Did you know that even succulents grow calluses?
When broken, at first, a succulentâs âleafâ will be moist and vulnerable where it has snapped.
Then, with time, the place where it was broken will begin to scab and callus over. Preserving within the water the succulent so intelligently knows how to store.
But I bet you didnât know that that broken leaf can still grow. It just needs a new container: one with the right water, soil, and enough room for roots to flourish.
After all, who knows where that callus might lead?
