An incredible clash was going to break out between the Birds and the Monsters. At the point when the two armed forces were gathered together, the baton delayed joining. The Birds that passed his roost expressed, "Accompany us," but he said, "I'm a Monster." Later on, a few Monsters who were passing under him gazed upward and expressed, "Accompany us," yet he said, "I'm a Bird." Fortunately, without a second to spare, harmony was made, and no fight occurred, so the Bat came to the Birds and wished to participate in the rejoicings, yet they generally betrayed him, and he needed to take off. He then went to the Monsters, but before long he needed to beat a retreat, or, in all likelihood, they would have destroyed him. "Ok," said the Bat, "I see now."

He who is neither one thing nor different has no companions."
