An unfinished book on Wattpad : The traveling notes of Koksy Terray!

You can also recommend my writing to a friend or a family member especially if you liked it. Today is Friday August 20th 2021. I will talk about an unfinished book I've posted on Wattpad a while ago. It is titled "The traveling notes of Koksy Terray", it is a ninja story written in English by myself even if I am a French-Speaking person in 2014 under my pen name Cory Radam.

Here is the story, I hope you will enjoy reading it :

"PREFACE

For years in Japan, ninjas didn't have extraordinary powers but some day; long ago, a Japanese scientist and professor made a mistake while he was having a chemistry class causing the ninja students present there to inhale the substance and to develop later super powers. Those people were banned from the ninja society where they used to live because the normal other ninjas were afraid of them. They decided to exile on an island and they started over by building their own city called Ninja City. They also married women from other races; that's why at Ninja City, you can find out Asian look-alike with blue, green, grey or brown eyes with sometimes red, blond hair instead of only black silky hair or simply Black ninjas. For some reason, within the years, ninjas completely disappeared from Japanese society but it perpetuated at Ninja City.

The story begins with two ninja twins called HI Lake and KC Lake that possess an incredible power: Mastery. But this book is not about them. It is about KC's friend, Koksy Terray, a beautiful and ambitious Fire ninja girl with long dark hair and pale blue eyes.

This is the last week of January which is a break period for every school at Ninja City and Koksy Terray has decided to travel to find the highly valued Fire Energy Ball that most Fire ninjas want to get to increase their powers. Unlike the cliché in most action-movies, those adventurers don't lose their lives by trying to obtain it but they do go back to their home humiliated and exhausted after a painful search in the forest.

For those who don't know Koksy Terray well, she is a ninja that comes from a line of Fire ninjas that usually marry other Fire ninjas but for the first time in the family for decades, her father married a Light ninja and they gave birth to her and her little sister Grace, who is a Light ninja just like her mother.

Koksy is certain she can find the cave where the famous Fire Ball is hidden and accomplish that within the short period of time between January 24th

And January 30th. Well, let's say she hopes to do so.

Will she succeed? Let us just find out by reading her personal traveler's notes. We can say at least, she certainly was very determined to fight her way through the forest all by herself.

Chapter ONE

January 24th

Hi, my name is Koksy Terray and from now on, I am going to report to you every event that will occur while I am traveling to the huge forest located at the North-West of Ninja City. Maybe you are wondering why I am doing it during the winter; I could have just stayed at home enjoying my week vacations just like HI, Grace, KC, Deyle and Emilio did, instead of enduring the cold outside all by myself. Even if my friend KC didn't oppose overtly to my project she didn't support it either. She actually made sure to skip the subject.

Well you see, I am a Fire ninja that is attempting her best to get the famous Fire Energy Ball left by the last Sun ninja somewhere in the middle of nowhere. According to the legend, Sun ninjas are not only very rare but they didn't like to get married. The last one for some reason didn't have children but he at least, he did something smart. He decided to keep his unique power in a place where only the purest at heart could find it. In a mysterious cave that is somewhere hidden in the forest located at the North-West.

All the Fire ninjas that I know have failed to find it so to tell the truth, I am not that confident that I can find it myself (don't let HI Lake hear that because she believes that I am cocky and I don't mind to let her think so). I am only sixteen years-old and I don't think as myself as that experienced. Nevertheless, I will keep going forward. I will search the power of the sun like crazy. I have hopes that I can find it.

Right now at this present moment, I am in the suburban train that will stop at the frontier of the city. I am charging my cell through the electricity of the train because I will be out of electricity soon when I will be all alone in the nature. To tell the truth, I am slightly scarred to know that by tomorrow night, I will be sleeping in trees or in a small cave, actually anywhere until I find the right entrance to the Fire Ball. I dislike camping so anybody that is aware of this fact, can understand the incredible effort I am making to go on this journey. Fortunately, according to the virtual map on my smartphone, there is one or two farms and lots of trees in the area I am right now. I am glad I've brought with me a survival kit but it is also important to know where I can go ask for help if it is really important. One is never careful enough because besides the cold temperature, there are savage animals that will not necessarily welcome you in the woods. Well I have to put down my pen right now and close my notebook to get some rest before we arrive at destination.

January 25th

As soon as I woke up, my first thought was "What was I thinking? Seriously why did I decide to leave behind all civilization and to go camping alone in the middle of nowhere?" Besides, it is really cold and even if I am a Fire ninja, I cannot heat my body and use my powers just like that. Like everybody else, we, ninjas at Ninja City do have energy power limits besides the physical limits.

I really cannot stop worrying. What will I do if I get attacked by stupid macho male ninjas that want to prove to themselves that they are better than me? I should have not closed my cell. No! I did the right thing by closing it, to save some energy for the battery. Sigh, if only *KC or *Grace were here. I would feel more secure. But this is life, you can't always count on others to resolve your problems. I remembered reading that sentence somewhere: "Everybody has to endure his own hardship" but I can't remember where I've read it or hear it. Anyway, for my safety I am hiding in the heights of a giant tree. That isn't the best hiding place because everyone at Ninja City knows that ninjas hide in trees but that was the best idea that came in my mind for the moment. I seriously lack imagination. Sigh, I wished I had KC's power and to be able to steal for twenty-four hours the power of an Invisibility ninja to be able to sleep in peace. In the dangerous position that I am right now, I don't really have the choice than to sleep with one eye opened. But now that I am thinking, I should stop worrying so much and start paying attention to the beauty of my immediate environment. In this forest we have delicate white crystal flowers, giants green trees with the branches covered with snow, small animals like squarreflies and coccyxnellas and...I am not so sure, but very probably a river!

That's it! I shall start looking for this river! It will help me find the mysterious cave faster because according to the legend, anyone that travel to go to the source of the river, will find the cave. But I am kind of exhausted for now on. Plus I am starving: I'll take just one quick snack, drink some water and get back on my feet.

I'll keep walking in the forest to continue my researches another two-three before sleeping at least six hours. Stay tune everybody. The adventures had just begun!

*KC Lake: she is the best friend of Koksy Terray and she is a powerful Mastery ninja that is also the fake twin sister of HI Lake, the renowned and younger master ninja on the Island of Ninjas. She is wise and careful.

*Grace Terray: a Light ninja, she is also the younger sister of Koksy. She is wise, careful and often has great ideas to resolve many problems.

January 26th

I am taking a few minutes while eating some fruits picked from some bushes (don't worry, I've made sure they weren't the poisoned ones), to write down my impressions on the forest. It is insanely calm in here. You don't hear birds singing or other stuff like that. I didn't have the opportunity to see any small little animals running away from me. I was lucky not to find either any more dangerous animals like the *Squarreflies. I remember that HI told me once (yeah, that awful girl can be useful sometimes) that a squarrefly is deadly cute. In other terms, they look adorable to be able to better backstab you. However I wonder what they look like. I've never seen one and never took the opportunity to look up to one on Virtugo because of a lack of interest. I'll now close my notebook to keep walking until I find the cave that supposedly contains the Fire Ball. Fortunately I was able to find the river. But the compass should work also until I find that cave. The sayings always tell that it isn't that difficult to find the cave, it is finding your way inside the cave that is truly difficult.

January 27th

I am still walking through the forest towards the cave and according to the map that I've found on Virtugo, I should arrive at destination in three hours. For right now, I am enjoying the view.

The trees I am watching through the windows are wonderfully green. Not pale green but with a vivid touch. I don't know why but it is hard on my eyes. For some reason. I had to stop watching the leaves to concentrate on just walking on the road.

According to the legend, the ninja that arrives inside the cave must prepare himself or herself to face mighty and deadly enemies. Oh well, happy to hear about that. I believe I will send a love email to my family before getting inside of the cave then.

Seriously, why did I decide to go on that trip anyway? Answer: because of my unreasonable ambition.

February 14th

Anybody that is reading my notes and is also attentive to details will notice for sure that we are around two weeks later and might ask what happened between those periods of time. Well, let us make something clear at first: I am still alive after entering the cave. And to avoid spoiling the best part of my adventures, I won't let you know-at least just yet-if I became the last and only Sun ninja. I am presently writing those sentences at my best friend's house, KC Lake because my little sister Grace was giving me a hard time at home. So I had to escape from her constant intrusion into my room. Apparently, she was so scared to lose me that soon after I came back home, she is pursuing me with a lot of affection and loving attention. It warms my heart but it makes it also difficult for me to concentrate on completing several of my projects. But let us just forget about those insignificant details to go back on what happened while I was in that cave. Where I did meet monsters and...Well, tomorrow, I will tell you all. That's it for today!

February 15th

Alright! I know I have been keeping you on guessing. But today I will definitely start sharing the latest news with you. So, I've entered the cave and guess who my first enemy was? A Squarefly!!!

It attacked me with...water after appearing soon after I've walked by a dark tunnel on my right. I must say that this enemy wasn't that difficult to defeat, yet, it made me lose a lot of energy while fighting it. Because when fire meets water, water is the element that automatically wins. I had to use my physical warrior ninja skills to beat it then. My sword sliced the monster: that's how I won that first battle. Now, this is it for today. I want to give the information little by little to keep the sparkles alive. So talk to you tomorrow then!!!

February 16th

I must admit that I was scared a lot when I've walked further to pursue my goal. I was wondering what kind of obstacle would be next but I didn't have much time to think that I was already attacked by another monster. A monster that is unknown by our community of ninjas. I will try to describe it to you: it looked like a giant turtle. That monster was almost invincible due to his protective barrier. Now that I am thinking, I am quite surprised that I was able to defeat it at all. So that's it for today. Talk to you tomorrow for the rest of the adventures.

February 17th

The next hours I had to go through throwing knives, walked on walls and run towards a dark tunnel holding only a fire ball in my hands."

In conclusion, this is what I've written so far. I want to continue writing this story during Summer 2022 because I have many other writing projects to achieve. I am currently a student in paralegal technology and I don't really have the time to write books. I only have the time to study for my classes, that is fine but I will make sure starting tomorrow to write at least one hour per week because I have a personal deadline to meet before September First 2021. I want to complete the second book of my trilogy titled " The Diary of Melissa Gautier" as soon as possible. Wish me good luck! Thanks for reading me and have a great day!
