Laying in Harrison's bed, Jesse was wide awake. Tired but, unable to fall asleep. This whole situation was a total mistake. Taking his ex-girlfriend's Dad's offer like this. Sleeping in the same bed with the older man too. It wasn't a wise decision in the slightest bit.

Yet, it didn't feel entirely wrong either. Neither what they did together earlier. Not full blown sex just heavy making out. Harrison toying with his hair as they kissed. Leaving hickey marks on his neck that he only noticed in the mirror. Jesse found them sort of cute. It was something that Elizabeth never let him do to her. And never did to him back unless she was drunk. Which wasn't very often.

The kissing was also much better than with Elizabeth had ever been. As Harrison held him closely after that. No touching in places that Jesse didn't want. Unlike Elizabeth, he respected Jesse's boundaries. It was nice. Much nicer than anytime that he spent with his ex-girlfriend. Being treated like someone with feelings and boundaries. Instead of getting upset when he didn't get what he wanted.

Now, here he was unable to sleep in the older man's bed. All he could think of was how his ex might feel. Just how betrayed she might be by this. Never mind that she cheated on him with his own older brother. This just seemed to be much worse than that. In his mind it was way worse. This was a whole new level of wrong in his mind. Jesse wasn't entirely sure why he didn't actually feel guilty though. He knew that he should be feeling some form of guilt over this. That what he had done earlier was wrong. Yet, he felt no guilt at all as he laid next to Harrison. The young man wondered if she was even ever going to find out or not.

If she did, what was she going to do? Would she yell? Scream at him and Harrison for what happened? Disown her own Father for taking in her ex? Just what was Lizzie going to say about this?

And why couldn't he bring himself to give a damn? Jesse wasn't sure. All he was sure of was that he felt great. But, why was Jesse fine with...he didn't know why. Nor did he really wish to find out either. Instead, he turned back to the sleeping Harrison. Curling up to the older man for some of his body heat. As well as enjoy the scent of his cologne. That was just so utterly wonderful in his mind. Not too musky or too sweet. Whatever it was, it was just delightful. Pressing his cheek into Harrison's chest carefully. The older man's arm then wrapped around his upper body. Keeping him close as Jesse closed his eyelids once again. Trying to fall asleep once again. Listening to the sound of Harrison's heartbeat.

Focusing on the steady sound of it. And soon, he finally fell asleep against the older man. While Jesse slept Harrison was internally freaking out over the whole thing. He was in bed with his daughter's ex-boyfriend. Whom he invited over to stay at his home. Stay in his bed for the night too. Telling her that he never wanted to see her again.

That she was no longer his daughter over this. As it hadn't been the only time she treated her boyfriends like this. And he was utterly sick of it. Especially, when it was someone as sweet as Jesse. A person they'd known for a few years now. Then Harrison blocked him on everything that he could. It made him feel slightly guilty over this action. She was his only daughter after all. And Harrison was the only parent that Liz had left. As his ex-wife had bailed on them ten years ago.

But, Jesse had no one on his side. Neither of his folks cared how much his older brother, Chris, had harmed him. They phoned him to tell him as such. And Harrison had overheard that whole conversation. Now, he was never a violent man. Never had an interest in causing harm to others. But, he wanted to seriously hurt those two assholes that Jesse called parents. Especially, for making his little Sunshine cry. Sure Jesse didn't openly weep in front of him. Excusing himself to the privacy of the upstairs bathroom. But, Harrison still knew that he was crying in there. Crying fairly quietly but, loud enough for him to hear. Okay so, he pressed his ear against the door.

But, still.

Jesse deserved to be treated better than that. Better than any of those assholes. And Harrison could provide all that for him. All the love, attention, and devotion that none of them gave him. Especially, his daughter. Treat Jesse like the Prince that he was. Maybe even better than that. Definitely better than that.

It was going to be awkward living together for a while. Lizzie was probably going to be upset with him for this. If she ever found out about him and Jessie that is. Yet, Harrison couldn't actively bring himself to care about that. Nor could he try to drum up any feelings over it. All he cared about was himself and the beautiful man curled up against his side. Face pressed against his chest with a sleepy smile on his face. Closing his eyelids once again, he found himself falling asleep.

Feeling they could deal with everything once they've fully rested.
