Oh dear, chemistry — that wicked puzzle! Truly, why? It appears to exist to confuse students and to be honest; professors are occasionally caught up in this atomic dilemma.

Is it balancing equations? It’s more like juggling oxygens and hydrogens on both sides while trying to maintain your body’s oxygen levels.

Carbon with four valences? Forget it. Why not have a vacancy instead? Oh, you clown of the subjects, I kept getting stuck producing a normal solution that always turned abnormal solutions.

How about acids and bases? They resemble the odd personalities in this chemical humour. You have your alcohol ready to party with a hydroxyl group. Then there are the amines, with their nitrogen tricks forming bonds left and right. Also, watch functional groups where ketones and halogens have a unique attitude and will not take part in any party of chemical reactions, they have some atomic attitude.

I’m trying to navigate the fun chemistry circus. Oh, chemistry! Luckily, my pH is normal.
