I found a gold ring on the beach with my metal detector. It still had a severed finger attached to it. Without delay, I started digging, trying to find anything else nearby, and sure enough, I did.

A tuft of golden hair billowed in the wind. Digging further down, I continued unearthing the corpse.

"She's beautiful. Well, at least she was."

Stripping every single ounce of jewelry off her, I tossed them all into my bag. As I walked away the hairs on the back of my neck stood up.

As I turned around I saw her standing there.

"Thief."
