"You know, from the day I met you, I planted a wish in my heart..."

The witch sat slumped on the ground, her face lifted, staring at the scarred man in front of her, and two bright tears ran down her cheeks.

Fifteen years ago.

The witch was resting on her broomstick in the sky and could see a cloud of black smoke in the distance.

She flew to the source of the black smoke. What had been a village was now a ruin, with broken walls everywhere, and the air was thick with the smell of burnt wood and blood.

She rummaged through the rubble for a long time and finally found a small boy alive under a large water tank.

The witch picked him up excitedly.

The little boy, only five years old, was in the air with tears, shivering and asking: "Female... Aunt Witch, will you eat me?"

The Witch wrinkled her pretty eyebrows, pinched his white cheek, and said, "Sister!"

At this moment, a group of villagers with hoes and sickles rushed over.

In the distance they saw the little boy in the witch's arms.

The crowd burst into shouts.

"Quick, catch her! It must be the witch who has destroyed the village!"

"My God, who can save that poor child!"

Seeing the villagers come, the witch quickly picked up the little boy, mounted the broom and flew away.

Soon after, the witch was accused of slaughtering the village and wanted all over the country.

She did not care, and spent her days playing nurture games in her magic hut, where he taught the little boy to mix potions and sense magic.

Whenever he was lazy, her wand struck him mercilessly on the head.

But whenever the witch tried to teach him a lesson, he would put his chubby little hands over his head and stare at her pitifully with his big, watery eyes.

As a result, the witch's punishment often fell by the wayside.

The days passed quickly, and the boy grew up.

By the time he was twenty years old, he was so much bigger than the witch that she could barely touch his forehead when she stood on tiptoe.

She could no longer strike him on the top of the head as she liked, and whenever she wanted to punish him, he had to hold the Witch's head with his arms straight so that no matter how she waved her wand she could not touch him.

The witch hid herself in her study and sulked while she read "One Hundred Ways to Cook for a Man.

On these occasions, he would make her favorite egg dumpling and watch her lovingly eat a plate of egg dumpling while she said it was not good.

It was shopping day, and he rode out on his broom to get the ingredients, while she stayed at home, reading a book.

Suddenly a flaming arrow came in.

The defensive array on the witch's black robe is instantly activated. She stopped the arrow and floated out of the house with her staff.

It's a bunch of bounty hunters, some of them professional witch killers.

"Here at last?"

When he returned with a pile of food, the house was in ruins, and the witch was standing on her wand, her robe torn, her white skin dripping with red blood.

The witch looked up and saw him. His eyes were burning.

"Get lost! Get the kids out of the way!"

"Roared the witch at him.

He walked slowly up to her, touched her head, and said, "Fifteen years, and I don't know you."

Wand in hand, his back to her, he said, "You know, from the day I met you, I planted a wish in my heart..."

Before he had finished speaking, a thousand arrows were being fired at him, and his wand, shining, stood in front of him, fending off all attacks.

The witch sat slumped on the ground, her face lifted, staring at the scarred man in front of her, and two bright tears ran down her cheeks.

The fight went on for who knows how long, but at last his wand broke, and there were very few bounty hunters left standing.

"If we only bring this witch's body back, we'll have a bounty we'll never spend!"

As he spoke, an arrow shot at the witch.

He threw himself in front of her and held her tight, blocking the arrow with his back.

At this moment, a knight galloped up, Shouting to the bounty hunters, "By the King's order, the perpetrators of the slaughter of the village have been caught. It is a bunch of thieves, and the witch is not guilty! Not guilty of the witch!"

The witch touched his fading cheek with tears.

"Why... Why?"

He smiled, touched her forehead fondly, and said, "The wish I have planted is... Protect you, for the rest of my life."

He stood up on the ground, turned his back on the bewildered crowd, picked up the witch sideways, and slowly walked away.

The witch was held in his arms like a princess, and she said, "Your wound, is it all right?"

He smiled and said, "It doesn't matter. I'll take the arrow out later, and you'll cure me with magic."

"I... Where are we going?"

"Together, we'll find a new home."
