ANOTHER LIFETIME

A very selfish love of life

By Crystal HamiltonPublished about a year ago 1 min read

Cheryl held her two-year-old great granddaughter Honey tight, kissed her on the cheek and laughed. Then the look on Cheryl’s face turned sinister and she said, “thank you Honey for your sacrifice, I get to live another lifetime”.

Cheryl’s granddaughter, Andrea busted into the door of the bedroom when she heard her grandmother crying like a baby. Honey was lying next to Cheryl, brushing her great grandmother’s cheeks with her hands. Honey looked up at her wide-eyed mother, Andrea with a strange smile, then picked up the cellphone. The screen read, “A LITTLE TOO LATE!” Then Honey started laughing hysterically.

I love a good mystery. I like writing and telling stories that keep people wondering, like mysteries. I like writing songs also. This will be my first time putting any of my stories on the internet, because my mind is my biggest setback.
