Under the linden tree, there lived a nest of ants.

The ants used to climb up and down the dry and cracked trunk of the linden tree. The linden tree never minded that the ants disturbed his life.

When the linden tree is in bloom, the snow-white linden tree flowers give off a fragrant fragrance. The ants come out of their nests and crawl all over the branches of the linden tree, some swinging their tentacles to enjoy the flowers, and some sticking their heads into the flowers to eat the nectar. The linden tree became a paradise for ants to enjoy the flowers and collect nectar, and the ants became a partner of the linden tree to drive away loneliness.

One fine day, a strange echo flew to the linden tree, and the Eko laid a small egg on the leaves of the linden tree. After a while, many, many caterpillars emerged from these little eggs. The caterpillars crawled all over the leaves of the linden tree and kept eating them. The linden tree was bitten by the caterpillars and the pain was unbearable.

One day, the linden tree could not stand it, he held his body shaking, the purpose is to shake off these hateful caterpillars. But the caterpillars were stuck to the leaves, and the tree could not do anything about them.

The linden tree was tormented to the point of exhaustion. Within a few days, the dense green leaves were eaten by the caterpillars and wilted. The linden tree was so sad that it let out a low moan, the sound was so weak, so helpless.

A small and returning home from foraging heard the moaning of the linden tree and stopped, put down the food in his mouth, wiggled his tentacles, and gently asked, "Grandpa Lime Tree, are you sick?"

The linden tree said intermittently, "Alas - these hateful caterpillars are ...... torturing me to death! "

The little ant looked up at the canopy of the linden tree and was amazed. I saw a caterpillar-like starving ghost constantly nibbling on the leaves of the linden tree, the leaves were almost eaten up. The little ant said, "Grandpa Lime Tree, please bear with me, I will go to the ant king to find a solution!" After saying that, he hurriedly ran into the anthill.

After hearing the report of the little ant, the ant king took some of his generals with him and hurriedly went out of the anthill. At first glance, it was like what the little ant had said.

The ant king turned his two tentacles and said to everyone, "Grandpa Lime is our benefactor. We can't forget the kindness. We must find a way to save the linden tree."

The ant king and several great generals went tentacle to tentacle, discussed, and decided to go to the forest to invite the great tits, the insect catchers, to come to the rescue.

The ant king sent a member of the ants known as the scud to the forest in a hurry and found the great tits.

After receiving the invitation, the great tit led her siblings to the lime tree and began the battle to eliminate the caterpillars. In less than half a day, the caterpillars on the linden tree were caught clean.

The linden tree was happy to see that all the caterpillars had been eaten and said to the tits, "Thank you! Thank you, great tits!"

The great tits said, "If you want to thank them, thank the ants. It was the ants who told us to come."

The linden tree lowered its head and looked at the ants on the ground celebrating its victory with a grateful smile. He swayed his body and said loudly, "Thank you!"

The ants on the ground all wiggled their tentacles and said to the lime tree, "Grandpa Lime Tree, you are welcome, it is our duty to help you!"

The wind gently brushed the branches of the linden tree, the rain quietly moistened the branches of the linden tree, and under the kiss of the sun, the linden tree soon put on a new green costume again
