His fingers trembled on his Oxford’s buttons.
She appeared around the corner, black dress hugging legs and hips, beauty even age couldn’t diminish. Her lovingly dragged hand across his shoulders didn’t help the trembling.
“Dearest, why, after eighteen years, do you still get nervous on date nights?"
He smiled. “True love’s occupational hazard.”
