The thief flew past her as she strolled the sidewalk, snatching her bag from her shoulder and sprinting off down the road.
But he picked the wrong victim, as Victoria had prepared for this very day.
She twirled on the spot, chanting under her breath, her outfit morphing into a hardened armour shield and sprinted forward, catching the thief in seconds, laying him bare.
As he looked up from the sidewalk and into her eyes, she smiled demonically “Your days as a petty thief are numbered you pitiful twat! Women are not the weak creatures you portray us to be.”
I was challenged to write a drabble of the word ‘snatch'.
Wikipedia defines a drabble as follows :
A drabble is a short work of fiction of precisely one hundred words in length. The purpose of the drabble is brevity, testing the author's ability to express interesting and meaningful ideas in a confined space.
