You've been poisoned

Yun Bei let out a cold laugh, leisurely lying back in the bamboo chair, idly swinging. "My dear sister... You are Yun Lei's greatest hope. If you were destroyed, he would be left with nothing but despair... Don't worry, our game has just begun. I'll slowly play you to death..."

"Indeed, a woman's heart can be the most venomous..." A voice full of lament suddenly rang in her ear.

Yun Bei quickly sat up, looking around warily. "Who's there?" The voice sounded so close, yet she hadn't detected any presence. More importantly, this person had heard her plan. Instantly, a murderous intent arose in her heart.

"Don't be in such a hurry to eliminate the threat. Look down, puff out your chest, and strip, and you'll see me..." The voice teased.

Realizing what it meant, Yun Bei forcefully pulled at the pendant hanging from her neck, holding the Heavenly Eye in her hand. Slowly opening her palm, the Heavenly Eye was no longer the black, solid object it used to be but was as thin as a cicada's wing and clear as crystal.

"What exactly are you...?" Yun Bei asked, puzzled.

"Me? You'll find out in time. But for now, you can call me the Heavenly Eye, just like before!"

Heavenly Eye? Yun Bei was puzzled. The Heavenly Eye should have been with her all along, yet she had no memory of it speaking.

"You didn't know of my existence because your soul wasn't strong enough to break my seal... Now that you've broken it with your powerful soul, we can officially meet..."

Yun Bei was startled, wondering if this entity knew she was an imposter.

"I don't care who you are because now we are one. If you live, I live; if you die, I perish..." Suddenly, the Heavenly Eye melted into a pool of clear water and seeped into Yun Bei's palm.

Everything went dark, and Yun Bei found herself in a misty, chaotic space. She waved her hand, and the mist swirled around her fingertips like water.

"Where is this? Why is it so foggy?"

"This is my space... You can't see clearly because we haven't formally made a contract. Once we do, you'll be the master here..."

"A contract? What benefits do I get from contracting with you? Besides, I don't even know what you are. How can I be sure you won't harm me after the contract?" Yun Bei was wary of making a contract that might backfire and consume her soul.

"If you knew what I am now, it would bring endless trouble... My fate dictates that I can only have one master in my lifetime... Once the master dies, I cease to exist, so I couldn't possibly harm you..."

"Why choose me, a 'useless' person, as your master instead of a powerful being?"

"Who said you're 'useless'?" The Heavenly Eye let out a cold laugh. "You're considered 'useless' because someone poisoned you, blocking all your meridians and making it impossible for you to practice martial arts."

"What? Poisoned?" This revelation was like a bolt from the blue. Yun Bei had lived for thirteen years without any health issues, never feeling unwell. Where did this poisoning come from?

"The poison in you is peculiar. It's made from the venom of a hundred poisonous beasts mixed with the juice of a hundred poisonous plants. The combination creates a potent poison essence. Because the toxins counteract each other, they don't harm your body but suppress your innate abilities..."
