Apocalyptic Sibling Rivalries
Microfiction apocalypse piece
“Guys, this was my portion!” Famine whined as he stopped his black horse. War and Conquest slowed their horses to a trot as they passed their younger brother.
“Please, wherever we go, you follow.” War bellowed before galloping away on his red stallion.
“Exactly, you’ll have your fun yet!” Conquest chuckled and trotted past.
“Fifty percent wasn’t enough for you? I’m telling dad when we get back!” Famine rode after his siblings.
Death grinned as he looked around at the decay and listened to his younger siblings bicker in the distance. After all, they were doing his job for him.
