' started singing happy birthday and the whole family joined him. She gave them all hugs and thanked them for all the gifts. Then they all went downstairs to eat breakfast together before they started their day. Coco's mom had cooked bacon, sixteen quarter-sized pancakes, topped with sixteen strawberry halves, whipped cream, and a chocolate drizzle. Coco and her brothers' devoured their breakfast and thanked their mom. Every morning after breakfast Coco's father would take her to school. So it did not surprise her when she heard a horn honking after she finished her pancakes. Coco ran outside, ready to go to school. Within one minute, the whole neighborhood could hear Coco screaming and crying out in excitement. Her father had bought her a new turquoise sports car with a chocolate-colored leather interior and a personalized license plate with her name on it.
Coco jumped into her fathers' arms and gave him the biggest hug and kiss to thank him. Never before had Coco went to school with such a big smile on her face thinking this is the best day ever. When Coco opened her locker at school to get her books for the first period, sixteen birthday cards fell out and sixteen Hersey kisses. They came from the members of her basketball team. After such an exciting morning, Coco found it hard to sit still in all her morning classes. She was still waiting to see what kind of gift her boyfriend was going to give her. The lunch bell rang, Coco hurried to meet him in the cafeteria. As soon as she got her fried fish basket from the lunch line, she started looking for her boyfriend in their usual spot. Coco almost dropped her lunch when she saw the table covered in chocolate and flowers. Her boyfriend had bought her sixteen chocolate cakes. Not even one of the cakes was the same recipe. There was ;
Chocolate truffle cake
Chocolate mocha bundt cake
Chocolate rum cake
Sour cream chocolate cake
Chocolate lava cake
Chocolate peanut butter cake
Chocolate oreo cake
Chocolate fudge cake
Belgian chocolate cake
Nutty chocolate cake
Chocolate cherry cake
Chocolate-dipped strawberry cake
Chocolate mint chip cake
Chocolate mousse cake
German chocolate cake
Chocolate pound cake loaf
Everyone in the cafeteria had a slice of chocolate cake. Surprisingly there was still enough left to bring home a piece from each different chocolate cake. When Coco kissed her boyfriend to express her gratitude, she whispered in his ear," Death By Chocolate." Anyone who knew Coco was aware that she loved chocolate. Especially tootsie roll lollipops, but sixteen chocolate cakes felt like her boyfriend was trying to kill her. From that day on, everyone at school started calling her Cholocate instead of Coco.
