Chapter 1

Alex walked down the sidewalk smoking a blunt. This was the favorite strain he had created, AAR. He looked at the night sky and sighed, he had done many things to get to where he was at, good and bad.

Eight years ago, he was just a sophomore who had just gotten his first taste of weed, and now he was the biggest distributor of Marijuana in the U.S. He got Recreational Marijuana legal in the U.S at the federal level, which many told him was impossible. He ended the cartel’s reach in the U.S weed business and didn’t die, of course, he became one of their biggest customers. He engineered many strains that revolutionized the business.

With money endlessly flowing and having accomplished everything he wanted, he started to feel empty. However, with money comes opportunities. Alex decided to use his money at his whims. He traveled to all parts of the world and beyond. He became the first man to smoke a blunt in space, and the first to roll and smoke a blunt on the moon. He invested in whatever interested him and gave millions of dollars to charity every day.

Alex had accomplished everything most people wished to in just eight years, becoming the youngest billionaire in the U.S at just twenty-four. Reaching such height at such a young age was naturally amazing, but also lonely. His best of friends grew jealous and betrayed him, the past girlfriends had all at some point showed their true colors as money-hungry gold diggers. The only ones he could always look towards to were his parents. His mom and dad, two of the hardest workers he’d ever known, working day and night to provide for him and his two little brothers. They were always there for him when he struggled with any problems. So when he got the call that his mother was pregnant, he rushed to them as soon as he could.

As Alex reached the corner of the sidewalk, he turned onto the street of his parent’s house. By now, the blunt in his hand was finished and the only thing left was a roach.

Alex made sure the roach was out before he flicked it in the trash and walked toward his parent’s home. His parents lived out in a secluded island villa. Surrounded by nothing but the sea and the few neighbors they had, Alex made sure they lived out their retirement in peace and quiet.

Alex walked up to the bamboo doors and rang the doorbell. He stood there, anxious to see his mother and father, and felt as if it’d been years. Finally, not even a minute having passed, his father opened the door. A black man in his 40s stood before Alex, a bright smile on his face.

“Alex, you’re finally here,” His father said gushing with happiness. “Your mom’s been waiting all afternoon for you.”

“It’s good to see you too dad,” Alex said and reached in for a hug. His dad laughed and patted his back, before leading him into the house. Alex walked straight to his parents’ room and saw his mom laying down on a king-sized bed with a belly as round as the moon.

" How long have you been pregnant for?" Alex asked in a shocked voice. “I thought you just found out.”

Alex’s mom smiled, " Five months, we wanted to know her gender before telling you about it."

“Her?” Alex said stunned.

“Yes, it’s a Her, you’re finally going to have a baby sister.”

“A baby sister,” Alex muttered. A tingling sensation flowed through his veins and quickly burst out as excitement bubbled forth from his entire being. A baby sister, his mother had been trying to have a daughter ever since he was in his pre-teens. He felt happy that her wish finally came true; A baby sister, Alex gushed with giddiness as he thought of the little darling sister that would soon be in his arms.

Alex stayed with his parents for the rest of the pregnancy, and when the time came for his mom to give birth, he naturally hired the best doctors in the world. With no implications, a healthy little princess was born into the world. As Alex held her in his arms over the next few days, he felt truly whole and at peace.

Alex walked out of the hospital and sparked a blunt. Thinking about his new little sister, Alex reached for his phone.

“Good afternoon, sir.”

“Ryan, give 15 percent of my shares to my newborn Lil Sis. Also, change my Will to include her, give her the rights to ten percent of my inheritance. Do you hear me?”

“Yes, sir!”

“Good, create a college fund for her, add 2 million in there; start a retirement fund too, add 100 million in there. You got that?”

“Yes, sir!”

“Alright, that’s all for now. Wait, don’t forget to create an emergency fund for her, add 50 million. That’s all.”

“It is done, sir!”

“Good, I will be staying with my parents to help take care of her, you’re in charge until then.” Alex hung up the phone and walked back to the hospital. He looked at his mom smiling at the little baby in her arms and once again felt at peace.

Over the next few months, Alex slowly watched his little sister grow older and eventually turning one year old. As a birthday gift, he got her something he had invested in a few years back, a bionic pup. A companion that would follow and protect her until she grew old and wrinkly.

Watching her play with her new puppy, Alex smiled and went out for a smoke. Sitting on a remote corner of the beach, Alex sparked a blunt. He sighed with laziness as he laid down and looked out at the horizon over the sea. Feeling the high coming on, Alex relaxed his body and enjoyed the feeling. As he lit another blunt of his favorited strain, AAR, Alex looked out at the sky and saw a dot of light coming towards him. Alex smiled and knew his high was in motion.

As he watched the dot of light coming closer and closer, Alex took one last hit and flicked out the roach. He closed his eyes and started to look forward to the effects of AAR. The reason Alex loved this strain so much was that the effects would let the smoker see aliens in weird places, making it one of the more fun and playful strains he had created.

Alex opened his eyes and heard a loud zooming sound. He looked up at the sky and felt a sudden massive pressure on his body. An enormous Flying Saucer fell at neck-breaking speed towards him.

“Fuck!” Alex’s eyes changed.

Chapter 2

Pain.

Unimaginable Pain.

It wrecked Alex’s body so much that it felt like a part of him.

Pain.

It was all Alex could feel as he tried to open his eyes. Blinding Light immediately rushed into his eyes as he squinted trying to adjust.

“Where am I?” Alex turned his head to look around. He was laying down on the floor of a large circular room.

“Where is this?!” Alex ignored the pain and got to his feet alarmed. His eyes were immediately drawn to the walls, Mysterious engravings glowing with mystical lights running along them.

“WTH!” Alex took a step forward and immediately fell down to his knees groaning. Alex felt like his head would burst open at any moment.

Thousands of images exploded in Alex’s head. Memories. These were memories. His Dad spanking his second brother after pranking the maids and making one of them cry. The first day of martial arts training. His first sister leaving after she accepted a powerhouse as her master. The nervousness of his father when his little brother was being born. Thousands of memories flooded Alex’s head as he laid on the ground.

Alex unsteadily stood up as the last bit of memories finished playing in his head. Everything became clear, where he was, how he got here, why.

This was a different world from Earth. This was the Gods and Devils World, and he was in the body of Alexander, the 5th son of Percy, The King of the Rainfall Kingdom. After the birth of his little brother The Sixth Prince, Percy, Alexander’s dad announced his abdication from the throne and that the crown would go to the worthiest. This officially started the struggle for the crown.

Alexander, being the 5th son had very low chances at the crown. The First Princess left to train with her master and gave up the fight to the throne. The Second Prince is a genius commander and controls the kingdom’s Rainfall legion. The Third Prince is a legacy disciple of the Astro world Sect Master. The Fourth Prince oversees the economy of the kingdom and has nearly inexhaustible funds. All three major powers within the kingdom are separated between The Fourth, Second, and Third Prince, leaving the scraps for him, The Fifth Prince. The Sixth Prince, being too young was not qualified to participate in the struggle for the crown.

After racking his brain, the only way Alexander knew he had a change in winning the crown was by obtaining the inheritance of their ancestor, William the Invincible. He obtained permission to challenge The Ancestral Inheritance Hall but underestimated the difficulty of the challenge. He died under the waves of attack from the inheritance hall, letting Alex’s soul somehow crossover and merge with his dying body and soul.

Alex slowly stood up and looked around the room warily. He didn’t know if the challenge would start attacking him randomly now that he had reincarnated into Alexander.

When he noticed that nothing was coming at him, he let out a breath of air in relief.

He looked around the room at the mysterious engravings on the wall and thought, “Wow, I’m really in a different world.”

Alex looked around the large room again and saw an altar in the middle of the room with a small jade crown laying on it. Alex walked towards the altar and stopped before.

Looking at the crown, Alex started thinking of his family back on earth, “Dad, Mom, lil sis, you must take care of yourselves now that I’m gone. Good thing I planned and left you plenty of money to live out your lives peacefully. I have to say goodbye now, I must live in this life now as Alexander. Bye mom, dad, lil sis.”

Alex let out a breath of air and reached out for the crown.

“From now on, I am Alexander.” He said as picked up the crown and put it on his head.

“Ehhhh,” Alexander yelled out with a stupid look on his face.

“What’s happening,” Alexander stood there and stupidly thought.

“Wait, what?” Alexander looked around confused trying to figure out what was happening.

“Wait, you’re merged with my soul? Where did you come from?” Alexander felt a chill go down his back.

[System is the main AI system of Galactic Ship 44-2A. The system has merged with the Host’s soul for unknown reasons.]

“So, you’re the AI of the ship that killed me on Earth?” Alexander said in disbelief.

Alexander almost laughed so hard his stomach started aching. “Omg, the ship that killed me is basically stuck with me now, haha, why can’t I stop laughing at such a thing? HAHAHA.”

“Alright, so how’d you merge with my soul then system.”

Alexander thought back and tried to remember a tear in space, “I guess that’s how I got here.”

Hearing this, Alexander started to tremble in excitement. There’s no way he wouldn’t get the throne with such an inheritance.

“Holy Shit,” Alexander was giddy with happiness as he heard all the notifications coming in after the update finished.

“Let’s check out the cultivation techniques,” Alexander thought as he opened the menu for cultivation techniques. Nine Suns Frozen God Cultivation Technique, Bloody Sea Divine Devil Cultivation Technique, Fingering Heaven Smiling Devil Cultivation Technique, Divine Solar Stellar Being Cultivation Technique, Frozen Heart Calming Asura Cultivation Technique, Herculean God Form Cultivation Technique, Heavenly Devil Cultivation Technique, Happy immortal Soaring God Cultivation Technique, Origin Devil Cultivation Technique, Clear Thought Wondering God Cultivation Technique.

Alexander grinned as he saw the first page of the list of cultivation techniques available from the Inheritance. “Let’s see what else you have to offer.”

Alexander opened the menu for Martial Arts Techniques. Desolation Fist Technique, Tempest kick Technique, Seven Deadly Intent Technique, Solar-Ray Finger Technique, Soaring Cloud Sword Technique, Single Point Deadly Spear Technique, Royal Might Halberd Technique, Swift Knife Flying Needle Technique, Poison Swamp Deadly Fog Technique, Tyrant Fist Heavy Shock Technique, Clear Horizon Ever-sweeping Arrow Technique, Legends of Awesomeness Technique, Sleeping Tree Giant Root Technique, Overwhelming Sage Deadly Intent Technique, Tiger Dragon Fist Technique, Dragon Turtle Shield Technique.

Alexander wiped his mouth from drooling at the first page of the Martial Arts Techniques, “All Right, let’s check out the bloodlines. Wait, System, what does it mean by bloodlines.”

“Then why don’t I have a bloodline.”

“So then how do true geniuses get a bloodline if their ancestors don’t leave one behind.”

“Powerful, really powerful,” Alexander thought as he looked at the first page of bloodlines. “This is just the first page and that’s already the bloodline of fifteen God level beast. How amazing was this ancestor of mine?” `

Chapter 4

Alexander went to the lucky wheel section to see what it was about. A huge wheel surrounded mysterious light and energy that made the surrounding space vibrate appeared in front of his eyes.

Alexander jumped in shock as the giant heavenly wheel came into being. Seeing that nothing else happened once it materialized, Alexander walked closer to the wheel to get a closer look.

The giant wheel stood gloriously in front of him, radiating intense pressure and energy that shook everything within its domain. Alexander stumbled backwards and hurriedly closed his eyes as a massive pain entered his mind.

The moment he had tried to look at the wheel, blinding light of all colors erupted through his mind. This left him shook as he was not even able to look straight at the wheel without feeling like his eyes would explode.

“System, what is this? Why can’t I even look at the wheel?” Alexander thought in his mind.

[System analyzing the situation…]

[Analyzation complete, System has found two reasons. Firstly, the host has only just possessed this body after the previous owner died during the trial. As a result, the host’s soul has not fully merged with the previous owner’s soul. Secondly, the host’s soul is too weak, not being able to handle the pressure released by the wheel.]

Alexander thought for a second and found these two reasons very reasonable. He looked down at his body and tried stretching his arm forward and clenching his fist. Although he moved his mind in order to make the movement, his arm only responded four seconds later.

“Looks like I still haven’t fully merged with my body. I wouldn’t have thought of that if I didn’t have this system.” Alexander pondered and felt grateful that the ancestor of his for leaving behind such a great inheritance.

“System, how long is it going to take my soul to fully merge with the previous Alexander?”

“What!” Alexander thought loudly. “Is there no way for me to speed it up?”

From the memories Alex inherited from Alexander, he knew that this world he was in was a cultivation world. One where only the strong and powerful survived and the weak were remorselessly trampled on, having their fates controlled and serving as slaves to the strong. If he had to wait a full six years before his soul merged, then he didn’t know how long he would survive for. Especially with the battle for the throne about to begin, maybe he wouldn’t even survive past a year. From the memories he received and his own from his past life, he knew that this would be a completely deadly battle, where the other princes would go all out. Even to the point of wanting to assassinate each other, forgetting about ancestral blood relations to the temptation of the throne.

“I can’t wait that long,” Alexander clenched his fist. “System, is there a way to increase the merging speed of our soul?” Alex asked.

[Searching inheritance for information…]

“What’s this?” Alexander quickly exited out of the lucky wheel section and looked at the interface that appeared in his mind as the giant heavenly wheel disappeared. Alexander felt his mind and body relax as the wheel was completely gone. His face eased as he once again stood alone in the room.

“I didn’t realize how much pressure the wheel put on my body,” Alexander sighed and once again went into his mind. Alexander saw a new storage section tab appear next to the shop section. He quickly clicked on the tab with his mind and a new interface named storage appeared.

In this storage interface, a large room-sized three-dimensional space appeared. The room was completely grey and empty, only having a small box quietly sitting at the center. Looking closely at the box, Alexander’s excitement died down and he pouted, thinking that the system was playing with him. The box was an ordinary wooden box that looks like it was made to hold old tools and unwanted items. As he looked closely at the details, Alexander felt even more down. The box looked like it was made from a random tree that someone cut down and crafted it without any care for it.

“Isn’t the world transmigrator, A.K.A me, supposed to get like a giant overpowered welcoming gift from their system,” Alexander kept looking at the gift as he thought of this.

[Host is thinking of fiction novels that he read in the past life, Host should focus on the real world and stop being delusional.]

Alexander rubbed his nose and grinned as he heard the system A.I. " Looks like it’s not just a robot."

Alexander turned his attention to the gift again and felt that if he wanted to, he could reach his hands through the interface and touch the box.

Scrunching brows, Alexander thought “How do I open this gift? I obviously can’t reach through and touch it; it’s in my mind.”

“Okay.” Alexander nodded.

“Open!”

The box in the middle of the room creaked open slightly, a weak radiance leaked out of the small gap that opened, surprising Alexander. The lid paused for a second as if reacting to Alexander’s surprise before starting to move once more, continuing up all the way until it was fully open. The faint radiance was now acting as a shield, preventing Alexander from clearly seeing the objects Located inside.

Alexander didn’t notice the notification ring in his head as his mind was focused on the box. He once again moved his thoughts towards the three-dimensional room, " Reveal."

Alexander read these notifications and stood with a blank expression on his face. “What are these?” he asked the system.

[Responding to Host, Gods and Devils points are the main currency of the System. The host can use the points to exchange for anything he desires within the system, as long as he has the required number of points. Tickets are another currency used by the Gods and Devils system. They can be used to acquire whatever the ticket responds to for free. For example, the host received a Cultivation Technique Ticket. Using this, the Host can exchange for one of the Cultivation techniques within the system. This feature makes tickets extremely rare and hard to acquire. The host can also use items of equivalent value to exchange for items within the system.]

Alexander took a second to fully understand how the economic side of the system worked. His body started to tremble as he once again looked at the rewards he got from the Entrance gift.

“LUCKY, I am so LUCKY!” Alexander couldn’t stop grinning from ear to ear as he looked at the rewards, specifically the tickets.

“Who says I’m not an OP Transmigrator? This is just a welcome gift and I already got so many tickets. This is basically giving me free techniques and martial arts,” Alexander started laughing haughtily at this point.

[Host shouldn’t be too confident.] The System voiced in, cutting off Alexander’s celebratory cheer.

Alexander scrunched his brows as he heard this and his mood dropped a little, “How would I go about to get tickets normally?”

[For Host to obtain tickets, Host must create heaven-defying acts that shake the heavens and earths, bringing great destiny, luck, and karma towards the host.]

Alexander’s heart shook as he heard what the system said. To create heaven-defying acts that bring him great destiny, luck, and karma. Alexander sighed and thought back toward this Ancestor of his, “Old man, do you want to think I’m some MC In a novel. Why are you setting the fucking requirements so high?”

“Whatever,” Alexander thought as he retreated from inside his mind. If it’s heaven-defying acts you want, then heaven-defying acts you’ll get.

Alexander looked around the circular room and his eyes pausing on the mysterious engravings on the wall and he took a deep breath. Feeling a little sore from standing, he took a step away from the altar and froze. Although his mind took a step forward, his body stood still and didn’t move until four seconds have passed.

Alexander suddenly recalled his problem from earlier before and quickly nudged the Gods and Devils system in his mind, “I almost forgot, System, how do I increase the process of my soul merging?”

[System has found information relating to the merging of two souls. Basic Soul Dao Manual- requires 1000 gods and devils’ points]

Alexander heard and finally understood why the system wanted him to open the gift first, seems like even information in the gods and devils’ system cost points.

Alexander nodded his head, “Alright.”

Looking at the top right corner of the system interface, one thousand disappeared from the points he received from the gift, leaving him with ninety-nine thousand points left.

Immediately after the points disappeared, the information recorded within the Basic Soul Dao Manual rushes into Alexander’s mind, engraving itself into his memories and turning into knowledge. Alexander shook in pain as the information flooded into his mind. The process seemed to take forever for Alexander, although in reality, only a couple of minutes passed.

Once the process was completed, Alexander fell to the ground. Catching the altar in time to support him, he managed to stand up and walk to the engraved wall, only to sit down once again.

An exhausted light shone through his eyes as he recalled the information he just received. I’m a corner of his mind, the words Basic Soul Dao Manual floated in place. Alexander looked at the words floating and shivered as he thought of the process for it to get there. The words stood in place before Alexander, looking simple and ordinary.

Alexander gritted his teeth and finally opened the knowledge he received. A look of ease spread through his face, and he kept reviewing the new knowledge.

“I see,” Alexander opened his eyes and a smile showed on his face.

“Because the original Alexander died, this body lost all the cultivation he had tediously cultivated from a young age, dropping back down and returning to being a mortal,” Alexander looked down at his hands and had a pondering look on his face.

“This reason our souls are taking so long to merge is that my soul is still foreign to this body, not to mention the original Alexander’s soul is a few times stronger than mine, making our souls merge slower,” As he said this, understanding flashes through Alexander’s eyes.

“Not to mention that the only reason our souls are able to merge so peacefully is that Alexander died during the trial, had his consciousness still been Alive, he would have swallowed me whole the second our souls met.” Alexander looked towards the middle of the room and his eyes passed the altar. On the other side of the room opposite of him was a gateway with a stone door lying on the floor broken into pieces.

Alexander looked at the sight with a solemn look," To increase the merging speed of our souls in the quickest way, I have to reach the same cultivation as the original Alexander before he died, and then surpass it!"

Alexander made up his mind and returned to the system in his mind, or should he say in his soul. With this Gods and Devils system by his side, Alexander saw a bright future ahead.

Chapter 5

Within his mind, Alex started flipping through the original Alexander’s memories again. Finally, he retreated and sighed. The original Alexander has reached the 8th Level of the Ascension Realm before he passed away in the trial. Alexander called out the system and asked, “System, do you have any information about Cultivating or Cultivation?”

[System searching…]

[Information found- Cultivation, All there is to know] [cost- 1 GD points]

Alexander nodded his head, “buy it.”

Seconds later, Information once again rushed into his head. This time, however, was not as bad as last time as he had learned many things regarding the soul, including ways to open up his soul when taking in a great amount of information.

The transfer stopped in a few seconds and Alexander opened his eyes. His eyes glowed brightly as the information he received excited him to no end.

{Cultivation is the study of the Dao, the path or paths that lead to the top, the peak of existence. There are many paths in cultivation, some great or small, some powerful or weak and ordinary. These paths are cultivated by the myriad of beings of the universe. God, Devil, Immortal, Demon, Asura, Buddha, Ghost, Dragon, Phoenix, Titan, Ancient, Saint, Spirit, Void, Emperor, Blood, Rune, Sage, World. These are only just a small number of paths that one can use to cultivate the Dao; the list goes on. Where do their paths come from you ask? From a time way before the desolate and the immemorial. A lost era before even the primordial and primeval. This was a time where beings with power unimaginable to us in the present era roamed the universe undefeated and unchallenged.

Towards the end of this era, it is said that many of these beings with power that could destroy our era with just a single unconscious head shake begin a great battle or more like a war to find out who was the strongest, the most powerful, the king of them all.

This war is said to have lasted countless ages, and towards the end of this war is when the great ancestors of our myriad races first appeared. When they saw these beings of unimaginable power, they were in awe and worshiped them. From these beings, our ancestors studied their mysterious and great powers for years before being enlightened about the paths. Our ancestors then began to construct these paths based on these beings to be suitable for our bodies. After millions of years, they were finally successful. One race successfully created the Emperor path and became known over the years as the Human Race. Another Race created the Dragon path and became the Dragon Race, as did the Phoenix Race, and so on.

As these paths were being created, the beings were destroying one another, moving forward to see which being would be the most powerful king. Finally, only one of these beings was left, having slain all the others he came the king, ruling over all, including our ancestors. Under his rule for millions of years, the ancestors of the myriad races made great progress with the paths, researching all the paths the other races had created to be suitable for themselves.

Millions of years later, the paths had reach maturity and almost all the ancestors of our myriad race had great unstoppable powerhouses in their pockets. With such power, our ancestors grew irritated with the being ruling over their heads. Our ancestors finally said screw you to the powerful being king and revolted against him. All their unstoppable powerhouses joined hands against this king with the intent to slaughter.

Angered by their daring actions, the powerful being king unleashed a great power that even our ancestors didn’t expect, having forgotten about the past war. In a desperate fight with the king, over two-thirds of the ancestors of our myriad race were wiped out to extinction by this being. After a long and hard battle, the king was finally brought down by the remaining powerhouses, each of them sacrificing their lives to protect their race.

As a result of their battle, our myriad races were nearly wiped out, leaving only a few of our races alive. Only over the next few eras was what was left of our myriad race able to recover and thrive once more, creating what is now the golden era.}

As Alexander read the information in his mind, he was endlessly shocked at how cultivation came to be and the struggle our ancestors went through to get to here today.

Putting his hand on his chin, Alexander thought, " This World is called the Gods and Devils world, the people mainly practice the god or the devil path. There are no other paths available on this world, so I can only choose from these two to cultivate it seems."

Alexander’s eyes rolled around his head as he was deep in thought, “Alexander originally followed the god path and reach the eighth rank of the Ascension Realm. With his memories and experience along with the system, I’m sure I can reach and even surpass him in the least amount of time, but to cultivate the Dao one must follow their own path. Alexander nearly choked on his own tongue when he saw the outrageous prices next to these items. Millions, million, billion, finally Alexander raised enough courage to look that the top of the list. Ten blurry lines appeared in front of his eyes, and he struggled to try to see what they said.

Alexander went to the cultivation techniques and quickly flipped passed the god techniques before landing on the devil techniques. This was what he was looking for. Alexander had made up his mind earlier and decided that to surpass the original Alexander, he had to start over from the beginning, creating a perfect foundation for his path and seeking the Dao later. Alexander read and scrolled through the techniques before he found something that caught his eyes.

Not being able to remember much, he knew that he should probably take his clothes off. After a while, Alexander frowned, if it was like he thought and filth came out of his body he would need somewhere to wash off. Quickly entering, the system Alexander bought two tubs of Spiritual Springwater to wash off in after for 1000GDP.

Feeling that he had made enough preparations, Alexander took the vial of Rebirth off the ground. Looking closely, you could only see a pure green liquid. Alexander opened the vial and immediately the smell of nature wafted through his nose. Surprise shined through his eyes as he felt as if he was walking through a giant forest full of vitality. Birds sang in the background, mystical flowers blooming, ancient trees standing tall as if eternal, water streaming through the earth, and all types of creatures playing, running, chasing, all majestic and beautiful.

For only a brief second, Alexander was within this mystical forest, observing all the details before it all disappeared, leaving only the small circular room. Amazed, Alexander looked at the green vial in his hand, just a whiff of its scent had sent him to such a magical wonderland.

No longer hesitating, Alexander swallowed the green liquid in the vial with one giant gulp. As he felt the liquid slide down his throat into his stomach, Alexander sat straight as he waited for the liquid to come into effect.

Seconds later, a cool refreshing feeling passed through his body. Alexander couldn’t help but moan in pleasure as he closed his eyes, enjoying the experience. Time passed slowly as he fell deeper and deeper into the pleasurable feeling passing through his body. In Alexander’s mind, he was back in the mystical forest. He sat under a giant ancient redwood tree and enjoyed the scenery. He watched as the little animals played around and chased each other. He watched the ants and bugs hard at work carrying tinny objects twice their weight. He watched as the birds soared through the sky freely, enjoying the wind caressing their feathers. As he watched all of this, Alexander could feel himself slowly changing.

Finally, Alexander finally opened his eyes and let out a loose breath. He didn’t know how long he had been in that forest; it could have been hours or minutes. Once he got lost in that magical feeling, he lost track of time and even himself.

Taking a deep breath in, Alexander was shocked as a strong stench entered his nose. Looking down he saw that his body was entirely covered in stinky, disgusting green filth. Immediately getting up, Alexander ran to one of the tubs of Spiritual spring water he had bought from the shop and practically dove in. An immediate feeling of refreshment passed through him as he laid there. Enjoy his bath, Alexander looked down at the water and smiled. He really had changed.

As he looked at the reflection, Alexander thought back to when he had bought the tub. He had seen himself for the first time after taking over the body. A young man that looked no older than fifteen looked back at him then. He had good looking features, not too well defined, his face was kind of round, which gave him a cute baby face. His had light gray eyes that twinkled when the light passed them and thick and full eyebrows that made his eyes stand out. His short hair and light bronze skin added to his look, drawing him attention even though he was not handsome.

Now looking at his reflection again, Alexander was completely satisfied with the changes that took place on his person. His skin seemed to be glistening under the light of the engravements on the wall. His hair grew long at the top almost like the top fade haircuts back on Earth. His face, although still round and babyish, had gotten a lot more defined creating a somewhat lazy look.

Alexander soaked in the tub for a few more minutes before exiting, feeling completely refreshed.

“System, check my body and see what changes have been made.”

Chapter 6

“OH MY GOD!!” Alexander roared as he struggled on his knees, holding himself up with his fist.

Overwhelming Pain was the only thing Alexander could feel right now. If one looked closely at him, they would see that underneath his skin his muscles were moving and flowing in all directions as if ready to burst out. Alexander’s shoulders started shaking as he struggled not to fall face-first into the ground. Thoughts of regret flooded through his mind for a second before intense pain flooded it out.

“Aaagh!!” Alexander started to punch the ground as hard as he could as if hoping that would wash out the pain he was feeling.

“BOOM!!BOOM!!BOOM!!”

Punch after punch landed on the ground, however, nothing he did could get rid of the pain.

“I got too confident,” Alexander thought. The rebirth process had gone so smoothly that he thought taking the Super Soldier Serum would be the same. Oh, how wrong he was. The blood-red vial was very much different from the green rebirth vial.

Alexander had opened the vial and immediately gulped the Serum down, waiting for the effects to start. However, when they did, he wished he never bought the Serum in the first place.

Pain. Uncontrollable pain. Unstoppable pain flooded throughout his body, he immediately dropped to his knees and cursed the Serum. He had never experienced anything so painful in his life, the Serum spread to every part of his body in just seconds, destroying everything in its path. With every passing second, the Serum would destroy his flesh, break his bones, and heal and create new flesh and bones, slowly merging and become a part of him.

As time passed, Alexander gradually gained control of himself, no longer feeling so much pain. Alexander crawled up from his kneeling on all four positions and slowly sat down. As time passed, the more and more clear-headed he became. The pain didn’t decrease at all, but Alexander didn’t scream anymore. He sat with his back straight against the wall and endured the pain. Feeling himself slowly changing, Alexander began to feel different about the Serum.

Slowly, as time passed, Alexander stood and walked towards the second pond. Sitting in the water, Alexander couldn’t help but let a relieved grunt escape from his mouth. The water seemed to massage his body as he relaxed for the first time in hours.

Alexander laid his head back and thought, “Looks like Josh was right, Pain is weakness leaving the body.”

Josh was an old friend of Alexander’s from Earth. They had gone their separate ways but kept in contact with each other. Josh had joined the Marine Corps and always wanted Alexander to enlist with him. Alexander never even considered as that would mean he couldn’t smoke anymore. Josh always said the motto of the marines when he tried to get Alexander to join “Pain is weakness leaving the body.” Alexander had never understood the phrase, but only now did he realize how amazingly profound it is.

Alexander stood up from the bath and looked at the reflection. What he saw left him dazed for a few seconds. Expecting a Round and babyish face, what he saw was a greatly defined jawline. His light gray eyes stood out and gave out an easygoing vibe as if nothing could bother him. His hair turned curly and fuller at the top with the sides short and neat giving out a type of laidback attitude, which perfectly matches his glowing light bronze skin.

Alexander was shocked at how much his appearance changed in just a few hours. Not only did he become incredibly handsome, but his body also changed as well. His chubby muscular body had become a well-defined machine. You could clearly see every detail of muscle on his body. Losing much of the fatty muscles and gaining pure power. Alexander felt the strength coursing through his body and was amazed that a mortal body could be so powerful.

“I haven’t even begun to cultivate yet, how powerful will I be when I start,” Alexander thought excitingly.

Moving out of the tub, Alexander proceeded to get dressed. “System, scan my body and report my progress.”

As Alexander was trying to put on his clothes, they realized they were the wrong size, he had gotten bigger, not to mention taller.

Alexander quickly entered the shop section of the system and looked at the clothes he could wear. Randomly choosing a princely outfit the system recommended to him, he quickly put it on. Alexander then sat down and thought about what to do next. He had been in this room for quite some time, probably a few days now. He knew that some people outside had to think he failed and died by now. Alexander went to the storage section of the system and look inside the 3-D dimensional room. He looked at the manual that was casually floating in a corner by itself and moved his mind towards it.

As he mentally grabbed the manual, a stream of information steadily flowed into his mind. Alexander, having undergone a rebirth and purifying his soul, had much more control over the flow of information being transferred to him.

As the stream entered his mind, Alexander began to review the information flowing into him as it turned into knowledge.

Opening the shop function of the system, Alexander quickly found the items he would need to cultivate The Devil Origin World.

This cultivation technique was actually very special. From Alexander’s memories, Alexander found out that Cultivation techniques were divided into 5 ranks and 4 grades.

Divine, Transcendent, World, Origin, and Natural, with Divine being the highest and Natural being the lowest. Each rank was also separated into low, medium, high, and supreme grade, each more powerful than the other.

Most mortal kingdoms and families were only able to cultivate low-grade natural rank techniques, and as far as the original Alexander knew, Divine and Transcendent rank techniques had never appeared on the Gods and Devils world, giving those with World rank techniques supreme power.

Only after fully comprehending the technique did Alexander find out that the Origin World Devil Foundation Technique was just the first part of a cultivation set called the Devil World Five Elementals Manual.

Although right now it was only a Natural rank technique, a supreme grade one at that, once he successfully cultivated it to completion and created the Unbreakable Foundation Devil Origin World, he would be able to cultivate the next part of the set, which was at the Supreme grade Origin rank.

The thought of this excited Alexander very much, one must know that even his father, the ruler of an entire kingdom, only cultivates a Supreme grade Origin rank cultivation technique.

Alexander reminded himself to focus and calmed his thoughts. Right now, what mattered most was cultivating this technique to completion.

To cultivate this technique, Alexander needed to choose five elements to cultivate as the foundation for his Devil world. He didn’t dare recklessly choose as this would affect the rest of his cultivation life. Thinking deeply, Alexander finally decided on what elements would be best to use as his foundations.

Alexander finally chose everything he needed to cultivate the technique to completion, “I want them all, Buy!”

Having chosen his five foundation elements, Alexander had nowhere to go but forward. Sitting down with his legs crossed and palms on his needs facing forward, Alexander entered Meditation.

A total of five items appeared in Alexander’s storage space, each representing one of the five elements he had chosen. Lightning, Water, Wood, Fire, and Wind.

Alexander chose Lightning to be his first element because he had always thought of Lightning as a king amongst the elements, all-powerful and multi-purpose. Following the breathing technique of The Origin World Five Element Devil Foundation Technique, Alexander summoned The Natural Lightning Pool.

A small azure pool appeared mid-air in front of Alexander the moment he summoned it. Faint crackling sounds spread throughout the room as Alexander readied himself.

Taking a deep breath, Alexander reassured himself as he once again removed his clothes. Readying himself, Alexander hesitated as he looked at the natural lightning pool. The pool sparkled azure as sparks of lighting seemed to fly out of it.

Alexander stood solemnly, staring at the pool and listening to the sizzles it released. Realizing that he was hesitating and wasting time, Alexander clenched his teeth and recklessly jumped into the pool.

Once again, unimaginable pain immediately coursed through his body. Slightly used to pain now, Alexander hurriedly rose and broke through the surface of the pool. Hurriedly, Alexander thought back and begin to circulate the breathing technique of The Origin World Devil Foundation Technique.

Alexander felt his pores open as the Natural Lightning turned into Qi and entered his body through the openings, forcefully refining his flesh. Groaning in pain, Alexander continued to circulate the qi with his breathing technique, feeling his flesh strengthening from the Qi’s wild nature.

“Zzzz”

The Natural Lightning Qi continuously flowed through Alexander’s pores. Half of the qi entered his body, refining and strengthening his flesh, the other half went further into his body before disappearing. Alexander had tried to follow this disappearing qi many times before, but he would always lose track of it, not knowing where it disappeared to.

Eventually, Alexander gave up and returned all his focus on using the Natural Lightning qi to refine his flesh.

Alexander was cultivating a Devil Technique, so he was naturally taking the Devil Path as his first step. The Devil path was separated into 7 great realms. Devilization, Semi Devil, Noble Devil, Great Devil, Devil Prince, Devil King, and The Legendary Devil Emperor Realm.

Each Realm was further separated into 9 ranks, each separated by a barrier that once broken through will give the cultivator great power, and each different realm was powerful enough to instantly crush a cultivator a lower realm.

The Devilization and Semi Devil Realms were the first and second most important steps of the Devil path. Setting a solid foundation that would greatly affect the distance and power of your path. The first and second rank of the Devilization strengthened the flesh, the second and third rank opened the meridians and strengthened them, the fifth and sixth refined the internal organs and systems, the seventh and eight purified the bone and bone marrow, and the ninth opened the Dantian.

Alexander jumped out of the pool and landed steadily on the ground. He looked down at his body and clenched his fist. Wild strength immediately surged through his flesh and a popping sound came from his arm as his muscles flexed.

“Hahahaha!”

Laughing, Alexander threw punches at the air in excitement. The air seemed to slightly bend around his fist as he threw around a few punches.

“I’ve finally reached the peak of the rank 1 Realm. With this type of strength, I could crush a normal rank 2 Devilization Realm Cultivator and evenly fight a rank 3.”

Alexander stretched his arms out wide before sitting down and decided to take a rest. Buying some food from the system shop, Alexander slowly ate and recovered his energy. Feeling energized again after a while, Alexander stood up and once again jumped in the pool.

Time passed slowly, in the middle of the circular room near the altar, a dim and small pool lying floating in the air. If anyone were to enter this room right now, they would see a head sticking out of the top of the pool. The head silently rested, taking deep patterned breaths. Sometimes slow and steady and sometimes quick and powerful, the head continued to silently rest above the pool. With every breath taken, the pool would get slightly smaller and dimmer, until it completely disappeared. With the disappearance of the pool, the body under the head revealed itself, radiating a healthy and powerful air.

Alexander opened his eyes slowly and fell to the ground. Rolling around his broad shoulders, he felt a sense of power coming from his flesh.

“Peak of rank 2!”

Chapter 8

“As expected of a Supreme grade Natural rank technique,” Alexander thought. He had reached the peak of the second rank in just a few hours, surpassing the speed of many geniuses.

Feeling greatly energized after his breakthrough, Alexander didn’t feel the need to take a break. With a wave of his hand, he summoned The Morning Dew Spiritual Pond out.

A small clear pond appeared in front of him, glistening from the lights reflecting off the engravings on the wall. A sweet scent spread through the room, giving Alexander a sense of release and greatly relaxing him.

Alexander remembered the information he read earlier about this pond. It was made of hundreds and thousands of Spiritual Morning Dew gathering and coming together. It was filled with Natural Water energy and just by being near it, one would feel physically relaxed.

Alexander didn’t waste a second’s time and jumped in the pond, only leaving his head out. Circulating the Origin World breathing technique, Alexander’s pores opened once more. The Natural Water energy of the pond quickly moved towards his body, entering it and passing through his flesh before Alexander quietly refined it into Qi.

Alexander groaned in pleasure as he felt his flesh once again transforming. The Natural Water qi was healing the hidden wounds left behind the Tyrannical refinement of the Natural Lightning qi. Ten minutes passed before all the little hidden injuries were fully healed, removing any potential future threats to Alexander.

Once the small little wounds were gone, The Natural Water Qi started moving passed Alexander’s flesh, deeper and deeper it went, until finally, it reached a barrier. Alexander knew what this was, this was the barrier separating him from the next rank. This was also the barrier that stopped him when he was trying to find where the other half of the Lightning qi went, maybe when he broke through, he would know.

The Natural Water qi repeatedly smashed into this barrier. Waves after waves of qi continuously attacked until the barrier could no longer hold.

BANG!

With a final smash, the barrier collapsed under the pressure of the wave. The Natural Water qi once again moves forward, flooding into Alexander’s meridians. Alexander felt his senses follow the qi, moving into a new area of his body. Giant long and wide tunnels appeared clearly in his mind, spreading throughout his body.

The Natural Water Qi flowed into these tunnels in one continuous motion. Now, Alexander once again discovered a phenomenon. Half of the qi from the flow entering his body would go deep into his body and disappear. Every time he tried to follow it, he would run into a barrier.

The Natural Water qi stayed in Alexander’s meridians begin to settle down. Looking at it, it was like a giant river appeared in his mind. His meridians were filled in half full before the flow of the Qi once again slowed. A barrier had naturally formed in his meridians, stopping them from filling all the way. Alexander gritted his teeth and started to circulate the Qi in his meridians, pushing them towards this barrier.

Alexander gathered his Qi to attack the barrier over and over, “Come one, one final push and I can break through to the 3rd rank!”

The barrier finally couldn’t stand Alex’s assault anymore and broke. The Natural Water qi rushed to the other side, beginning to quickly grow once again.

The higher the qi became, the smaller the pond outside became. Threads of Natural Water energy poured into Alexander’s body before being quickly refined by him. Finally, the pond disappeared, and Alexander’s meridians were filled to the brim with qi.

Alexander slowly fell to the ground and immediately sat in a meditative stance. Power flowed through him as he circulated his qi. This was an important step for him, he had to use his qi to break through the barrier separating him from the 4th rank.

“Break!” Alexander roared.

Boom! The barrier shattered under the pure force of his Qi, allowing his mind to move further in his body. There, Alexander saw his internal organs and systems. His young heart was thumping blood to the rest of his body with every beat.

With every thump, Alexander felt a surge of blood and Qi moving throughout his body.

Alexander once again waved his hands and a mysterious seed the size of his fist appeared. An ancient and old air came from this seed as if I came from an era long before this.

Alexander focused on the seed. The Naturally carved engravings on the seed gave it an air of ancient mystic.

“How should I absorb this?” Alexander wondered.

Alexander thought for a second and knew what the system was talking about. Taking the seed into his right hand, Alexander brought his left hand up and bit his thumb.

Moving his hand over the seed, drops of blood fell on it, quickly filling its engravings.

The seed turned blood red as the engravings on it were filled with blood. The blood disappeared into the seed seconds later.

Surprised, Alexander felt a link appear between him and the seed. He could feel the seemingly unlimited amount of Natural wood energy contained in the seed. With a thought, the energy moved towards his body going straight into his internal system.

“The Natural Wood energy will refine my entire internal system; this means I won’t have any bottlenecks until I reach the peak of the sixth level of Devilization.”

Alexander sat in a meditation pose as pure natural wood energy entered his body and refined his internal systems before turning into his qi. A few hours passed before Alexander opened his eyes.

“Finally reached the peak of the sixth level,” Alexander said as he released a breath of impure air.

Looking within, he could see his internal systems. The impurities had been cleansed and his organs shined with light. If anyone saw them, they’d think his insides were made of crystals.

Alexander furrowed his brow in confusion as he once again intensely searched his body. While he was cultivating, he felt The Ancient Tree fly into his body, giving him the final boost he needed to reach the peak of the sixth level. However, no matter how hard he searched, he could not find where it went.

“Where did it go? Is it in the same place as the Natural energy of lighting and water disappeared to? Whatever, I’ll find out eventually.”

Alexander took out the next item he bought from the system. Intense and burning hot energy immediately coursed through the room as ten red fist-size round stones appeared floating in a circle around Alex.

Crimson Sun Cores.

Alexander didn’t waste any time and immediately started to absorb the sizzling solar energy qi. Wave after wave of hot air could physically be seen entering his body and merging with his qi. Refining the sun energy into his own, Alexander prepared to break into the 7th level of the Devilization Realm.

Alexander circulated his qi deep into his body until he met a barrier. This was the only thing stopping him from the next level. Gathering all his strength, he broke past the barrier in one strike, moving into the late stage of the Devilization Realm.

A sense of power coursed his body as he reached the next level. Clenching his fist, Alexander threw a punch and shook the air. Excitedly sitting back down, Alexander entranced himself with his new power.

The late stage of the Devilization Realm consisted of the 7th and 8th level. It focused entirely on refining the bones and bone marrow. The 7th for the bones and the 8th for the bone marrow.

Focused on his body, Alexander guided the sun energy into his body before refining it into his qi. He then used his qi to carefully refine his bones, continuously strengthening and enhancing them. Streaks of red started to appear on his bones, making them look like the finest royal red jade. Once he completely refined his bones and they turned completely red, he would reach the peak of the 7th level.

Taking his time, Alexander carefully used his Qi to refine his bones. As if he was coloring in a drawing, red slowly filled his bones until it was finally fully red. Power spread through his body as he reached the peak of the 7th level. The ten crimson sun cores floating around him had silently decreased half in size. The energy in the air was so thick, it seemed it might condense at any given moment.

With every breath Alexander took, a sizable amount of energy entered his body. Pushing past his bones, Alexander pushed his qi into the bone marrow and broke through to the 8th level. The moment his qi encountered the bone marrow, roars seemed to escape from there as a terrifying energy broke out. An illusionary long serpentine Dragon with two sets of legs flew out of Alexander’s bone marrow. Following close behind it was four shadows. A flaming eagle burning with orange flames, A barbaric lion with long and dark majestic mane, A wild tiger throbbing with strength, and a noble wolf standing with pride.

These four illusionary beings flew out from Alexander’s bone marrow and stood out in the room. Alexander opened his eyes in shock and looked at them. He felt a faint link with each of them and realized it came from his marrow.

"System, what the flying f*ck is happening?"

The four beings, Alexander didn’t feel comfortable calling them beast or animals as he felt an innate connection to them, stood tens of meters above Alexander. They silently looked at Alexander for a second before raising their heads and roaring, sucking in all the crimson sun energy in the room. The cores floating in the air completely disappeared as the last of the energy present was devoured. The four beings then flew back into Alexander’s body, once again going back to the marrow.

Once they returned into his bone marrow, Alexander’s cultivation continuously rose all the way until the peak of the 8th level before stopping. He basically did nothing and reached the peak, only a step more and he could step into the 9th level, the peak of the Devilization Realm.

“Someone is coming out,” A servant pointed at Alexander as he walked out of the Royal Inheritance Palace.

“It’s the Fifth Prince Alexander!!” Someone replied after a while.

Screams of shock came out of the surrounding servants as they saw the new and improved Alexander standing there with a nonchalant look on his face.

“Quick, inform the Second Prince.”

“…The Third Prince.”

“…Fourth…”

The servants all ran toward their different master’s palace. The whole reason they were watching the Inheritance Palace was to tell their princes if the Fifth Prince came out.

After all the servants were gone, there was only a single old man quietly standing there smiling at Alexander.

“Jeffrey!” Alex smiled as he realized who this was. Jeffrey was the only butler his father assigned to take care of him since he was a kid. You could say he was like a second father to Alexander.

“Congratulations your highness, you succeeded in receiving the ancestor’s inheritance,” Jeffrey smiled and nodded.

“Come, Let’s return to the Palace.”

Alexander nodded and followed Jeffrey back to his royal palace. Every Prince had their own royal palace bestowed to them by their father once they were old enough to live on their own.

Once Alexander arrived at his royal palace, he understood why he would take the risk of dying in the inheritance. There were no servants in his palace, not even cleaning maids. Everything was handled by Jeffrey for the past few years. At first, he had many servants and maids, but as the year went by and he showed no talent in anything, they all left to follow the other princes in hope of a better future. “First level complete,” Alexander smiled and retracted the technique into his being. The Gold Skin returned to his normal light brown skin and Alexander smiled.

“It’s a good thing I can control it.” He didn’t want to completely turn into a gold prince. He could imagine himself walking around and people drooling thinking about how much they would get if they skinned him and sold his Golden skin. Alexander shivered at the thought.

Activating the technique again, Gold immediately appeared on his body and Alexander felt powerful strength rushing through his body.

“Good!”

Alexander looked at the second technique he had bought from the system. Nine Suns Godly Being Manual. Alexander had thought of a lot of things before he bought this God path cultivation technique. He had an idea, a crazy idea but if that idea worked, he would be crazy powerful. Thinking about whether he should take a break and go out to see Jeffrey, he decided against it and would continue to cultivate. Jeffrey wouldn’t bother his cultivation, and before he left the room, he made it his goal to reach the beginner level in all four paths.

These were sun seeds that were formed from the Nine Suns goldy being technique. This naturally meant he had reached the peak of the 9th level of the Ascension Realm. If anyone were to look at Alexander right now, they would think he was a godly being surrounded by heavenly clouds and rays of sunlight.

Alexander felt incredibly excited, not believing that he managed to create his core in such a short amount of time. Smiling for a minute, Alexander’s face suddenly changed, and he started paying attention to his dantian.

The Five Elemental Foundations that were quietly resting in his dantian seem to react to his soul core forming and began to absorb natural energy crazily. The Foundations began to surge and move towards each other to the center of his dantian, mixing and melding with each other.

Before long, a land around 5 acres began to form as lightning sparked and exploded out in his dantian. Water formed and trees sprouted out on the small land. The land continuously absorbed energy like a madman, giving spiritually to the air around the land.

The nine Sun seeds also automatically started to absorb a massive amount of heavenly energy, seemingly provoked by the forming of the land below. A shiny green-gold color came off his body, radiating a strong aura full of vitality and vigor.

Alexander moved his body about and was filled with great energy, filling as if he could move mountains and turns rivers. Canceling the technique, Alexander still full of energy mostly understood what happened.

This was the second level of the Shining Great Treasure Body, Flesh to Silver. The Shining Great Treasure Body altogether had five levels, each corresponding with a different realm. The first level, Skin to Gold cultivated the man realm, and the second level, Flesh to Silver, cultivated the Earth Realm. The third level, Meridians to Platinum, cultivated the Heaven Realm, as well a created the Basic Great Treasure Body, achieving small success in the technique.

He had managed to cultivate the second level and Realm when he broke through to the Semi-Devil Realm with the help of the great amount of Natural energy he absorbed during the breakthrough. This filled him with excitement as he saw a possible future ahead. He had indeed chosen the right path of cultivation.

The first time Alexander opened the Lucky Wheel Section, he couldn’t even look at the wheel. This time would be very different.

His mind was calm, and he looked towards the Items posted on the wheels. The Items were blurred by the heavenly light coming off the wheel and he could at most barely tell the shapes, but even then, he was excited to see what he would get.

The main reason he chose the Lucky Wheel Section as his next step was because of the +2 Luck he received from the World. He hoped this would help him get some good stuff that would help him right now.

“Spin The Wheel,” Alexander thought with his mind.

The heavenly wheel started to slowly spin clockwise, gaining speed at a steady momentum before stopping once again. The entire time, Alexander’s eyes never left the rotating wheel.
